Aww fuck yeah! now’s the time to announce I investigated someone last night... I did some math (I hate counting ) and decided that the probability of someone being scum if they are investigated scum was quite low (just under 50% if I remember correctly) while the probability of someone being town of they are investigated town is quite high (about 85%). Long story short I chose to clear Fergus Fox and well yeah he’s town, though I think that’s pretty obvious in hindsight since he hammered Priella. aw fuck yeah! Fistbump time fam! I’ll even let you touch my clean hand rather than my poopy one! Sorry about the different sizes of text, I was in the middle of PMing Fergus when the day came up so I had to do a copy/paste

Everyone should yeet a little poop from time to time! Nobody responded in the affirmative to my suggestion as to determining the frame target. The Captain's comment is number 3269838, which is congruent to 0 mod 13. According to my scheme, I hence nominate Calissa Cat as tonight's frame target. What does everyone else think?

Volunteering to be framed is tacitly volunteering not to be investigated, on a night when there are three investigators in play. I wouldn't be surprised if we never had this setup again, or at least not for several days. If you're scum and you can avoid being investigated tonight, you clear a pretty high hurdle. Should we decide the frame target in a deterministic but not predetermined fashion? Suggestion: At some point the captain must post the first vote tally. Let us enumerate ourselves alphabetically, from zero (Calissa) to twelve (Wyeth). Then we take the number of the post containing the first vote tally modulo 13 and see who it is. A poop in the hand is worth two on the floor. Because then you can put it in the firebox to keep our floating ship in the air. And it's much more civilized to pick up poops. Have you ever seen Seamus Sheepdog's human picking up after him? It's so we can fling it into the steam engines. Very high-class and primate in fashion, unlike certain barnyard denizens. I thought this was taken as read? Or secretly tell 5 or so people after dark so statistically they end up contacting an investigator in case someone kills them in the night I'd like to know this too!

The only way it's risky to claim if you get the framer action is if you're scum and actually want to use it. I don't think anyone advocates for the people who get the investigations to claim straight away, but it would be nice to hear from them in the new day.

If you keep this up, I'll fling something at you... You too, Eggman. Isn't it obvious? We don't know how this trickster person wins. It's possible they could win with us or with the scum - the door is left open in the rules and we of course aren't privy to their role PM. The trickster may accidentally give or may even want to give the framing action to a scum to fuck with both investigators (since a frame would mess with an insane cop as well as a sane one). Since these actions seem all to be one-shot, I think our course of action should be to claim early and claim often. Perhaps the people given the investigation roles should stay quiet until tomorrow, but I think whoever is given a frame today (or any similarly anti-town action in coming days) should reveal it as early as possible. Let's put the scum into an awkward position - do they want to claim to have a frame or do they want to keep quiet?
