Other uses for LEGO beyond building

That's pretty ingenious, NGL. -
Other uses for LEGO beyond building

I forgot the obvious most useful piece for other uses, the brick separator. Show horn, nail cleaner, doorstop, it does it all. -
I've mentioned them elsewhere here but I've got a surprisingly decent set of off-brand LEGO-compatible dinosaurs. They're alright except for all being the same height XD. I'll take a photo of them when I can get into the shed at the weekend. That said, I've got this guy sat on my desk at the moment taunting me for not colouring him in.

So I've previously mentioned elsewhere on these forums that I used to use LEGO bricks for doing stage design because I am bad at drawing so it's a better way of me visually displaying what's in my head to designers. It got me thinking, does anyone here have any fun uses for their bricks beyond the obvious intended uses of them? I'm thinking like these ideas I found on how to teach science and maths with LEGO: https://www.twinkl.co.za/resource/tp-sc-135-planit-science-year-1-scientists-and-inventors-lesson-1-lego-lesson-pack https://www.twinkl.co.za/resource/t-n-1275-lego-addition-and-subtraction-board-game Or anything in this article about LEGO 'life hacks': https://www.lifehack.org/articles/lifestyle/24-incredibly-creative-and-practical-uses-for-lego.html But mostly I'm interested to find out if anyone in here has some cool stories about how they've use the humble brick.

Who plays batman in the Lego Movie?
Bricky Joe replied to KelliWRhodes's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
It was Wil Arnett from Bojack Horseman/Arrested Development. -
Really cool work, on the lighter green build the back-mounted droid looks great too.
-
While this overall really fantastic work, I think my favourite feature is that you made sure both of the clocks were set to the same time. It's the little things like that I've got to admire.
-
This is where I admit to my great shame, I have previously bought cheaper, rip-off LEGO animals to cultivate a more substantial dinosaurs collection. They're not bad beyond the fact that the T-Rex is the same size as the Velociraptors haha.
-
This might be somewhat off-topic but does anyone else think some of the animal pieces just look worse for having painted-on eyes. I miss their old chunky face pieces.

[Factions Ep. 6 - Cat A][L13 - Fondor - TT] Arrival on Fondor...
Bricky Joe replied to ARKUM ELO's topic in Factions Archive
There's some really good character to the staging on this one. I really liked it. back when I was making theatre, I used to use LEGO to build staging ideas because I was no good at drawing and this really has that good feeling of conveying a scene. -
My name is who, the real Bricky Joe. So not sure what else to say but I am 27, I live in Sheffield, England and like many here probably, I grew up with LEGO. My favourite line for nostalgic reasons because a great uncle bought me my first large set from it, is the Rock Raiders and I still stand by the video game for that series as astonishingly solid. Anyway, glad to be here and looking forward to talking about why the LEGO Batman Movie is the best big screen portrayal of the caped crusader.

[MOC] Mario Kart Track for Interactive Mario
Bricky Joe replied to Vorkosigan's topic in LEGO Licensed
This is genuinely fantastic. I might have to dig out my old Mario Scalextric over the weekend after watching this. -
Is it bad that I've only just found that LUGs are a thing? Or indeed what LUG stands for.
-
Well exactly, and it looks just as good on the build so why put in unnecessary work?
