For now, the Cat can't do anything so long as I am absorbing his free hit. If, however, one of you were to get jinxed, it would make the battle significantly more difficult. Take the Bugbears out first, especially the Archer, then we can focus on the Cat. I can heal you up, Ezeran, since you and Torald are the heavy damage dealers. I would advise that Torald targets the Archer and you and Skelly target the Healer while I heal you, or else you target the Healer with Skelly. Remember, one solid attack from the Archer will hurt us heavily, so we have to get him out of the way as soon as possible. Leave the Cat or the Healer to the end." Please wait for the others to confirm their actions before rolling the round. I use a Potion on Ezeran from the Back Row unless told to do otherwise

    Cree dazzles everyone in the super secret PM, but no one in thread...or vice versa? Roll of 6. As Kheyli quietly tries to pocket the items, an unseen pan had been supporting itself on them and it crashes to the ground with a loud clatter, Emilie practically bursts out of her skin, and turns around... What will the heroes do??? Kellim is checking out the backyard when suddenly he hears the clatter inside.

    "Torald, you attack your previous target. Let me heal you up. I can take the free hit from the cat without problem. I use a Potion on Torald from the Back Row and Torald repeats his attack. If Alfadas doesn't come online to change his action, then let Torald follow my actions for him, as Alfadas would obviously have chosen to attack if he knew Petaldan would heal Torald. "Fight from the Front Row, everyone. It unfortunately doesn't matter which row you fight in as they can hit you equally as well from the front or the back.

    I move to the Back Row and attack the Cat again. "Keep the Free Hits to a minimum, guys, I can only soak up one of them and it would be a waste for any of you to have to take one.

    Yeah, for some reason I thought there weren't enough higher-leveled heroes to go on the quest, and I've wanted to go on the Scholar quest since the class was first introduced...but hindsight in 20/20. Maybe Pretzel's spirit can magically appear (where are the Ziegfrieds when you need them?) and set everything right.

    I repeat my attack from the Front Row. "Don't worry. Hit them heavy. Now is our chance."

    Cheapy chitters excitedly, but then says nervously. "Unfortunately, I won't be able to open closed doors though..." Nevertheless, he hops onto the windowsill.

    Kheyli finds: Frying Pan (WP: 1, +1 HP; Suitable for all classes) and Sauce Pan (Tool; Can be used with a Potion, outside of battle, once per quest to restore full HP) Note: Item not checked by Sandy. "It may sound cruel, but Kheyli is already in the house. If she gets caught I can't see a scuffle not starting out. In my opinion, our best bet is to knock down the girl, then considering that the other voice has only come from one of the father rooms, we may at least explore these ones to our hearts content. If we just drug her or knock her out, we should get by fine. We don't need to kill her or anything! Otherwise, I suppose I could probably go in and look for the statuette, but I doubt there is any way I can recover it myself."

    The only door out of the living/dining room, passes directly behind where Emilie is, does Kheyli want to risk sneaking within a couple of paces of the girl?

    Kheyli finds no Statuette from a brief survey, if, however, she is willing to dig in a bit and move some of the items in the cupboards out of the way, she might find it or other useful articles.

    "Heh! Amazing! I can protect you all behind this tiny shield over here, though I don't think I can keep it up for long. Here, Torald, you'd better take this Potion." I use a Potion on Torald, unless told to do otherwise.

    Kheyli does not see the statue in the room. However, she's presently on the dining room table, in front of her is the sofa facing the fireplace and to the right is a counter with cupboards underneath.

    The girls looks up at Quintessa's towering figures ( ). "I'm so sorry, ma'am. I didn't mean any harm." Kheyli enters the living/dining room. Where she's standing she can just barely make out the form of Emilie's back facing away from the only noticeable exit in the room.

    "This is tough. I can't seem to hit this ugly kitty. Hold still, kitty! Should we get the others up or just keep fighting?" I repeat unless told to do otherwise
