Did anybody notice that if you build Bane's drill per the instructions, when you push the vehicle forwards, the drill turns backwards? It took me a while to realize what was bugging me about it! :O Luckily, it can be fixed by simply moving the small yellow gear to the other side of the wheel axle. It just feels much better with the drill spinning in the correct direction. My son discovered that it's fun to put a little piece inside the drill too, so that when it turns, it rattles.

Brilliant... the whole 1/2 and 1/2 composition and additional arc is just perfect. Would love to see it in real life.

This is excellent, loved it! I think Darth should take a load off tho, and hang up his cape on a hook, or use it as a beach towel.

Awesome. I would buy one of these in a second. Hope it happens!

AmiPolizeiFunk replied to Brickdoctor's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I really enjoyed this... in fact, it was my favorite thread on all of Eurobricks. Stellar performance crew, just stellar! -
Sweet. Nice technique on the stairs and the gold details at the back are fantastic.

How did you do Zorro's arms? -
What a great post. Such attention to detail. Liked the way you rendered the water and foam, as well as the mountainside.

Thanks for the newsflash bra. Perhaps Eilif has a simpler way of viewing the content?

An Amazon seller called "Rae-N-Ray's Toy Box" has Death Star 10188's for $320. Is this too good to be true?

General Grievous Starfighter Review
AmiPolizeiFunk replied to customlegostuidos's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm building this set now with my son. Was anybody else annoyed by the fact that through the entire build of Bag #2, the fuselage has 6 grey 2x2 Technic Bearing Plates that sit slightly below the bottom surface, and every time you add anything to the top of the starfighter (if the starfighter is resting on a flat surface), these pieces push the rest of the fuselage apart? My son is only 6 and he frequently uses the flat surface of the ground to push against. I have a feeling that the two grey 3x12 angle plates that took all the pressure might have been permanently mis-shaped because of it. They would often fall apart, and now it looks like they may be permanently warped. -

Hahahaaha great one. Love the boom and the grey dust trail of the carriage wheel. -
Looks like a grand ol' time in there. Hell I'd party there.
