Thanks for a great game @Hinckley. I absolutely love your Fabuland mafia games even though the hats (or bowls or whatever you use) gave me a bloody sheep this time around. You can't always get lucky I guess after Becka Bulldog and Barty Bear. I agree with what @Darkdragon said about the emotion you manage to convey with these figures. I regret not playing the Forest III and the first iteration of this one. Not playing the first one made my head spin a bit with the whole concept, so I'm not too happy with how I played day one. I tried to be active and make sense of the mechanics, but I just ended up confused and I feel this made me look scummy. I also love that was anonymous (even though time zones must have given me away) and that it doesn't rely too heavily on PM activity. As I said to you in PM, I'd do away with PMing for the town altogether. However, private communication can hurt the town as well, as this game goes to show. Overall, I think the town tried to rely a lot on NA results, which isn't as useful when they're all one-shot actions. I think one of the biggest benefits we got from the open setup was that we knew which roles were in town's hands, so we could more easily plan by guessing who held which role, especially on the later days. I really enjoyed playing this one. Killing @Gilford Goat always seemed too risky, but it was a lot of fun to have him around until day five. You really should have investigated me as planned on night three. We were given a godfather one-shot back then. @Bartosz Bulldog was my suggestion for a night one kill. We eventually planted a bomb with her on night 2 and even though all her suspicions were wrong by the time the bomb went off, her active analytical play would have probably made it a lot harder for us. And congratulations @Benicia Bear. Well-played. I loved the role-playing by you three two. Still waiting for my award for playing the sacrificial lamb in the conclusion.

You can stop pretending you're not a baby dragon hater too. I hope it's you that's going to pay me a visit tonight for a bit of hybridisation. We could make a baby geep... or would it be a ganda? We're gonna have a blast! -

So, the night one bus drive was all part of plan to clear Gilford after all. Bold move. They would have killed one of their own if Parvani had been blocked. I guess the odds were in their favour. Why doesn't your name end in "m"? I lost track of how many of you there are. No wonder there is so much poop to clean up. We should have brought the Royal Baby Dragon Poop Scooper on this journey and make him a Bulletproof Treestump. Or an NPC. I guess that's also an option. Where have you been hiding? Are you an expensive one too? -

I can finally drop the craaaaaappy role playing... Mmm bamboo. Poodle or Lamb and you picked the wrong one out of those two. Agree with your analysis. You're all wrong about the baby dragon haters though. How on earth could Corrina investigate as "not scum"?. We lynched the framer/tailor yesterday and scum didn't have a godfather last night. Oopsie, "in hindsight" I should have investigated someone else last night? And you must have been all too happy to go along with the raccoon's plan of watching Emeric, so you could direct the rest of your scum buddies to a safe kill, "confirming" you as a loyal emancipator, just as Corrina has been "confirmed" by you and by killing emancipators. You're all wrong about our chances too. How on earth are we going to lynch scum when there's three of them around? Oh, and you're wrong about lynching Benicia too. We need her to even stand a chance tomorrow. She's guaranteed to take out a baby dragon hater tonight, because she knew who she gave the bomb and PGO to. Hmmm, seems like I didn't agree with your analysis after all. So when Gilford comes to his senses, you'll realise a no lynch is the only logical outcome fof today, making it 2-1-3 going into the night. Scum play Russian roulette and kill either Gilford or me. They won't risk going for Benicia because she's likely bullet-proof (I agree with one part of your analysis, yay!). Benicia kills one of you lot bringing it down to 1-1-2. So unless the baby dragon haters step on a bomb or PGO tonight, four of us will still be here tomorrow and this trickery isn't over yet. You may have outed yourself too soon. Fooooxxxxeeeey. Go kick yourself. I'm not a laaaaaaaaaamb. For what it's worth: Vote: Corrina Cow -

You missed the part where it says baby dragon haters can't win with the trickster aliiiiiiiiiive. Given the numbers, they have eeeeeeeevery reason to favour who they thiiiiiiiiiiink is an emancipator with their role distribution. But they have obviously been as wrong as we've been all along. I'd say it's likely there are three baby dragon haters leeeeeeeeft at this point, so there must be at least two baby dragon haters among those cooooooooordinating the night actions together. -

I thought yooooouuuuuuu were the one doing the shouting around here. I am not shouting at aaaaaaanyone, but what I am trying to saaaaaaaay to everyone is that with all the night action coordination that's going on, we haven't been getting aaaaaaanywhere and the baby dragon haters seem to be smoothly steering cleeeeeaaaaaaaar of actions that could give them awaaaaaaaay So, I was wondering if it haaaaaaad occurred to you all that there may at leeeeaaaaaaast be one baby dragon hater hiiiiiiiiding in there? I aaaaaaaam and have been trying to find those baby dragon haters, just as at least haaaaaaaaalf of us are doing around heeeeeeeere. And if you're referring to night aaaaaaaactions, I donn't exaaaaaaaactly feel loved by the trickster, so I haaaaaaaven't had much to work with in thaaaaaaat respect. I tried to pick who I thought was most liiiiiiikely an emancipator for my fruit vending and baby dragon aaaaaaaaction. -

Noooooooobody does. Meanwhile, nothing goooooooooood has come out of all those "useful" roles and yet the claims all cheeeeeeck out. Eeeeeeeevery single night. We've been picking them apaaaaaaart, with no inconsistencies to be foooouuuuuund. No "scum" investigation reeeeeesult, not a single tracking or watching aaaaaaaaaction catching scum killing or blocking. Doesn't that sound just a bit too conveeeeeeeenient? Horse meat sausages? Or, by having Parvani claim to have targeted you, you were giving your fellow baby dragon hater an aaaaaaaaalibi so he would be free to kill Shainen? Taaaaaaaaalk about jumping to conclusions. Hooooooow would Parvani know? You were giving the Spanish Inquisition baby dragon haters valuable informaaaaaaaation so they didn't have to waaaaaaaaaaste a block on you and make sure their kill would go through. If you're not a baby dragon hater yourseeeeeeelf, I can only see that benefiting the trickster. -

Geeeeeeeez, with two more emancipators dead, I'm surprised we're even aliiiiive. You all got up early again todaaaaaaaaaaay. I'm losing track of how long nights laaaaaaast on this ship. I need my beauty sleeeeeeeeeep. I sent Gilford to a baby dragon marshmellow party. I'm surprised he hasn't yet meeeeeeentioned he went to one though because I was told I was succeeeeeeessful. It also had a chance of "voyeuring" him, but I didn't get a result on that part of the role. Whooooooo's "they"? Emeric wasn't confiiiiiiirmed as an emancipator by Gilford's "not scum" result, but what maaaaaaaade you put him at the top of your list? It was you who argued that our first priiiiioooooooority was getting rid of baby dragon haters before deeeeeaaaaaaling with the trickster. "Such a dumb choice on their part"... you can't possibly be part of theeeeeem. The role was a framer/tailor, so if you dooooooooouuuuuuuubted Marlowe's claim, I'm sure you would have reeeeaaaaaaaalised they could just as easily frame an emaaaaaaaaancipator. I'M INTEREEEEEEEESTED to hear who you toooooold and perhaps even more importantly whyyyyyyyyy you told them. I never got near the sheeeeeeeeeepdog. I know he'd just bite at my aaaaaaaankles. Help us ooooouuuuuuut here... No wolf underneeeeeeeaaaaaath this wool. I suppose we could organiiiiiiiiize a shaaaaaaaaaving party tonight if you'd like to be sure. We could even make baby geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. Because that'd make you scum and that can't possiblyyyyyyy be the case? -

After veeeeeeeery nearly being voted off yesterday, I didn't see Hyacinth as a likely taaaaaaaaarget for a scum kill. Wouldn't a watcher want to select a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiikely target for a scum kill? Did you expeeeeeect to catch a baby dragon hater by watching Eeeeeeemeric? -
FABUpunk! Mafia II–Day Four, The Name of the Game
Leatrix Lamb replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
The idea was that Hyacinth should be aaaaaaable to confirm Rutherford's target. That's what Bartosz suggested yesterdaaaaaay:: They may have changed targets because Rutherford was the vengeful watcher and that roooooooole couldn't target anyone at night. It's conceivable they'd rather let Hyacinth track Holbrooke whom they asked to watch Emeric to be able to verify their claimed roooooles. Kills are resolved laaaaaaaast, so Hyacinth should have been able to traaaaaaaaack someone (if she wasn't blocked) before dying. Likewise, Emeric would have seen her result before she diiiiiiieeeeeeeeed. -
FABUpunk! Mafia II–Day Four, The Name of the Game
Leatrix Lamb replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
That obviously does not maaaaaaatch with what Emeric claimed Hyacinth was doing. Was Hyacinth also in direct coooooooontact with Rutherford? If Bartosz wanted to test Hyacinth, as he suggested yesterday, by having her traaaaaaaack Rutherford, either Emeric's claim is false or Hyacinth chaaaaaaanged her mind. That's whaaaaaaat I was thinking, everyone seems happy to gloss over it because the claims were not contradiiiiiiiictory in any way, so I am trying to seeeeeeeee which role Rutherford (and Bartosz apparently) plaaaaaaaaaayed in all of this. With Bartosz, Rutherford and Hyacinth dead, maybe Emeric and Holbrook can sheeeeeeeed some light on this. I caaaaaaan't imagine a bomb-proof bomb defuser being able to target themseeeeeeeelves, but Corrina and Marlowe should be able to saaaaaaaay something about that. That certainly isn't my inteeeeeeeention. Some of those night action taaaaaaaargets were not so straightforward to me and I'm trying to geeeeeet to the bottom of things. The baby dragon haters seem haaaaaaaappy to let the day slip by if we're not going to keeeeeep poking around. -
FABUpunk! Mafia II–Day Four, The Name of the Game
Leatrix Lamb replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
No, I don't doubt you were given the rooooooole. I said that I think you made up the stoooooooory about how you thought the bomb would wooooooork (that it would blow up everyone targeting the holder, which you immediately backtracked on without any evidence to the contraaaaaaaary, because we haven't seen claims of the holder of the bomb being targeted laaaaaaast night) to justify targeting Hyacinth instead of someone like Rutherford because he would make a good taaaaaaaarget for a watcher. An investigator being told "town/not town" or "scum/not scum" is quite coooooommon, especially when there's a third party involved. That doesn't rule him out of being the triiiiiiiiickster (or a tailored baby dragon hater or their godfather for that maaaaaaaatter), but the result doesn't make it more likely that he is the trickster eeeiiiiiither. Her comments at the beginning of the daaaaaaaay suggests she knows it was Bartosz who blew up and it is rather remaaaaaaaarkable that no one seems to have an opinion about that. This works one way, but nooooooot the other. If Gilford is a baby dragon hater, you have to be invooooooolved with your night one bus driving. However, if Gilford is an emaaaaaaaancipator, you could still be a baby dragon hater. And that's not eeeeeeeven considering one of you may be the triiiiiiickster. @Emeric Elephant, @Holbrook Horse, @Gilford Goat? -
FABUpunk! Mafia II–Day Four, The Name of the Game
Leatrix Lamb replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
It's not about the time at which you woke up this mooooooorning, it's about your choice of taaaaaaaarget. Hyacinth was not someone I'd expect to be waaaaaaatched. Knowing that your claimed target wasn't watched only confiiiiiiirmed this and hearing that you weren't tracked or beheld means you could safely claaaaaaiiiiiiim using your action on Hyacinth. Franczeska claimed to have the baby dragon lullaby action yesterdaaaaaaaay and with 16 roles for 14 animals, you couldn't just claim aaaaaaany role (especially since you were one of the first to claim and with Rutherford's vengeful action up in the air). I don't doubt you were given the defuuuuuuser role. I doubt you had the right intentions when using it or whether you even used it at aaaaaaall. Vote: Marlowe Monkey The question was directed at eeeeeeeeveryone and the animals involved in particulaaaaaaar. What I'm maaaaaaaaking of this? Probably not something you hadn't though of yourseeeeeeelf. If they were left completely in the dark about Rutherford's plaaaaaaans, it'd be risky for them to make up results for their aaaaaaaactions. But even if they used their action aaaaaas claimed, it doesn't mean they weren't also out and about doing something eeeeeeelse last night. Emeric saw Hyacinth target Holbrooke, but may have been doing other stuff as weeeeeeell. Hyacinth was only seen tracking Holbrooke, confirming her claim yesterdaaaaaaay (not surprising given she turned out to be an emancipator). Holbrooke was seen targeting Emeric and didn't do anything eeeeeeelse. Gilford was seen targeting Emeric, but may have been doing other things as weeeeeeell. I think it's likely Emeric and Holbrooke used their actions as claaaaaaiiiiiiimed, which of course doesn't clear them of being scum or the trickster. Gilford probably investigaaaaaaated Emeric, but I'm not prepared to simply trust that resuuuuuult. I don't know if we can trust the investigator and, as I said earlier, I think it's likely that the undisclosed role the baby dragon haters had last night was manipulative in naaaaaaature.
