Chris moves forward and attacks the Skeleton Knight from the front row.

"Stay behind me girl, I'll protect you" Chris says moving over towards Skuld. "Don't worry, We'll do whatever we can to save Shaun."

Chris came out from behind the boulder that he hadn't been hideing behind and moved towards the vent.

Chris snaps back into reality after being mezmorized, by the awe-inspiring dragon. He belatedly takes in everything that was just said between the Dragon and party. "What? Killed a Dragon? But I havn't even...." His voice trails off aimlessly as he realizes what Guts was trying to do. "Sir Guts" he whispers through gritted teeth mashed into what was supposed to be a smile "I don't think that approach is going is going to work. Please, by all the gods, stop antagonizing it." He took in sharp breath, he gussed that now wouldn't be a particurly oppertune momnent to confess his accute fear of Dragons, which he had possesed about all of his life. "And may I just remind you all that while we argue about Guts supposed racial prejudices their is a 500-pound seething Dragon, sitting some ten feet away from us, ready at any moment to incinerate us, just in case you haven't noticed. Perhaps we should, if it wouldn'r be too much trouble, decide what exactly we are going to do, becasue we won't be able to afford appeasing her if we don't all pitch in some gold."

Chris joins the group on the right and attacks the Itsy-Bitsy Spider (Right) I didn't fight in the last battle so the mead I took awhile ago should still be in effect, I think.

Chris stuck his head in the door "aye mam, gold isn't an issue, were just here to help in any way we can."

Unsure of what, if any, rituals are supposed to be followed in this holy place Chris gives the oracle an awkward half-bow and says "Goodbye, and thank you for your time." He then paused, being equally unsure of how to address her, before finishing with a weak"Your Holiness." He was intrigued by the Oracle, and a bit disappointed that she had nothing to say to him, though he didn't feel it would be wise to bring it up. He then turned to the alter girl and with a friendly nod said "I'm ready to leave as soon as everyone else is."

"Yes, like Alexander we're here on a quest from Heroica to help the alter girl. Though if the oracle wanted to see us I don't think any of us would object. But please excuse us for being so rude, I'm Chris, and who might you be?"

"Calm down everyone." Chris says maneuvering himself in between the arguing heroes "we're all just worked up from the fight." "we all just need to take a moment," "This arguing gets us no where and is a reasonless distraction from the task at hand." Chris eyes turn to the other heroes, hoping someone will back him up. He continued "No matter what might have happened, I think everything turned out for the best, and no one died, so......" His voice died off as he waited for someone to respond.

Chris rejoined the group. Releaved that no one had died, and still glad that he had stayed out of it. He made a mental note of Hestia's kindness, she at least had his respect even if none of the other Bonapartes did. "Maybe this was the best course of action." he said to guts through gritted teeth. More than a little unhappy to acknowledge that he was right. "I see no reason to delay any longer, let's go to the Temple." He said walking off towards the temple of the oracle.

"So it begins." Chris says standing with the other heroes who choose not to fight. He was tempted to join the rioters but he couldn't bring himself to raise his sword against his fellow Heroicans. So instead he sat down unhappily and waited for the battle to end.

I'm thinking that maybe I could use my diplomacy to talk down the crowd?

"I agree with Hybros. The Wolf-gang is only up to trouble. We should deal with them first."

Chris stood their silently thinking over the decision as the other heroes argued. Eventually he came to a decision "Your right Guts, we can't afford to remain neutral." his ideological opposition to the man quickly turning to cold fury at his haste to slaughter the crowd,"You can whine all you want about the "Chaos" that will come with the fall of the houses but the reality is that nothing ever changes without it. Thing are bad, and do you think the Bonapartes will change after being threatened by this crowd? No, nothing will ever change. If anything they'll just become even more restrictive and tyrannical! Maybe the houses are a necessary evil, but maybe there's no such thing. Maybe evil is evil and tyranny is tyranny and that's exactly what we're supposed to be fighting against. I'm not saying the revolutionaries are perfect but they may be the only chance for the people of this city to crawl out from under the Houses." And yet even as he said it a more conservative side shouted that Guts was right. That this stunk of the wolf-gang. And as he looked at Nero and his wife, as snobbish as they were, he couldn't bring himself to just slaughter them in cold blood, any more than he could kill the revolutionaries. He walked over and wearily stood next to Benji after wrestling with his doubts. He doubted any of the other heroes would listen to him anyway. He steeled himself and dismissed his doubts the. "I'm with Benji" he said slowly unsheathing his sword. But then an idea stuck him "The women in the red, on the stairs. I think that's the oracle, everyone, even the common people respect, her. Maybe we could talk to her, and get her to calm the people? It isn't much but It's worth a shot. But if it comes down to violence I'm still siding with the revolutionaries."

Hybros' generosity had changed Chris's mind so he butt into their conversation saying "Guts, the gold is hybros' and it isn't really your place to tell him what he can and can't do with it. If we decide to help these people and maybe make a difference in this place is itreally such a bad thing? If we decide not to abandon them like the great houses did is it really that horrible? Their aren't unlimited beggars (Hopefully) and I doubt the gods (Quest Master) running this particular quest arecruel enough to penalize us for giving our gold away and going to extra trouble to help people. If everyone else wants to move on I will, or if the party leader decides to move I will also, but as long as anyone else wants to keep giving to the beggars I'm with them. But I feel that we are vary close to being through the beggars anyway so we might as well just stick through to the end." OCD:Sandy may I just say that when you're causing an intense moral debate among the members of your quest your definitely hosting right.

Chris Pulls out his coin pouch and then quickly puts it back into his pocket after receiving numerous death glances from the other member of his party. "Ok ok." Chris says as he starts running with the rest of his party, though he can't actually figure out why.

Chris seeing the rest of the party move on quickly pulls out his purse for one last donation. He had almost decided to give up but he was touched but Thotwick's generosity to the Metasimian Women. He hands the scarred women 15 Gold pieces and says to her quietly "I wish you luck in escaping from your abusive husband, everyone deserves to be able to live each day free of fear." He then regards the wizard, it sounded dangerously like an addiction. He considered carefully, it seemed unfair to judge him when he knew so little about magic, and so he decided "Here's 5 Gold pieces, not enough for a tonic (as the average market place price is about 15 gold.) but maybe enough to get yourself out of hear or to buy a hot meal. If your looking for a job maybe the Ziegfrieids would have something, though I confess I don't know much of them myself. Otherwise you might be able to find some work at Heroica, we could always use another wizard I'll even give you a letter of recommendation just in case." He scribbles out a short note and hands it to him. It reads My dear Scheherazade please find some work for this unfortunate man. If he's no good at questing maybe you could use some help around the bar? I'm sure you could find some use for a wizard. I know this is a lot to ask but I would consider it a personal favor. -Your coworker and loyal patron (Which has nothing to due with how the drinks are free.) Sir Christopher Daggerfall. And with that he runs to catch up with the rest of the group.

"Cynicism is bad for the soul good sir guts. undoubtedly some of these beggars are making up their stories, but so what? They obviously need the gold. The entire point of heroica is to try and help people, the gold isn't much but it's something." He hands the beggar 5 Gold pieces. He doubted he was going to be buying any enchanted swords after this quest but these people obviously needed the gold more.

Chris Downed a Mead as he regarded his gold pouch which was a bit lighter than it was. "ah what the heck," he said "if De'kra and I are going to be generous all by ourselves I'm, fine with that:tongue:" He then walks over to the begger and hands him 9 gold coins (which leaves him with an even 80) as he says "sure, old man I'd love to hear you're story."

"Sure, Here's 20 gold. That should be enough for a meal?" Chris says pulling out his Gold pouch and handing her 20 Gold coins. I've been hungry myself once when I first came to this city and I didn't much like it."

Chris joins the small group gathering around the guard women. Seeing the less than polite response of his companions to what he considered a harmless question, he quickly begins to scold them, "Come on everybody, she's only doing her job, no need to get all worked up over nothing." He then approaches the young guard and using his most Diplomatic voice says "Forgive my friends they seem to think that just because we are on a quest from Heroica we don't have to respect the law. Anyway I applaud your sense of thoroughness. It's only natural to be suspicious of a group with enough weaponry to siege a small castle. But I assure you that we have nothing but the best interest of the City and it's people at heart. And we intend respect the law and all its representatives during our stay."
