I'm in the US and bricks & pieces hasn't changed yet (that I've noticed). Just watched a SW Bricks and Figs video which he examines the changes. I'm concerned that once the change takes place here I will regret not buying more parts before it happens. Prices will of course vary a little but I'm worried that lots of parts will no longer be available For those in areas where the change has already happened are you noticing lots of interesting parts that are no longer available? Thanks! Also does anyone know when the change will happen in the US?

Yes. They do. Nothing spectacular but yes. You bring up a good point with lots of Mario characters being "nonhuman." That would be tricky/expensive. LEGO was generous with molds in the Sesame Street set but unfortunately so many significant new molds in a new cmf series could be a problem. But again I'm guessing Muppets will include lots of new molds.

In hindsight I was a little too harsh judging the Daily Bugle build. I agree with "I find it very nice for what it's trying to do." I'm very appreciative of the direction LEGO took with this one.

I would love this! Vignettes with each would be really interesting also! Hunchback of Notre Dame and Phantom of the Opera would be really interesting. I hadn't considered Van Helsing. Invisible Man could be a really fun minifigure

Modular buildings are some of my fave sets so I've been eagerly anticipating the reveal of a Sanctum Santorium. With discussions of the minifigs I'm suddenly realizing that it might not be as detailed or interesting as I would like considering it will include so many minifigs. A typical modular building set has what 4 or more UNLICENSED minifigs? If the Sanctum Santorium is around $210 US and including so many minifigs that concerns me slightly. Many reference the minifigs/characters in the Daily Bugle BUT that is a much more expensive set and altho the build is ..good.. it is exclusive characters like Daredevil that make me consider buying the Daily Bugle (and so far I've resisted the purchase). Fingers crossed I won't be disappointed with the Sanctum Santorium.

I would love Universal Monster minifigs but don't see it having enough appeal unless they cross with other themes. I apologize for possibly derailing the thread again. Monsters worked well with Hidden Side, Scooby Doo and Monster Fighter sets (or is it Hunters?) Some of my fave cmfs in the past were the monsters. Would love (and here again I possibly derail the topic) Scooby Doo crossovers. The show often had crossovers with monsters, celebs and even Batman. Fantastic missed opportunity

Was it Knex that made Mario sets years ago? Both karts/bikes with characters and tracks and sets. I most prefer cmf blindbags of actual minifigures BUT would also buy Mario version of sets similar to Speed Champions with a Mario minifig in each. Speed Champion sets can be a little more advanced tho. It's possible LEGO already considered this and ruled it out bc they THOUGHT Mario would appeal to a younger demographic and not an older crowd that would prefer more Speed Champ-esque building challenges.

Had wondered if others have (past or present) been successfully ordering elephant bodies by phone while I'm just constantly checking online to see if available I had problems redeeming the collector coins so I called customer service. Asked about Elephant bodies. I think this was mid-late Nov. Agent said out of stock or backordered but expected available Dec 18 (or was it Dec 15?). He could add them to my order no problem. BUT about a week later I received email stating that elephant bodies weren't available and they were cancelled 😭 So yes I do wonder if sometimes it depends upon the customer service agent we talk with. Although mine was fantastic but it didnt work out for me. Perhaps just the timing as well? 🤷‍♂️

Thanks fastlindyrick and everyone for sharing interesting parts and in stock availability! I noticed about a week ago that the Elephant body has a price listed ($8.07) on US bricks&pieces. At some point in the past it was $0.00. Hopefully this means it'll be more readily available in the future. Perhaps not 🤷‍♂️ Please share if you notice it available in the future. I need 3 and have never managed to snag any (even phone call order resulted in them being cancelled days later).

Received order from Dec 21st today. I don't recall ordering this part. Do remember searching for it but either it wasn't offered or was too expensive. I searched by set # today and it doesn't appear at all 5 of these arrived with my order and I don't see it on my receipt/invoice.
