  1. I actually don’t like 2013’s wave that much personally, so if it’s real I like what we’re getting here more. UCS Venator > Ewok Village any day
  2. also the engines being longer and sticking out more. ISD was able to get away with solutions that didn’t require many pieces, a Venator wouldn't and would probably need engines similar to something like the UCS X-Wing
  3. I think the Venator lines up size/piece count wise considering it’s smaller than an ISD but also has a bunch of red markings and more unconventional shapes than an ISD. I could definitely see it having more pieces than the ISD
  4. I’m definitely giving it a day, but honestly, the minifigure selection actually makes it more believable to me. The Hoth scout troopers and 187th ended up being completely real, so the out there minifig selection actually makes it feel more real to me, plus I actually do think the Venator’s piece count and price adds up. The Venator is smaller than an ISD, and it has a bunch of detailing that the ISD doesn’t have. Again, not believing anything until tomorrow, but the “leaks” actually do add up a bit
  5. Crest looks like a combination of all the minifig scale mocs of it. Pretty good, will buy at some point, I still think the AT-AT from last year is better though. I really want to display it with the falcon for some reason, even if the ships literally have nothing to do with each other
  6. I still think AT-TE and Justifier should’ve switched price points considering how poorly the justifier uses it’s space. A big 08 size AT-TE with an all new build, even more interior space and possibly an AT-RT included would’ve been way better than either set we have now
  7. Actually really banking on people selling figless AT-TE’s. Getting a relatively cheap AT-TE and filling it up with 501st troopers sounds great. I’d also say p2 Cody might be a bit saturated too by people who want to buy multiple AT-TE’s for their army.
  8. UCS MF actually isn’t on the site at all, as well as most the d2c like the Cantina, so it could still get an increase. Honestly, I’d wager it will be a bigger one than the AT-AT too and be like $100 more considering the fact it’s not only older, but bigger in mass than the AT-AT is overall.
  9. Really hard to imagine Rex not coming in the next couple years now that we have the Phase II helmet with holes. It’s only a matter of time now
  10. Definitely $20 overpriced and Lego knows it. Gotta say tho, from a business standpoint, the AT-TE was literally the best possible set you could do that to, literally the definition of “it’ll sell anyway” Can’t wait for the inevitable $180+ playscale Gunship in the next couple of years
  11. I'm looking at them and... yeah I really think they should've went for a $140 Justifier and $160 AT-TE AT-TE is way too small and too similar to the 2013 version, and the Justifier looks like it's way too stretched out and doesn't make very good use of it's space. Actually seeing them, I really would've rathered a downscaled $140 Justifier and a big 2008 sized $160 AT-TE
  12. I prefer it, I’d rather have a consistent clone army rather than having 2 separate types of clones personally.
  13. I'm just waiting on the AT-TE itself. Cody looks absolutely amazing, but I'm not really all that thrilled with the descriptions of the set itself so far. I'm hoping for a pleasant surprise, but I'm not gonna count on it, and ultimately, it's not gonna stop me from getting it just for Cody
  14. Pretty sure it’s because Lego is going for a more uniform look for the clones, so it combines the 2 looks rather than making them specifically for either TCW or ROTS
  15. Not really the comparison i’d make for that. Promobricks says it’s the size of the playscale falcon, which is pretty in line with $160 (or i guess $170 now but you know what I mean), It’s just a really niche thing to pick for the price point. The AT-TE from what we’ve been hearing about it, honestly sounds more overpriced than the Justifier does.
