  1. What do you mean by Core? Was that just all the sets prior the change of the show with it wrapping up last season and the new wave being its' own thing?
  2. I think we can all agree this one is better than the Docks if you had choose between only owning one. I understand what you're saying about the whole price thing but at least it doesn't look as short and out of place as the Docks did.
  3. Guys Ninjago City Markets has been revealed go to #Legoleaks to see pictures. It turns out it is another straight-line section like the docks but longer, I think.
  4. I realized recently that with Lego 2k drive coming out on the 19th they'll probably want to reveal the Ninjago sets at least 3 or 4 days prior to dedicate some days to advertising the games so I think the 12th could be a possible reveal date.
  5. What day do you all think Ninjago city markets will be revealed? I know we've gotten rumors of the middle of march which could mean the 15th or the 16th exactly or some time in the days surrounding those two. I can't see them managing to keep this thing hidden much longer and even keeping it hidden to the 15th or the 16th could be a challenge.
  6. I think either tomorrow or Friday because I doubt, they'd be revealed on May 4th.
  7. Lego Ninjago page is down on Lego's website something could be happening. Never mind the entire site is down not just Ninjago. Well the leaks are false nothing is on Lego's website that's new.
  8. So you don't think seeing pictures in now about 6 hours and 12 minutes is realistic?
  9. I would be surprised if they didn't reveal the markets along with everything else they've gotten better at controlling leaks but within a month prior I think that would be quite hard. Also, in 8 hours would be the time when Ninjago is receiving the most attention so they probably want as many people as possible to see the markets so todays seems as good a day as any.
  10. LEGO Chima May Get A Reboot!! | LEGO Chima | *speculation* - YouTube
  11. Interestingly Lego also recently renewed the copyright to manufacture sets using stuff from the Chima IP which isn't significant in it's own right however Lego hasn't done that for other of it's retired themes like monster hunters. I think if we're ever getting a Chima return this is it.
  12. I can actually see it being some weird microscale thing I just don't see them making a diagon alley expansion $70 more than the first one with the only iconic (IMO) building left to carry it gringotts I see gringotts in the $200-300 price range at most.
  13. Hi all, I decided to take a break after the summer set wave released which was definitely quite a mixed bag though the sets pleasantly surprised me more times than not. Any news on the $470 set and what it'll be? Some people have been speculating Gringotts but that seems like way too much for Gringotts to me.
  14. Oh, I always thought that it looked more like the door was connected to the bottom floor of the tower and that it was hinged. I have mixed feelings about it now that I know what it is on one hand it will probably be able to slide open which is nice and more accurate instead of swinging open. On the other hand now it well seem really out of place considering that anyone who wants to get in would have to climb the mountain (or hill or cliff whichever it is) to get in to the COS. I just figured out the real reason there were no attacks from the basilisk for years after Salazar Slytherin built the COS the basilisk was having trouble climbing the mountain!
  15. Thanks for answering. I bet the middle floor of the great hall tower is a class room and the bottom is the part of the chamber of secrets where Ron and Lockhart wait while Harry goes off and saves Ginny. I am surprised about the location of the building to the far right of the great hall in the original wasn't there something like it where a boat could go through it (I could be totally off here) but it might end up being some kind of boat house or at least something for a boat to go through though I doubt it considering as far I know it doesn't have a boat to go through it included.
  16. I have a few quick questions directed at our reliable leakers if anyone could answer it would be highly appreciated but otherwise I can wait. Which variant of Dumbledore is going to come in the great hall? What (if any) class rooms are going to be in the great hall set? Is the second level of the tower in the great hall set 1 rectangular section or 2 small cubes? Same question for the bottom level of the tower. How does the part of the great hall on the far right connect to the castle? It seems like it would look out of place right next to the other parts. Why does one 2x6 in the great halls roof have a slightly different tilt then the rest of the roof? It is completely fine with me if none of you can answer my questions just thought I might as well try asking them.
  17. Bolobo is the nature guy right? The MOC is much better than anything I could do with using only pieces from one set and having that limitation. That said, It doesn't really feel like something Bolobo would have I think it would seem more like his kind of thing if it had more greenery which I can understand why it doesn't because the set it comes from only has a few pieces that would fit if I remember correctly. Also, it seems a little bit to modern for Bolobo to pilot I think it would seem more fitting to him if it was pulled by animals or plants or something like that from what I remember from the show he isn't very smart (I could be completely off with that) so it doesn't really fit that he has a hovercraft. But, there were no animals or tons of plant elements included in the set so I can understand why it doesn't have that. On the positive side of things, the building techniques used are very original and creative I especially like how you made the ladder to get up to the second floor and the turbine those are both great. Also, including the garden on top is great I think that is the one thing that really connects it to Bolobo and how you crammed so much greenery into that small space is impressive. Overall using the Lego ideas system to review it I would give it: 5/5 for originality I would never have thought of Bolobo in a hovercraft. 5/5 again for building techniques it had some very clever piece usage. 3/5 for details it had a lot of nice little details but that it doesn't have more greenery really takes away from it. Overall 13/15 Good job with it I do like it and it is better than anything I could do but could be better at the same time.
  18. I think these might actually be real with what Clone OPatra has said about the torsos not matching anything we have and none of our reliable leakers having denied that these are real usually when a fake leak happens Guyon2002 or someone else is on here within the hour marking it as fake and with what brick clicker said: He says is skeptically not that he is sure it is fake or real and as far as I remember no one has claimed to know what the D2C is after everything changed so I at least think these are real.
  19. I thought the chess set was $60? Did something change or is it still $60? My hopes for the chess set turning out well are slightly higher now but with all the changes that have happened I am going to reserve any further comment until it leaks.
  20. Logically speaking I think your right if Lego really wanted it to be a nice displayable chess set than it would probably be much bigger I think a shrunken chess set being scaled down a little bit isolates both the kid fans of Lego's who most would have little interest in getting a chess set that is only seen in one scene when instead there is things like the great hall, clock tower, Hogsmeade, and more on the market and for adult collectors who are into chess like me I personally (as I think you all know by now) have less and less interest the smaller the set gets I think what is most likely will be their is 2-3 medium sized rooms the chess one is the biggest with 6 game pieces on a square grid with 4 squares in each row and then 2 other challenge rooms probably the room of winged keys and the final challenge. I hope it is a nice fully usable chess set with tons of new molds but I don't see that happening.
  21. Well actually, there might be if it still has the rumored 876 piece count. Though I would be disappointed if it took that route I can see the "chess set" becoming the chess set with 6 game pieces and a few other challenges to.
  22. Couldn't agree more. Why did the brick built Harry and Hermione not get changed? If anything could have been gotten rid without me caring it was that. Fawkes would have been amazing with 900 pieces being able to go into making it. The chess set being shrunk is disappointing but at this point I can really only see it now as an add on to Hogwarts and anniversary style or not that is nice to have because Hogwarts expansions have always been great in the past and with a enormous display piece ruled out a Hogwarts expansion would be my second choice. The designers have never released a set I would truly deem horrible (the carriage from 2019 comes close though which is why I skipped it) so maybe it will turn out nicely. Also, can anyone confirm whether the piece counts are still accurate for the set numbers they go with? A 900 piece chess set/Hogwarts expansion could be great. Can the people with the information share what the $40 or $30 sets were going to be or just whichever one we now know is no longer coming what it was?
  23. Guyon2002 has given comments have given me some optimism. If the chess set's price could be slightly lowered and maybe any castle parts that were planned to go with it gotten rid of I would be fine it might even be better it would depend on how big the chess set was it. It would be really nice though if the chess set had a wall which could be used as the castle's underground to go beneath the great hall that could come on and off. I don't want anything to change about buildable Fawkes it sounds great as is. Getting rid of the buildable figures for nearly anything else would be Great as well. Throw in a battle of Hogwarts D2C is the $250 slot, make the $30 and $40 expansions to the D2C, and and the wave becomes the best one of the reboot to me. All right I just caught up with what had changed and now my optimism is gone. I just laughed to myself that Guyon2002's and Falconfan1414's prophecy of you will be shocked and surprised at how bad it is just came true for people who had it hadn't already now at some point all of us have experienced a horrible shock say what you will about them but their information and leaks and speculation about our reaction has never been wrong.
  24. I mainly meant something like where MandR last year got the 501st legion set to come out but a Reverse of that scenario.
  25. Am I the only one disappointed that things are changing? I never wanted a huge Gringotts but would have (and maybe still will) buy the chess set in a second. Did some idiot on YouTube get all their followers to ask Lego to change the chess set plans? I am now really afraid that we are going back to hoping for our dream set wave and have hope for all our #1 picks and then it will turn out to be something no one would want to buy and be worse for all of us. Now the chess might end up as a set for minidolls or duplo. To all of you who complained about the chess set was it really your worst nightmare? Because I can see much worse possibilities coming. I am holding out hope that the changes are just additions to the wave and not changing the sets. Quote Thank God, there is still hope!
