  1. Absolutely true, the hexagonal look makes it much more real, but I only have those parts in red unfortunately... The sun visors in the real roadster Sian give the topview of the windscreen frame extra body and are a designfeature, so that's why I included them too 😂
  2. Thanks but it’s far from done😁 I’m working on the diffusor and exhaust’s of the car now… Thanks! Really liked a lot of your work on the model and the instructions you did. Great inspiration to start modding the Sian! still tinkering on the interior, trying out several things, like sun-visors, steering wheel tilted up (and airbag), gas/break pedals, etc…
  3. Modded The Sian into the Roadster version. Added a full interior to make it more realistic. loved the build itself and will probably keep tinkering with it 😄
  4. will make some close up’s tomorrow, quite a big mod, made a complete redesign of the swingarm.
  5. Trying out some first small mods before I take it apart to make my own MOC Yamaha R1 - Adapted clip-ons break / clutch handles, brake canister and Triple tree clamp Haha, mirrors are work in progress😆 - First experiment altered front fender (don’t like the original)
  6. Great review! Just finished building this model myself, loved the build and the solutions that were used. I think it's a great set to start build Motorcycle MOC's with. Haven't put most of the sticker on the model because next week I will take it apart and start building my own Yamaha R1 version. In the picture you can see my Ducati scale MOC Yamaha R1 together with the BMW, as an before picture!
  7. Just new to the forum, and wanted to show my (heavily) modded version of the Ducati Found the basic Lego model very cool start for improvement! Looked at a lot off ideas of everything posted here and added my own ideas too. - Rear shock rebuild to fit more like original Bike - Rear end: tail light, seat, number plate, rear sets with brake and shift, mudguard reworked, etc, etc - Modded tank and fairing details, replaced rubber bands with gears, and other engine details, etc - Front Mudguard with brakes, modded clip-ons with brake handles and Brake lines/ steering damper, mirrors, etc, etc can't even remember all the mods, haha enjoyed it so much that I also build my own 2005 Yamaha R1 in the same scale, It's a completely different build, with its own frame setup, 4cilinder inline engine (with same gearbox as ducati) and only taking some small ideas from the original Ducati set. (Carbon Parts are fake, but the rest is all real Lego)
