  1. I was withholding judgement until I saw some pictures and... WOW. This set looks really good. I was thinking there's no way I'd buy two and place them together, but after seeing these photos I really might have to do just that. Making some adjustments on the back side river/entrance. will be necessary. The ability to take the smooth white limestone off and have a completely different display is amazing! The entrance looks great. I love the river and the little boat builds. They really knocked this out of the park. Definitely a day one buy for me. The Architecture line seems to be heading back in the right direction after this release. Honestly, the Taj Mahal has been growing on me. I saw a built display the other day at the Lego store and was pleasantly surprised. I have high hopes for the next release. With the release of the Taj Mahal and the Great Pyramid (being originally built for religious purposes) I hope Lego will release some more religious architecture, however unlikely that may be....
  2. Has anyone seen this new 4000038 Architecture Lego Campus? Sadly, it seems it will only be for Lego employees or someone who visits the Lego House. I might try and source the pieces from bricklink or something. I think it looks really nice. https://www.brickfanatics.com/lego-architecture-4000038-lego-campus/
  3. The same guy just posted another video saying that 21058 codename will be "Monuments of the World" At 3:23 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFrrfJl7Zl8 Possibly an Aztec Temple or Sphinx?
  4. With that piece count it most likely will not be another Skyline set (yay!). Hopefully a unique landmark or architect series is in the works.
  5. Disappointing, but expected. What I really don't like is the addition of thumb tabs on Architecture boxes and the blue greebling art at the bottom.
  6. This news is very disappointing. The Taj Mahal is a beautiful piece of architecture, but this just feels like a cop out after the re-release retired not long ago. Another Big Ben, another White House, another Taj Mahal. Next year I will be expecting a scaled down Colosseum or Old Trafford. Maybe even another Eiffel Tower. I would have been okay with anything original. Skylines set or landmark set. It's really sad to see Lego make architecture sets out of things that were already released. My money will instead be going to buying Fallingwater or the Farnsworth House.
  7. Do you think it's possible for Lego to make a World Trade Center landmark set? The 20th anniversary of 9/11 is coming up this fall. This is my first post! Happy to be a part of the forums. I love the Architecture series.
