I had a choice, to enter this contest or Hinckley's neighbourhood contest. I figured I would enter this one because Hinckley has been a bit mean to captain green hair *n* . Only kidding :-P . I entered this one because I wanted to try building something I had never built before - nothing personal Here is my entry... I should really stress that this is my first pirate/ship MOC so please go easy on me X-D ... I present to you HMS Rapide: The back The Captain The Deckhands Figurehead The cabin - contains chair, table, two maps, key, goblet and a barel full of cutlasses. Captain and sailor posing The ship also has a removable deck with supplies beneath it. For more pictures - gallery (when public) This has been surprisingly fun to build and has opened my eyes to the whole pirate theme. Good luck to other contestants. -Benk

OK just to clear things up, the anubis statues are definitely 100% in the film, in fact there are four of them - (trust me I am a huge indy fan) :-$ sorrry to be so blunt but I think you need to research a little when you start saying things like Before you are sure. -Benk

I use those at the moment but I was looking for a more general one without ropes and knives and things on it. thanks anyway :-) . I am creating my own decal now (it is still a WIP) I just need to smooth the edges front Back -Benk

Does anyone know if there is a good tactical vest decal? It would mean an awful lot to me somthing like this -Benk

Thanks Sinner Quite right :-D , When I had finished building it I did think 'hey, this just looks like a general mech' but after spending that long building it I wasnt prepared to go all the way back to the frame so I just left it. I am pleased with the frame (One of my best ever) and will probably write it down or just keep it for future mechs. Thanks again everyone :-) -Benk

I voted for hinckley on the resemblence of fig because before I even read what his entry was I could tell straight away it was copmike and it was so well made *y* *y* The second poll I had to think about a bit more :-/ . They were all great mechs but I think Shakar-special was indeed very well built so it gets my vote. :-) *y* well done to everyone that has entered. -Benk

great mech hinckley *y* I'm glad that you liked my entry everyone but it shouldnt stop you entering. I feel a bit bad now X-D . I build mechs all the time and if you could see some of my first you would burst out laughing - literally :-$ Anyway its a bit late now so good luck to other contestants :-) -Benk

Thanks chuck :-$ I actually gave you credit on my first sigfig post here. I would never ever ever not give credit where it is due, I just thought it a bit silly to post it on every one of my posts. I do think your fig is awsome and I do not want to take that away from you so sorry again X-D -Benk

:-D I finally took pictures of my sig fig. WWIII marine You should probably know that my sig fig does change about once every 6 months but I do use the same face on each one (Until one I Prefer comes out X-D ) and that the band looped across the front of him was inspired by Chuck's Marcus Fenix. without further ado... his back - bit blurry his gun without gun Feel free to criticize and/or make suggestions thanks -Benk EDIT: I am curently working on the EB sig fig mech contest

Hello to all, my name is Ben Knowles. I joined back in September but have been sooooooo busy I just kinda forgot to introduce myself :-| . Anyway, ever since I was 2 or 3 I have been heavily into lego and over the years have built a huge collection, now my room practically made of the stuff. I collect all the lego my pockets can afford which includes most themes, but mostly I collect: Creator, Starwars, Exo-force, City and Technics.(not in that order) I mostly build mechs, cars and dioramas(big and small). I just thought I'd say hi as you may see alot more of me. I have found my home. EDIT:I think I used 'mostly' a bit much
