I’ve kind of been off with the whole SW theme of late for ages I couldn’t really think why. But over Christmas had a proper chance to get all my collection out, all my figures and (very sadly) do like an audit see what I actually have and I think I’m near a point now where I’m happy with what I’ve got. I’ve been collecting since AOTC came out when I was a kid and I’m at a point now I’m only interested in things that haven’t been done before or something from new series/shows. Unless what’s coming out is imo an upgrade to what I already have I just don’t have any interest now. I don’t think it’s because of Disney/lucasfilm or even Lego themselves I think I’ve just got what I want. My wish list at this point is for things that seem unlikely to come out (and is not for this thread) but I just have so little desire for a lot of sets now because I already have them. like this years clone bp im only interested in half of it so probably going to look on eBay/bricklink for the half i want. I want the cob vanth set but apart from that i dont really care. The rumors for March again leave me with next to no interest as again I’ve got all those figures already. I’m looking forward to May, June and August as I’m hoping we gets some sets from Ahsoka and Mando film but outside of them I just meh. I thought I’d be sad about it but tbh I’m actually quite happy/proud of my collection. My daughter is 3 and she got her first Lego sets for Christmas and my aim now is to build a collection for her based on what she likes now for example the Mando and Grogu speeder is the kind of thing I’m hoping she might like one day so might pick one up and leave it in a loft for when she’s older. I fear for my wallets and sanity as I’ve fully have the castle/ modular itch so feel like I’m trading one expesnive habit for another

I just saw a teaser video. People in the comments thought it was Lego dimensions 2 lmao what a way to disappoint the masses. Yeah I reckon we will know all of March wave tonight

Damn your very quick only just seen the Reddit post as well. It was kind of obvious and inevitable that we would get one curious how the Grogu will be! That won’t be exclusive for long. Can only imagine there being Mando, Grogu and maybe R5

There are a few locations it could work but like you say HP is just different as hogwarts it just works. They’ve done it since the original 2000s waves. Even though it’s the same castle every year they go back something different happens every year in different locations involving different characters so they can get away with doing it over and over again

For Harry Potter while they seem to remake sets regularly in reality the sets are different they can remake the main hall and a side building base if off of one of the 7 book/8 films and it include different features and characters and it would still be bringing something new. Where it is mainly about the castle you’re going to get loads of hogwarts sets. Whereas Star Wars it’s about the ships most of the time. HP does suffer from night bus and ford anglia fatigue but I admire the way HP goes about combining the sets to create a big castle. Star Wars and castle are expensive enough to follow but if I could I’d definitely get HP sets as well but I just have to admire them. TBH with the HBO series coming I can imagine they can start again and base it off the series and not the films

I noticed Amazon has the night troopers at 13.50 (about 25% off) most of this years sets I’ve managed to pick up on around about the 25% off mark. Managed to get the two big clone sets for under a 100 each as well. January I’m optimistic about there’s a few things that look interesting. But the growing Castle fan in me is saving all my Lego funds atm for when a few figures drop on PAB about then so it’ll be another sale I’ll wait for. Getting to the point though where I’m saving up getting sets until I find out what May the 4th promos they have. with regards to the clone vs Mando bp do we know what the build is yet? I know it doesn’t mean much in the grand scheme of things but no detail has come out yet (at least none that I can see) I’ve no interest in these clones so may just pick the mandolorians up on eBay/bricklink.

Anyone else ever think the nature of leaks are so random, like Stranger things set which is Jan 2026 has leaked yet two sets which are November releases haven’t had anything official yet. must mean official pics of other January sets are in the wind hopefully won’t be long til we see the SW ones

Didn’t even think of that. Even accidental damage is going to break these more than likely. List of extra figures sounds like whole lot of OT sets but looks like I’m avoiding them and these smart bricks. trying to figure out what sets would include these. Maybe a cantina, yodas hut, obviously the two fighters, just where would Palpatine fit in? Unless he comes with the TIE advanced. probably saving the prequels and clones for a second wave of these

I can’t believe that the 187th and tank have not gone up I bought one at retail when it came out and picked up two on separate auctions on eBay at similar price. Managed to pick up a dozen of the regular purple guys as I like them, but kind of happy that there price is low long may it continue. Just hope those galactic marines come down in price at some point because there prices at the moment are crazy. I’ve been a bit out of the loop with SW news been focusing more on my castle collection as it brings me more peace and satisfaction these days. Have there been any more leaks since we got peak at that hideous x wing.

So if they have revealed March sets already 6 months before release. They probably/likely have pics of all the January and March sets so don’t expect it will be too long before more official pics start to get leaked a bit. Instead of individual legs, arms and helmets

For anyone in the U.K. who was wanting some of the summer sets and not happy to pay full price Very have got a good sale on. Just picked up the MTT, CTT and the battle pack all about 30% off. Which for me I think for now is probably the lowest they’ll go for a while. It’s very rare to see LSW sets go much lower than 30% off unless they are absolute garbage (4+ sets I’m talking about you).

I agree BUT the last time a particular vehicle was featured so prominently in trailers and released materials and posters, Lego forgot to make the set. Hoping 2026/7 they’ll remember to make that TIE Avenger!
