  1. No, lego doesn't do that anymore; you'll have to buy 3 different 130 dollar non-space sets to get your blue astronaut. Yawn; space adjacent, NASA, and a buildable figure Anyone know when the gold & turquoise torsos will show up on PAB North America again?
  2. I didn't see this discussed, but this random minecraft set from this year has 2 6x8 trans-blue plates randomly. I just think this is kinda cool given how infrequently they make transparent plates nowadays. They're also in the BDP 10 palette
  3. Glad you took my comment as it was intended; I don't mean to argumentative, sorry.
  4. Quite randomly, it seems to me. The dark blue parts are already gone a few hours after it opened too, lol
  5. Hopefully they'll open it up like they did the orange spaceman. I don't care much for the gold guy, but I want the teal dude. I suspect PAB standard will reopen when the virginia factory opens (as many do). Lets hope they reach that full production target early.. Given there being plain pieces available on bricklink and a classic spaceman sticker sheet (readily available on https://www.brickstickershop.com/Space-Torsos ), helmets and airtanks are all you really need. As bestsellers or standard?
  6. Not a fan of the white or the modern faces, but interesting piece usage
  7. Thats not the inaccuracies I meant. Parts of the armor for specific characters are explicitly the wrong color and the ammo pack on the chest has only 3/4 of the packs. Those aren't major things; just wierd that they got them wrong. Couldn't they compare it to sonic? I wonder about the relative popularity of sonic and its success. That way of speaking, lmao "I sense something. a presence I've not felt since.."
  8. I suppose it would the only thing lego might release, but I think there's a lot of backing for a fondor haulcraft (though I think they're kinda ugly), and a midi-scale Cantwell-class would be sublime (brickvault has a rather nice one if I recall correctly). I'd be all over those star-corps guys if the battlepack wasn't 1. 45 fuckin dollars 2. they had waistcapes. I can ignore some of the inaccuracies, but christ... How did these designers (who's entire job is to design this stuff) make some many obvious errors? Really the bigger issue is how they've blended the TCW and movie armor styles. The "Fart Brick™️" is just an amazing thing to see after hidden side, videyo, and even new-mindstorms have now failed. You've just got to wonder from so many descisions lego makes.. how many times will it take them to learn this lesson.
  9. I would rather there not be an r5-a2 figure than having gotten the disgrace that they released, yes. If they're not going to print them right, I'd rather they make something else Whats the appeal of the tie avenger exactly? Not the figures I imagine and the build is just a tie interceptor, but slightly different
  10. Amazon has the same price too, if that floats anyone's boat more Even if it was a Wrath of Khan or TOS set (AKA, had an enterprise that wasn't butt-ugly), 400 dollars is too rich for my blood.
  11. I've got like 3 or 4 of those trans-yellow canopies extra that'd I'd give you, lol. I think bricklink has a ton too.
  12. https://brickset.com/article/126606/lego-10356-star-trek-u-s-s-enterprise-ncc-1701-d-announced! lego star trek; never thought I'd see the day.
  13. I didn't even know zero company was a thing. I kinda glad they're not going to do it knowing how sad I'd be when they'd ruin that R5 with their post-2018 r5 printing style.
  14. At that price (and given that PAB standard is not doing anything in the USA until the Virginia factory opens) I might have to go for it.
  15. I want to like the new-renegade (B-tron is cool and I've even built my own version of the ship), but it just looks like the C build of a 3-in-1 set. You talk about modifying it, but for me, at that point I might as well just start from scratch. Curious about how the GE lost your interest? Was it just the hype of 'spaaaacceship'? I picked up a bunch of the figures on PAB after the blacktron GWP, but I had no idea that the renegade actually used prints (appears I'm conflating that part with the "Blacktron Cruiser"). Good to know
