Well, as there's five sets without names, hope that Mazeka is a titan. Maybe even guy from Order of Mata Nui... Don't know anything 'bout these sets for now. And, well, funny thing. In one of old USSR cartoons was a chharacter named "Gromozeka" Is it a coincidence? Like with Lariska and Lesovikk, whose names also were based on Russian words?

As I recall, Greg has already said that "Trydax" is right. Well, for now my opinion is - that;s just a stupid move, to release Toa every year. They jaust MUST to do them all with a similar design because they're the same species and must be recognisable. That;s why Hordika were - not cool - but interesting. And that's why almost everyone love villain more - villains' species are different every year, so they all look more visual appealing (is that the right word?) than Toa. Oh, well, for now even I am bored with all these Inika clones - I think that new Toa bodies must be released. Not kinda Pohatu's, but completely new. And that lack of pieces.... EVERY year we got LESS pieces - every year every character wear big pieces of armor, big swords, bodies made of one piece... legs an arms made of 3-5 pieces... I hope that later we'll see sets more hard to biuld. Oh, I'm builgind one Exo-Toa for almost 40 minutes, and for Hydraxon I need less that 20 minutes. What happening? But that all doesn't mean that I don't like new sets at all. I definitely going to buy Lewa, Antroz, Tanma and Radiak (because Makuta Spiriah can be build with their pieces), Kopaka (he was my first Toa Mata and Toa Nuva!) and, well, Toa Ignika. Just because of mask. And I'll wait for Icarax and Mutran pictures - maybe they'll be better as titans than Ignika.

I know this. Even my local LEGO office don't know their numbers. Or - don't want to show me that they know! :) Oh, well, now I'll gonna go and try to find other instructions (I've already tried near 100 combinations - nothing at all...)

Why? I think pieces still can be attached to socket joint's sides. Like in Chinese bootlegs. And, well, only I think that Vamprah's face is female?

Many MoCs looks cool... But I discovered strange thing. Many pictures if new sets (for example, Impulse and Castle on main page) are from catalogue that we saw. So... why these people can't photo Phantoka?

Well, we returned from LEGO office near an hour ago. All that I can say - "F*CK!!!" These stupid LEGO people gave this catalogue to someone else. But they gave us glow-in-the-dark Piraka teeth, Barraki-styled lace for player/cell phone, Tohunga Jala and Kongu and Makuta. I think that catalogue would be better, of course. Even Makuta can't replace it. But they said that they'll get another copy later. Hope so - next week we'll go here again. Of course, they answered some our questions and we left them big list of another questions (main question is "what's happening with translations?!" - because we have awful Russian versions, with names like Jeller, Tau (but with Pohatu!) and things like Takua yelling "YO!!" in Mask of Light... But we really wanted to destroy all office :) So, well, have patience and stay tuned. Awful day...

I understand it. Very well understand. That's why I'm here! But if LEGO people learn 'bout this (and they will learn) I will be awfully tormented. And I don't want to be tormented :) But, well, I'll think about it. All Makuta design is based on bas. But they are all different - just all slim and flying, something like this.

I think so. But if I make video with Phantoka, I will upload it from another account :) I can't clearly remember "masks" of Makuta - but I think they all were different. Yup.

1. What? I made a mistake? really? Chirox is black and Vamprah is blue - people thought that black one is Vamprah because of fake picture. Some association chain like "Vamprah->vampire->HE'S BLACK!!!" 2. Only 8697 Toa Ignika - he's titan because of, well, Ignika and his "jet-powered" (really! as said in catalogue!) surfboard. It really big, as I understand. I'll repeat - that was catalogue only for first half o 2008, so there was only 13 sets. 3. Matoran and Makuta and Toa Nuva cans look like Toa Mahri's. Plastic and more like box than canister. But for me they are more attractive than Mahri's. Matoran cans are just smaller than big Phantoka's.

Well, we'll see about these "weapons"... I can hardly believe it too, but I think there's nothing impossible in it. One of our biggest LEGO sellers announced them, so I can't find any reason not to believe this information. About masks - as I remember, ALL OF THEM ARE NEW. Even Matoran - they look very similar to big sets' masks, but slightly different - for example, Tanma's looks like Lewa's, but with some kinda spikes on it (like on Nuparu Inika), Radiak wears mask that resembles me 'bout Avohkii... all of them from distance look like old masks, but they are all different. Oh, maybe I can't remember something, but, as I was told, this week... probably, scans are coming. As I understood (I'm now ill, so can't go anywhere), WHOLE catalog will be scanned. Not only Phantoka pages... But I still don't know what LEGO will say about displaying it to other people :) maybe I will be able to send'em via PM.

Yup. Body color's white, another - grey/silver (it's difficult to seee on little CG-pictures). Wings are grey, as I remember...

Oh, yeah, and I forgot about so-called "big huge more than 40$ sets"... (this info isn't from catalogues - release in second half of 2008, and I trust this information - one of my shops told me) These are called somwhat like "WEAPONS" and they are... well, weapons. If I understood correctly, they are some kind of Bionicle weapon that you'll need to build and put on your hand - like "Spider-Man Web Shooters" or something like that. I don't think that these things will be very popular - only very little children will use this "weapons" as weapons. And the price... more that 50$!

As I recall, it was written in catalogue. That they are members of Brotherhood. And, as was written in Bionicle World book, different Makuta has different style! Makuta of Metru Nui was the most clever and powerful of all of them, so he became this Very Important Makuta - but others can be not so good in using their powers, or something like this...

Well, I don't really think so - there was a big picture in this catalogue, like poster, with big word PHANTOKA on it. And with Ignika eaten by bats!

What can I say? I don't think that Phantoka is new name of Toa Nuva. In catalogue they were labeled simply "Lewa Nuva", for example. Word "PHANTOKA" was written on every box - on Makuta boxes, on Toa Nuva, even on Matoran. I cannot clearly remember what was written on Toa Ignika box, but I think there was no Phantoka lable. My opinion is that this is not "hero" or "enemy" name... maybe some Matoran word that everyone on Karda Nui will call them all - Makuta and toa Nuva. Hope we'll try to get our claws on this catalogue this Thursday of Friday. If Emperor helps us, scans or better quality photos will be released before week ends.

Well, now, I think that's time to reveal some things! I was with Sasha634 and i saw all new sets (but I can't tell where we have been)... Well, text in that catalogue really said about Karda Nui and another good things - all these names are real. Also, I think I'll need to tell you about another sets (we are noe working on getting better pictures, maybe even scans). First... well, there are three Toa and three Makuta in the first half of year, but THAY ALL ARE CALLED Phantoka. That's written on all their boxes. Boxes, by the way, are almost similar to Toa Mahri boxes - not canisters, just boxes. Next... Midak Skyblasters are really looking like mix of Zamor and Cordak - but they have some kind of button on its top. You push the button, and the sphere is launched. I think that these spheres are bigger than zamors, but I can't compare. Next... Trydax Pod, as I recall, are these spheres, but without Midaks. They are launched from Makutas chest - this isn't shown on Chirox pic (no sphere), but launcher can be seen - it's grey piece on his chest/belly. But their spheres are red, and, as said in catalog, "contains shadow leeches" (kraata?). Also, all Makuta designs are based on bats. Well, they are shapeshifters, they can do it. About Matoran - there will be six of them, yaeh, but ALSO IN CONTAINERS. Oh, that's bad - I'm already imagining their price. Their colours: Tanma is green, Solek - white, Photok - orange, Radiak - red (he wears mask that looks like Avohkii), Gavla - blue, and Kirop - black. But what's really important is that YOU CAN COMBINE one Matoran and one big set - for example, Tanma and Lewa. Result looks very like as Lesovikk! But Matoran are UGLY. Kopaka Nuva. I will definitely get HIM. He's not Kopaka I have, but he's still looks cool. His mask looks alike Great Ruru (Toa Whenua's 2004 mask), but with jedi lightsaber attached to it - like telescopic sight. And he has WINGS (like Hahli Mahri's, but without holes). Antroz is red, Chirox is blue... what else can I say? Oh, yes, Toa Ignika. For addition to Kanohi Ignika he also has surfing board - black and COOL. It looks like it's made of Brutaka's swords, Jaller Mahri's sword and Slizer wings (things that now are used in Racer sets). And Ignika's silver, yeah. It's went dark in Ignition 10.
