I actually think the legs look completely fine aslong as you don't remove the print from the actual centre that connects both legs. You could argue that it looks like the pattern not continuing looks bad but I think it just looks like the waistband of his trousers is a solid colour which isn't uncommon on those pajamas.

That was part of Kamala's charm tho, she idolised Carol and wanted to emulate her hero persona despite having powers on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. She was a goofy kid who didn't fully consider the logistics of trying to be the 2nd Ms. Marvel without even slightly similar powers because she was just so excited to have powers at all. Giving her energy blast powers to make the connection more logical takes away from that imo.

I've seen a bunch of people theorising that her powers might have been changed for Reed but honestly I don't see that being the reason. We probably won't see the Fantastic Four in the mcu for a long time so they wouldn't debut even remotely close to eachother and the fact Kamala's replacement powers are just going to be energy hands which are the most generic thing ever already shows they don't particularly care about power overlap. I think if the change is happening it'll be related to her actual powers testing poorly or them scrapping the idea before development even started because they didn't think they could pull it off.

I feel like Reed is probably too iconic for them to change, as popular as Kamala is she's still pretty much a no-name to the average MCU fan whereas I think most people understand the power sets of the FF. As for the possibility this will get picked up in comics thankfully I doubt it. They've gotten much less annoying with forcing changes in comics for movie synergy recently so I doubt they'd do something pointless like that. Even if they do it, if Peter Quill can escape the Gunnification Kamala would probably get her powers back fairly quickly. Getting a neutral arms Kamala will be pretty nice tho.

That's super lame if they go through with it. Her powers would be pretty hard to make look good in live action but I'd rather they look janky than just giving Kamala generic laser hand powers. I really like her MCU design so far too so it's a shame minifigs of it won't get use out of the extended arm piece.

Spidey looks great, I'm not the biggest fan of the tech detailing on the legs/arms of these MCU suits but I'm a huge fan of exposed Web shooters and cartridges on Spidey suits so overall I'd say this is my favourite MCU design so I'll gladly take it. Sylvie is fine. I assume she'll have a cape which might make her look better but given that she was my most anticipated character in the wave I can't help but feel a little let down that she's just fine. Especially next to Spidey.

Oh man all 3 of these Spidey sets are great. New Sanctum set to add to my Doctor Strange collection, a Doctor Strange minifigure with a robe design I actually think looks okay (although I still desperately just want a comic one), new wong always good! Getting a black/red Spidey suit finally is great since it's my favourite colour scheme for him, not really a fan of the big gold spider emblem on the NWH suit but that's not Lego's fault.

Wanda looks great, the only thing I'm not a fan of is the print on her hair piece leaving so much of the hair colour around the tiara. Hope SamCap leaks soon.

Do you guys think we'll see a set or something loosely based off the Eidos guardians game like we did with the avengers? I really like most of the designs so far, especially Starlord's helmet. It's a longshot but Starlord also has his Dan Abnett 2008 costume and the outfits from Al Ewing's most recent guardian's stuff in that game, all comic designs I'd absolutely do anything to see as minifigs.

I'd kill to get Strange's costume from the park as a minifig. It's so much better than his actual movie costume.

I'm actually surprised they didn't just reuse that piece for him. Seems too perfect to miss that opportunity.

The closest I can think of for the Sentinel Vs X-men Magneto is the calculator legs from LBM cmf. Those are the wrong shade of purple tho and have lines printed down the side too so they're pretty much useless. (I love that minifig tho) I've never seen the cyclops in person so maybe the colours would be too drastically different but dark blue and yellow legs definitely exist if you were willing to compromise a little.

Unrelated to the current sets but do you guys know if any minifig has ever come with dual molded red/purple legs? I want to give Magneto boots but I can't find or recall any myself.

To be fair kids actually do love the robots. As much as alot of us are bored of them and we're especially not excited to see 3 really similar iron man mechs on shelves this year a bunch of kids will see those same shelves as heaven on earth.

I had the exact same thought looking through the Star Wars sets. I'm glad Star Wars gets such beautiful figs but I would kill for Marvel to get that budget. I assume it's probably got something to do with Lego Star Wars being a money printing machine.

I can see that but I think I'd still prefer red printing on blue legs personally just because dual molded legs wouldn't capture the line detailing that I really like from that suit.

I feel like the Sanctuary II CM minifig really needed leg printing. The plain blue legs and arms are just too much blue for me and it really overpowers the pretty good torso. Thanos looks surprisingly great tho it's just a shame the only thing I would have actually wanted from the set was the Endgame Carol.

The size isn't what I anticipate might bug me honestly it's mostly the transition from the Sanctum being a facade and the bugle being a full building.

Does anyone know if there's any videos/pics showing the bugle next to the Infinity War Sanctum Sanctorum? Right now I have that set displayed as a Spider-man vs sinister six diorama and I think it'd be cool to combine both instead of completely replacing it but I want to know if the shift from facade to full building or the size difference is too jarring before I start making plans.

Not really modifying but I plan on swapping Ock, Goblin and Sandman out for older variants because the current ones aren't my preferred looks. Classic MJ has had tons of merchandise since the MCU spidey movies started coming out, she's gotten atleast 1 new ML figure fairly recently. This theory feels kinda tinfoil hat-ish to me, like something one of those youtubers who complain about politics in video games would make up.

Honestly I agree that alot of stuff companies do during pride can feel pretty disingenuous but if Ashton personally had a hand in getting this set out and possibly developing it, I don't see how this is different than say a movie or album made by an LGBTQ+ person as a labour of love/passion that also happens to be sold for profit. Also as much as I'm jaded to companies using pride imagery as a marketing gimmick it does feel nice to have one of the biggest toy brands in the world put out a product that directly references the colours of the Trans pride flag.

If we could get some kind of Kingpin's penthouse set that's just a 1 room playset with Daredevil, Bullseye (the black/white legs are already perfect for him) and Kingpin it would be amazing. Spidey would need to be thrown in too I imagine. Editing onto this to avoid clogging the thread : does anyone know the piece number for mysterio's Green trail thing? Someone mentioned earlier it was availability on PAB.

I don't have any proper modulars so I'll fit it onto my shelf that so far just has bridge battle and the infinity war Sanctum Sanctorum. Right now that set is in a corner to hide that it's just a facade tho so it'll be a hassle finding out how to fit the Bugle in while keeping the Sanctum from looking flat by comparison.

What would a GWP for this set even be if it got one? Maybe a microbuild of the full set similar to how the UCS Batmobile came with a minifig scale Bamobile? Also let's hope Firestar is the first of many mutants we see these next few years. Maybe even D2C X-mansion if we promise to all be very good
