Here are some pictures of the shorter side and the street lights installed. I hope Tudor Corner will fit where the red baseplate is right now next to the Botanical Garden. Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

It looks like Fire Brigade, Palace Cinema and a Junior set thrown together. I did get it eventually but it's in the most secluded spot in my city layout. -

With that stair on the left side the footprint of the building will probably be rather small. I'm not exactly wowed by it but I think it will fit rather nicely in the only free corner spot in my city layout wedged between Assembly Square and Botanical Garden. -

I guess the first leaker simply ran with Jang's prediction? -
Took me longer than expected but I finally got my custom-made sideboard. After much reshuffling I settled on an L shaped layout. The longer side is 13x3 baseplates, the shorter side is 7x2 baseplates. In total 53 baseplates. Natural History Museum is on two baseplates so it has some space on each side. It looked too cramped right next to other modulars and I had to get on an even baseplate count anyway. To even out the 1.5 baseplates of Assembly Square I'm going to build an elevator between Palace Cinema and Downtown Diner. This will lead to an upper city level (using the window sill). The longer side is almost finished. Next steps will be building the Botanical Garden, the Elevator, and a footbridge and completing street lights with a cheap LED string. I'm thinking about installing a grid on the ceiling so I can hang down helicopters etc.

Let me rephrase it then. The pictures in the reviews did the trick. -

After reading two reviews, I'm sold on the Botanical Garden. May wait a bit and see if price goes down or double VIP, but I've already ordered all necessary parts (road plate with curve and parts for sidewalk) to integrate it in my city. -

I like the Botanical Garden way more than the Mansion. Integration in a modular setup should be fairly easy. Maybe at the end of a street: Corner Building - Botanical Garden Curved Road Plate - Botanical Garden -

Eww, the X-Men mansion really can't be placed next to any modular. I have an unused windowsill behind my city setup and a half baseplate spareroom due to Assembly Square. Might work to build a staircase/escalator on that half plate and put the mansion on the windowsill apart from all the bigger modulars. Facade and lawn look a bit lackluster so maybe I skip it. Need to see it IRL. -

My first attempt to have the problem fixed failed. I received a couple of white tiles instead of plates from TLG. -

On closer inspection I have a similar problem with the Jazz Club. Doesn't bother me as much for the Museum as I plan to center it on two full baseplates: -

Does anyone else have the problem that the white plates at the base of the first floor slightly stick out so you can't properly put buildings next to the museum? -

I'm a bit mystified by the two 1x4 plates with 2 studs behind the ad banners. They don't connect to the roof and I had to tripple check if I had made a mistake.
