  1. Magnificent job! GIMME THAT THING!!!
  2. Oh boy, I really hope so! Is that from your source, or just common reasoning?
  3. I've never seen Lego recolor a dinosaur and label it as a different species. I wonder if that would be the case for the Dominion wave. Here would be my guesses: Velociraptor = Deinonychus (or whatever species it is) Indominus Rex = Giganotosaurus Baryonyx = Suchomimus Baby Theropod = Compy I think we can expect a Deinonychus the most, just because of the easy accessibility TLG has to design and produce it. I'm not sure... you have the right idea, I think.
  4. It shows four Deinons against a jungle background, led by a big white one. I hope these are prominent in Dominion! https://jurassicpark.fandom.com/wiki/Jurassic_World:_Dominion
  5. Deinons look awesome! As a paleontologist myself, I'd say these are pretty consistent with real-life depictions. I wonder what role they will play in the film...
  6. WAY too expensive for me. It looks cool, but it really is that: just a map... for $250. As for the trailer's release, not yet. Hopefully soon, because I'm getting antsy!
  7. No worries, mate! I hope it meets all of our expectations!
  8. Well, gentlemen, Dominion's almost here! I'm so pumped! Just think, that in one year, all our questions will be answered, all of our waiting will grant us the treasuring reward that our eyes so greatly desire, that we will finally be fulfilled by the magic of the screen, and all our hopes and dreams shall be sustained forever more. Maybe that is a bit too emotional... Also, happy end of the school year to any kids-who-disguise-themselves-as-adults-to-comment-on-these-forums!
  9. Seven: 75926, 75928, 75934, 76935, 76937, 75939, and 75940.
  10. I'm surprised Lego hasn't made some of these in general. Bolded names are most likely for next year.
  11. I wonder what new species we'll get next year. 2015 gave us a new Dilophosaurus and Indominus in contrast to 2012 Dino wave. Then, in 2018, we got Stygimoloch, Carnotaurus, and Indoraptor for Fallen Kingdom. 2019 saw the new Dilophosaurus mold, along with the Baryonyx. In 2020, we received two new baby variant molds of Triceratops and Ankylosaurus, along with the appearance of Ankylosaurus and Gallimimus, accompanied by an updated Indominus. Nothing new here in 2021, but with the money saved by using previous molds, and because of the higher prices per set material useage, next year's sets may be even bigger than Fallen Kingdom. The budget is impossible to predict, but we might be able to make a good guess. I hope we get at least 4 new species, because we know species as possibilities for the film. What dinosaurs do you guys think are likely for next year?
  12. Hmm... probably Carnotaurus Chase. Maybe Baryonyx and Stygimoloch from 76942 and 76939, but not the whole sets. The only reason I'd get 76940 is for the baby Triceratops, because I only collect the dinosaurs from the sets. These are cool by themselves, but involving the prices, ugh...
  13. Apatosaurus would most likely be the best option for a Lego sauropod; the body only has to be the size of a Rex's (maybe a bit bigger), the legs as tall as Rex legs, and two tail sections. The neck may only need one section, with a new head. So really, a sauropod would be a very ambitious project for TLG, because of the size and all-new pieces, and they'd have to put it in a $100 or more set with a low PP ratio. I'm fine with it as long as we get new dinosaurs, but still... A Mononykus based on the baby raptor mold sounds great!
  14. Wow! That's really cool! I myself do a bit, but only when I have a couple days off from work. It takes quite a bit of time! But you did a really good job; keep up the good work!
  15. I love the look of that Stiggy coloration, so maybe yes to that one? The T-rex Fossil set is a maybe, just because I would only get it for that baby Trike. I'm probably going to get the one with the Carno, just because I love the look of the jeep and the Carno (screw the helicopter). I'll see if I can only get the Baryonyx from the boat set, but I do like the look of the boat... maybe for a severe discount? These sets look pretty nifty, but the prices are kinda out of my range.
  16. Perfect job! No argument there! We did not get any new molds for these sets, by the looks of them, so it would make sense a new hair piece should be included. Plus, like all new minifig hair/accessory/etc molds, they can be used in the future. Thanks for sharing!
  17. What do yous guys think is the lowest discount we would get on these sets from retailers? I don't want to buy directly from Lego, and I'm certainly not going to pay full price for any of these, so what would be the closest estimate for discounts on any of these?
  18. Dimetrodon - Fused body, head, sail, tail, and legs; Gallimimus jaw Deinonychus - Recolored Velociraptor? Blegh Pyroraptor - Possibly small Dilophosaur-based mold, otherwise a recolored Velociraptor Giganotosaurus - Probably a recolored 2020 Indominus Stegosaurus - Ankylosaurus lower belly, legs, leg connectors, and tiles; new head, body, and tail molds Parasaurolophus - Most likely a Rex body, tail, and legs; unique arm and head molds, otherwise all new pieces Allosaurus - Indoraptor jaw, body, legs (with toe claws lowered), and tail; Rex arms; New headmold Spinosaurus - Rex body, tail, and legs; Indominus arms; New head and sail molds Sinoceratops and Nasutoceratops - Triceratops body and legs with unique heads Lystrosaurus - New single mold I'm hoping for a Mosasaurus or Sauropod at some point, but those would seem like rather big projects. Are you man enough, TLG? You certainly weren't this year!
  19. Possible creatures we could expect next year: Dimetrodon Pyroraptor Lystrosaurus Allosaurus Stegosaurus Parasaurolophus Giganotosaurus Nasutoceratops These are just guesses, but based on dinosaurs we have not gotten yet, and ones that are set for Dominion, we can make some assumptions.
  20. What would be the lowest discount for each set we'd get from retailers when these hit shelves?
  21. Eh, the mouths and eyes are similar in both heads. Thanks for pointing that out: Lego is stingier than ever this year!
  22. And yet they make sets for all sorts of other religious symbols? Oh well, Lego is just another one of those companies... on the bright side, a Nativity scene isn't impossible! (albeit incredibly unlikely)
  23. Just realized that Brooklyn's head is just Claire's with different eyebrows. Lego did say there was a low budget to these sets, but really? Reusing a head for a completely different character?
  24. What would the lowest discount be on each of these sets when they hit retailer shelves?
  25. My preferred names for these: Stygimoloch Escape T. Rex Fossil Exhibition (oh, well I guess that's the same) Toro's Pursuit Grim's Boat Attack
