Maybe, or they wanted to give them cool looking comic book type gun instead of those horrible ones from Indiana Jones. Both vehicles appear to fold into driving mode. The car looks like it's stealing from the DeLoriean . Its from the show, but I haven't seen an episode with it in it yet. Maybe we'll get Flash , Green Lantern, or some other heroes in 2014?

Now that we have all the pictures, here's my thoughts: I'm getting all of them. I like all of them for the figures. If we only be the prices.

They both look like it. Both are too large to be 13 dollar sets. Secondly, why is there so many sci if guns this wave? Gordon has one, Beetle has one, now Nick Fury has one?! What the hell?!

His old gun was bigger and looked horrible. This one looks awesome and unique. And if he doesn't have a second goggled face, I'm going to snap and break something.

It's not a D2C that people think we're going to get, it's a set to make things equal. Like Dynamic Duo and Spidey sets, at set that come out of the blue. Like a another Spidey or X-Men set.

They were trying to make him like his comic appearance too, but mostly cartoony. Plus he's supposed to be old, he's like in his 40s. Well, we need a 12 dollar set. So it could be either one. I don't care bout the sets that much, cept if they look decent and they have awesome figures.

His hair is supposed to be dark grey with white sides. The old hair is for his flat top look in the old. He doesn't have a flat top In the new series, so why give him that hairpiece? His new one is supposed to depict long hair combed back. I wish it was printed, but other than that, to me it's accurate. Well, he recorded a message on MJ's new camara, but that's the closest to a physical appearance I've seen. I missed "I Am Spider-Man!", so I don't know if he appears in that. Plus Beetle was trying to kill Jameson not kidnap, but they changed it for the set I know.

He just appears spreading news and masked vigilantes are bad for New York. He hasn't appeared in any episodes physically, just insults Spidey and sits behind a screen. Guess they're trying to tackle cyberbullying. The set he appears in is loosely based on "Beetle Mania", and it's already premiered so that's why he's in the set. Plus I think they wanted to redesign his Lego version, perfect excuse to do it. Anyway here's the picture: Kinda how he looks so Lego is accurate.

It's based on the show, where it's currently the only place calling it DBC, or Daily Bugle Communications. The falling window is based on the on the episode where the whole building is almost blown to smitherines. I like them both, but the new hair is accurate to the show. His head looks like he's smiling when the cowl is on.

Yeah, me too. Bats alternate face sucks, to me Batman doesn't ever smile. Anger is better. But that's just me though.

And that red dude does resemble Chris Bradford.

I agree with Your logic about the cells, but Penguin is also not crazy enough in most depictions to warrant him a cell in Arkham, he's mostly sent to Blackgate as he's depicted as a sort of mobster.

Yeah, I assumed thats why they gave him the gun too. That angry face for JJJ is perfect for "Spider-Man is a menace!". But Nova's face looks like they reused Batman's, as they are in the same style helmets. Nope, same old mold.

Stupid phone auto correct, I hate it. Lego even said on the Cuusoo site that they could make it to celebrate its anniversary, they just have get the license for it. Plus it has a massive fan base of many adult and teens who grew up and love BTTF. Just my two cents.

There's a slight tint of olive green to his mask and armor, so it's kinda accurate. They could have also made a special mold for TDKR Bane, though I think the printed on looks good, I just wish it goes all the way around and connects.

Not much, just means they probbaly fix the cowl going lower than it should problem. I doubt they'd make a new slightly different head, thats just pointless.

Right, but a rounded pieces in general are hard to print on. But I'm sure Lego has come along way in almost 12 years, the new detailed printing on figures proves that. But the also become really detailed in their sets as well.

Which is why I don't get why they didn't do it for Bane. Maybe there still testing it out and Lobot was a perfect test subject?

The Tumbler looks better in person too! Yes it can fit Bane, you lift the top up and insert him. But yeah, they didn't have him in it at CC cuz they wanted to show what he looked like.

Or Riddler or some villan that the could eventually make!
