Looking good. I really like how you did the innards of the vehicle. It adds to the realism.

[GBW] - Free Build - Sjørdfjordmoen - Strange Delievery

Looks good. The lighting and general photography definetly improved since your last post, though maybe you could focus a little mor on the building part, cause while the story is good, there isn't much to look at. Though I like the meta reference. -

Lovely. A follow up question, are the "walls" of the tent just pushed in, or are they attached in any way? -

Not bad. You made the build itself, which is rather small look a lot bigger with the dim lighting and the rain effects. Looks ok. -

Could you tell me how you did the tent? I always struggle with things made of fabric, especially Tests. -

As always great work. I really love the tent and the bugle. There are a lot of cool little details, like the little black craters where the bombs hit. The way you also did a little backstory for the bugler and how he is shaken by the things he witnessed, an amazing amount of thought you put into this. -
After arriving in Nak-Hu, the IICO's set up an observation point near the construction site, from which they had a good look at the target. In the following days, they took photos from every possible angle, all while making sure nobody saw them. After observing the lab for two weeks without any incidents, one information, or rather one occurance stood out. Every two days, a mysterious man in a suit would show up to discuss the blueprints with the designer and bring new orders from the contractor. Soon, a plan was formed. After getting permission from the local government and HQ, Sergant Cole and two men under his command started the operation. The plan was to set up a roadblock to stop the couriers car and fake a highway robbery, which are common in these parts. After dressing up as common criminals and arming themselves with unregistered weapons, they chopped down an out of order power pole as a provisional road block. Then, they waited. Soon, the couriers car could be seen approaching on the horizon. As the soldiers lay in waiting, the courier was distracted by a phone call and only noticed the pole once it was right in front of him. The car stopped and the man stepped out, the sergant gave a silent command to his men. They jumped out of the roadside ditch and got to work. While Cole and one of his men held the courier at gunpoint, the third one went around the car. A quick search revealed that they had hit gold. Not only did they find the blueprints for the lab, but something even more valuable. "Well would you look at that!" one of the soldiers said while pulling some documents out from a hidden stash underneath the drivers seat. They contained information on the contractor, his associates and the purpose of the laboratory. Cole turned to the courier and asked him harshly what they were for, but the man was frozen in terror. "WHAT ARE THOSE FOR!!!" the Sergant screamed. In response, the courier stuttered the word "S-Selling." Apparently, he was planning on selling the information to the highest bidder and then head off with the money. When the IICO's had finished taking photos of the blueprints and other documents, the courier spoke out: "Y-you aren't regular highway r-robbers, are you?" Sergant Cole answered in a satisfied voice: "Clever boy.". Then the sound of a gunshot tore through the hot air, unheard as it slowly faded in the sheer endless wasteland. As the mans body hit the floor, Cole ordered his men to put the blueprints and documents back to where they found them and take anything valuable with them, in order to solidify the story of a brutal highway robbery. Mission Successful

Ok, good to know.

Is it ok to use lego builds of real vehicles, or do you have to build your own? Because i've got a lot of replicas of real vehicles that i'd like to use in future builds.

[GBW] - Plighia - Arms Delivery - Plighia Help Al-Quirmam
Mirror1810 replied to ParmBrick's topic in The Great Brick War
Cool. It has all the necessary funtions of an APC or IFV and pretty realistic armament. It must be a fierce opponent to face in battle. Stunning! -
Ok. But if you post your build for a mission, it is seen as finished and you can apply for the next one, or is that also not allowed?

Awesome! Could you post a closeup of the "Commando"? You can only really see it in the first picture from a less than charming angle and I'd like to enjoy the vehicle to its fullest. Other than that, great. I like the texturing on the ground in the gap between train and platform, and the little cargo crane/catwalk thingy. -
Ok. On another note, can you have multiple missions assigned to you at once?
-
Ok... But the Nak-Hu Gun for hire mission is still valid, cause' it's gone from the map?

In a dark back alley in a classified location, agents of the Deland Republic are buying the formular for a material known only under the codename ICICLE from an anonymus seller. In order to make sure the situation doesn't get out control, agents have been positioned all around the location in order to immediatly pacify possible attackers. After transporting the package to an underground lab in [REDACTED], far away from the eyes of the BoN, it is watched over by Dr. Keiler, one of the nations best scientists. He and two assistants look on nervously, as two workers in chemical protection suits approach the apparatus known as "The Forge", in order to begin the process of creating an ICICLE instance. The order is given! "Begin!" is heard through the workers radios. As heat fills the room and flames sprout out of the machine, two cities nearby experience a blackout because of the immense power required by the lab. After a few seconds of total silence, one of the workers announces through the radio that the process was successful. He pulls a glowing blue sphere out of the curcible, that gives of immense heat. The scientist watch in tension, as the unstable material exits the flames. Then a mighty bang is heard. Less than a second later, the machine is incinerated in a powerful explosion. The unstable material sets free an incredibly hot and acidic fluid, that covers the workers as they are thrown back by the blast. While his assistants are visibly shook, Dr. Keiler seems unbothered by the explosion. One worker is thrown against the wall and dies immediatly, as the acid quickly dissolves his lower body, the other one is not so lucky. The young man screams in shock and pain, as the fluid chews through his suit and dissolves his hand in the blink of an eye. As he calls for the scientists to help him, Dr. Keiler has diverts his attention to the floor where the machine was standing only a few secnds ago. There, inbetween the acid that's slowly making it way through the steel and concrete, a glowing blue sphere can be seen. They had managed to stabilise the ICICLE. His thoughts are interrupted by his assistants, that pressure him to help the young man in the testing chamber, but the Dr. answers in a cold voice: "No! Zhis ist zhe perfect opportunity to see zhe effects of unstable ICICLE on zhe human body. Maybe it has potential as a weapon too." For a few minutes, Dr. Keiler watches as the crying and screaming worker begs for help, while the fluid continues to dissolve more and more of his body in an insanely painful way. After one more minute, silence fills the room, only interrupted by the man's last gasps for air, then even that stops. Research will continue on ICICLE, for the potential of its stabilized form to be used as a weapon. (Disclaimer: Stabilized ICICLE isn't acidic in any way, it just makes explosives more powerful, think of it as similar to the depleted Uranium used in Abrahams ammo. So, no BoN offense.)

[GBW] - Free Build - Deland Republic - Beach Patrol
Mirror1810 posted a topic in The Great Brick War
"****!" curses Sergant Cole, as he and his men walk along the shoreline on a beautiful summer day. The road is in shambles, as it has been exposed to the tides for so long. One of the Soldiers speaks up: "Well Sergant, maybe you shouldn't have been so... energetic when asking why there are no new missions and...". His scentence is cut short by Cole's voice: "Carter, 30 pushups, now.". The soldier obliges and gets on the ground. "Anyone else wanna say something?" the Sergant barks, as he looks at the other two. "Sarge, no Sarge!" the soldiers proclaim as one. Because of Cole's agressive behavior towards his officers, he and the IICO's (Immediate Intervention Corps Operatives) under his command have been ordered to patrol the vast shoreline of the Republic. The men are groaning and sweating under their body armor, but its no use. They have already patrolled 28 Kilometres (17,4 Miles) today and will soon reach a fortified base to rest, but its still quite the march. (B.T.W, if anyone's interested, the Immediate Intervention Corps are basically a mix of Special Forces and Shocktroops. They are better trained than normal soldiers and also have better equipment. The IIC is deployed for example when things are going south in an area of conflict, in order to stabilise the situation or hinder the enemy's advancement by means of sabotage and the such, but can also be used to perform deep strikes into enemy territory. Also, this is my first attempt at a real character, so I hope it works.) -
[GBW] - Free Build - Bellmuttet- Royal Gardens, King's Corner
Mirror1810 replied to TribunM's topic in The Great Brick War
Interesting. I'm definetly looking forward to what you've got brewing there. Also that garden looks amazing, especially the fountain thingy. -
Yeah, kinda. Got inspiration from different vehicles. Also, I'd like to do some real brick builds too, but I just don't have the financial capabilities to buy parts for IRL builds. Studio is the only real way for me to take part in GBW and I'm having a lot of fun. But in order to kind of get on one level with the other participants, I've given myself some rules when building, including not using any copy and paste and only using part colors that really exist, if possible.
