  1. Not per se, but they could be mixing different aspects. Cap uses a motorcycle in multiple scenes, Cap, BW, Falcon and WS have the bridge chase. I could maybe see it from Civil War when they are in the market area since BW had a bike and was chasing the guy with the virus. But I am praying for a WS set and not just a remake of the Crossbones Hazard Heist
  2. Don't forget the Iron Man helmet piece also introduced in the Iron Man Armory
  3. Wait how did we find the Marvels set piece count? Did someone post and delete their comment?
  4. I think the only weird ones were Spidey and Venom because they don't have the same human-like body compared to a suit. I also think that most just prefer locations/ship builds with minifigs over buildable figures that are only targeted to young kids and can't really be displayed. Added on the fact that it's basically a mech variation makes it worse. Now we have 8 mechs and 3 buildable figs a year LOL
  5. I had a thought, what if LEGO ends up doing a $200 Liberty Battle set (lets say the rumor is true), and then a set based on Raimi Trilogy and one on Garfield trilogy. Collectors get the figs and they could brand it under multiverse saga sets.
  6. If sandman / lizard aren't in the $200 set, I could see LEGO doing 2-3 NWH sets all compiling into the liberty statue. Like electro and big sandman in a set, doc ock spidey and goblin on bridge and then final set has repeat goblin, lizard, DS and andrew / tobey
  7. My guesses are Brickheadz or Mighty Micros
  8. To be fair, when we've seen a modular in the past two years, there was at least 1 set with figures "teasing" it. The sanctum had the Gargantos Showdown and the Bugle had all of those spidey sets. While they probably still would've released, the less exclusive fig count the more figs (especially when you consider additional leg printing) I could see a November / Late Summer Avengers tower modular and have it include all the 2012 avengers from January, and Hawkeye, Hulk, chitari, nick fury, maria hill, pepper, maybe some others. You also have to think sets are planned 1-2 years in advance, so we likely won't see the repercussions from BP bust and Hulkbuster this year, which means another $500 set isn't completely off the table
  9. My assumption is a double sided face, similar to Iron Man / Tony Stark. One side is maskless, other side has printed blue area. I hope they included two heads tho Edit: wish -> hope
  10. Modular 100%. We've gotten a modular in mid-year for the past 2 years and both have (supposedly) sold very well. With the Quinjet in the January Wave, I would not throw the idea of a Avengers Tower Modular out of contention. When you consider that we had 3x $250+ sets this past year and that sets are planned 1-3 years in advance, it's pretty likely that something similar could go on in 2023. And it doesn't seem like a whole lot of budget is going to DC (as of right now)
  11. Nah I agree with his point. LEGO has (somewhat) changed their pricing style, we're seeing them upcharge sets because of inflation and because they want more money. We saw how the Modular Sanctum was initially $200 but then upcharged to $250 when the price inflations started happening. So while the AoU quinjet would be $100 in current day USD from $80, you also have to account for LEGO's own inflation, which would probably place that set at $120 if it was made. While it might be longer for LEGO to produce designs and mass produce, usually sets take years to conceptualize and make, this is perfect timing. With The Marvels getting 1 set that opens up the latter half of 2023 and a large portion of the budget. We could potentially see a wave similar to BP Wakanda Forever (timeframe and set quantity) I think, as previously speculated, that a $30 set could be very very similar to Gargantos Showdown. We could see the 3 figs being Antman, Wasp, Kang, with the Gargantos-comparison being Modok? I could see them throwing in a side build but this would be best case scenario especially with the price increases. Maybe we see Stature and no side-build, I feel like the set needs to be like the BP 2018 wave at the least tho :( Imagine if it was, we get a set with Wasp, Ant-grandparents, Modok with a ship build (Royal talon fighter) and then we get a Kang, Antman, stature final battle set (Rhino faceoff by the mine)
  12. I'm gonna have to disagree on this one. I think a lot of people would have preferred them split this set up into 2 large UCS sets. If they were going to do another UCS Hulkbuster, I'd have preferred them to do a basically rerelease of the 2018 one similar to the 2014 / 2021 Tumbler. I think the fact that this is the most expensive Marvel set, and it's not absolutely perfect and there really isn't any exclusivity with it is massively disappointing. You gotta think about this like the BP Bust too. Sure, there may be an audience / market for it, but the fact that you could have made an even better version that's smaller is a disappointment. I think we would have been fine with a smaller wave. Get a $200/$250 Hulkbuster, a $70 Bust alongside the BP WF sets, and then you have the budget and room for a few sets over the summer. Fact of the matter is that a lot of that target market is ostracized for both of the major Marvel UCS sets this year because 99% of the fanbase would have been fine with a smaller, more accurate model. I admit the 99% isn't probably the target market, but if simply lowering the scale & price of the model would make that target market bigger and happier with the set not being 100% perfect because you aren't paying half a grand for a wonky build. I don't think anyone cares to put the poorly designed Iron Man figure inside and on top of that the minifigure, while sure it's behind a paywall, is massively disappointing for a set that could have included a highly detailed figure. Edit 1: Underlined part in paragraph 2
  13. Wait do we have pictures??
  14. Nope. The Marvels is the female movie based around Captain Marvel, Ms Marvel, and Photon. There was a rumored all-female superhero movie but it's not the Marvels
  15. Got my Daily Bugle earlier today. Are there supposed to be tiny gaps between the wall pieces? I'm assuming it's just the natural distance between bricks?
