  1. @powTHX ! I think the cracking noise belongs to the linear actuator. Your bricklink link is a technic pin ? Maybe that´s what you meant, the technic gear 24 with clutch ? Next version maybe comes with a servo motor, next summer. Jumhansen
  2. @johnnymTHX ! You are right, the steering is a little bit slow, or the pool is too small. Maybe i try a servo motor next poolseason. If you want to use this pontoons, seal them with tape (e.g. tesa-film), because they are not 100% tight. I´ve made a lego trimaran with underwater propellers, using one buwizz and two buggymotors. This worked pretty good using the tracked steering module in the buwizz app. You can find a video on my YT-chanel. Jumhansen
  3. Hello everyone, i know that the summer is already gone, but maybe someone likes to what my video from the last project during the poolseason. The propeller - boat is powered by a buwizz 2,0 and a buggymotor, Propeller is the partnumber 89509 . @Jurss Thank you for showing me that part. [media] [media] Enjoy. Jumhansen
  4. @Tazmancrash this prop looks nice, maybe a little bit too small for my project. Johan
  5. @Jurss Propeller with Partnumber 89509 arrived today. Found nothing on bricklink in germany. So i bought a whole new set 45400 . We`ll see what happens. Johan
  6. @amorti . Maybe i will try to make instructions some day, but it seems to be very time consuming. First of all i will improve my video making skills. I am very pleased that you all like my small funny creations. Johan
  7. @Jurss the white blade i have seen on rebrickable but it seems to be an expensive part and maybe a little bit to big. We will see. Johan
  8. THX. Sorry but I have never created a guide before. Johan @amorti THX. You are right, 2 buggymotors is oversized. I had this tracked already built, so i take this, and gear down the twins. Using the ludicrous mode is also impossible. Johan
  9. @Davidz90, i also was very surprised that this small sunday afternoon moc performed so nice, so i made a short video, quick and dirty. But there were only a few Lego parts installed. Wait, i´ll quickly go to the kitchen to weigh it: Weight is ~440 gr with fully loaded buwizz. Your are right, the acceleration improves when it picks up some speed, but i have also switched from "fast to ludicrous" mode. My next thought was to build a ring, surrounding the propeller, to improve the airflow and speed ! Something like this: My Wife said: This will also provide damages to the furniture. OKAY I call that a real "win - win situation" ! More performance, perhaps, more safety sure. Have fun ! Johan
  10. Hey everyone. Today it´s again stormy an rainy on this sunday afternoon. So i decided to build something with "wind". Just put some parts together, as a proof of concept. Unfortunately i don´t have any propeller in stock. I toke 4 Panels Nr. 5 to build a propeller, but it can only drive forwards. ;-) I think i will keep this idea in mind for a boat project next pool season. 1x Buwizz 2.0 1x Buggymotor, gear up 3:1 1x Servomotor Video: Have fun. Johan
  11. Hey everyone. During the winter, my twins got a bit bored from the pedal boat without their pool. So i decided to built a new vehicle for them. "Lego twins tracked tandem". It is based on the Lego 42065 Tracked Racer and RacingBrick´s MOC-21313 on rebrickable. So here is my work from the last couple of weeks. Details: Weight: ~950 gr. LxBxH: ~27cm x 18cm x 28cm Number of parts: I did not count them 2x buggymotors, 1x buwizz 2.0 Using the tracked steering module Photo´s: Video: Maybe someone has already seen it on my youtube channel. Have fun. Johan
  12. @MajklSpajkl The buoyancy was a real problem. The pedalboat won´t swim with only two floats and a battery box so i decided to build a trimaran (3 floats) with an non Lego accubox. Here are some photos: Some parts in the modell have already been removed, i needed them for other project´s. Johan @amorti, bricksafe work´s fine. Thank you ! Johan
  13. @amorti , thx for your tip and link to bricksafe. I will try this because it sounds good picking suitable photo-size for the forum. Johan
  14. @amorti , i´ve read in the eurobricks faq to upload photos i need a photo-hoster e.g. brickshelf, flickr etc. I tried to make a new account on brickshelf to upload some photo´s, but at the moment it is impossible to create a new account (currently disabled). So i will try it with flickr. But frist i have to make some detailed photos. This will take a few more days, stay tuned. BTW i´ll start a new thread showing another lego trimaran from last summer. Johan
  15. Thanks for the compliments. Unfortunately I didn't create any instructions. But this was a very simple built. I can try to make some detailed photo´s. Johan
  16. Hey everyone, this is my first thread in the eurobricks forum. So i want to show you one of my first moc´s from the last year during the pool season. Have fun. Johan
  17. Hello everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself here, since i signed in yesterday. Real name: Johan Residence: In the middle of germany near Kassel Age: 5O+ Job: CAD-drafter in an architecture office I restarted my hobby ~12 months ago, due to the corona crisis, with two boxes full of old lego bricks and old lego technic parts from my childhood. I realized very quickly that I want to build only technic models, with motors, wheels, tracks, gearings a.s.o. So i dicided to buy some set´s from Cada, Mouldking and some used older Lego technic set´s, to get more parts. So sometimes i build a new or secondhand set, but i really want to build my own funny moc`s. Last summer, during the pool season, i´ve built my first two moc´s for the pool. Regards Johan
