It's really appreciated that you left all these. I prefer comments saying how I can improve it then no comments at all. I can't really improve without any help can I? All the things you said make sense. But since I'm not the kind of person that actually drives these I have to admit I had rather little to no backgroundinformation. I kind of built this just how I thought it should look. I'll try to pay attention to the things you've noted. And I do realise black is the most inaccurate color for a tank, well, pink and blue not included :P But I had quite a lot of black tiles laying around so I gave it a try. I might try to make a real tank now, but I don't know which one. An M1A2 Abrams is quite overused isn't it? Any suggestions? Thanks a lot, Julien

Thanks a lot :D I appreciate a lot :)

Hi On my prievous tank I got quite a lot of interesting comments. Telling me what I should change to get a more modern look on my tanks. I appreciate all the comments and I did some work on my tank. Basically destroying it completely and starting over again. Anyways, I present you my newest tank, the Oasis Main Battle Tank. The model has 4 opening hatches for crew. The turret spins 360 degrees. There's a hatch at the back of the model that reveals the engine. I hope you enjoy it and please leave some C&C if you want me to change things or just tell me your opinion. Flickr Link: Thanks Julien

Amazing, simply amazing. The size of this is great, but the amount of detail is just enormous. I mean, WOW, incredible job on this. You can be proud.

Thanks people, this was just a small thngy I put up while searching bricks for my new tank :D

Though I'm starting to like Brickarms --I almost hated it some time ago-- I still purism owns everything. That's why I am proud to present a Brickbuilt Barret.50 Calliber :D I really hope you enjoy it Let me know what you think. Julien

I've probably said this quite a few times before. I love it :D Epic stuff.
-
Thanks, it fits 1 minifig in the turret, or maybe 2 if you'd push it. And under the barrel you have these hatches, they can open up and there's space for 2 figures. And then under the turret I guess you can put 4 more.

Thanks everyone :) I'll try to keep all your sugestions in mind. I was planning on rebuilding it now but I guess I'm a little lazy as of now :P Anyways, there's almost certainly another one coming.

The turret isn't that bad. But I wanted this to be a modern tank. And the way it is now it really gives it a WW II kind of feeling. And there's just a lot of people over at flickr that don't like it. And since they are more experienced I guess they have a point. And he meant More tanks now indeed :D

Thanks :D I'm first trying out some techniques. Then when I get a little better at building vehicles I'll include one in a diorama for sure. And no, thisone is pure fantasy man

So after seeing some work on Flickr I decided it was really getting time for me to design my own tank. This is the result. I'm quite pleased with it considering this is my first ever. Though I don't really like the turret. So any tank-builders out here. Please help me improve it. Anyways, I'd like to hear what you guys think. Julien

Just finished building this beauty :D I love the model, it has a clean look. Not to fond of the front though, but it's a good set nevertheless.
-
I'm glad you like it :D But this is not nearly my best MOC in my humble opinion. And there's people that make ten times better MOCs then me. But I still appreciate the comment :)

Thanks :) I'm glad to hear you all like it.

Amazing work man, that's all I can say

Though the green is not very appealing in my opninion. I have to say that this is a very good space-ish vehicle. I'm sure I couldn't do it better. But maybe try to change the green to dark or light blue.

Accuracy is a big thing. But as I stated before I try to find new echniques. I want to discover new things instead of using prefab stuff. It might look less accurate, but it gives a lot more pleasure to build it .
-
Original :D I like this, very cool.
-
I totally agree, Sorry for the self-advertisement. You mean this kind of thing?
-
Indeed, the back of the first veroin was totally not accurate. I think the 2nd version is way batter, though it's a little to flat IMO. Thanks for the screwdriver idea, might try that.
-
It's basically thisone: An earlier design of me, but then with a more accurate/fixed back, the front is the same though. And thanks all :D

[MOC] (micro) Steampunk Walkers Attack!
Julandrius replied to M<0><0<DSWIM's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Nice work overall. It's not something I would've done, but it's a nice creation nevertheless. I like the idea of combining Star Wars with Steam Punk, good job :D -
When I build my creations I try to make it myself as hard as possible. For 2 reasons, NPU - Nice Part Usage is a "style?" I really like. And originality is more appreciated by other people, so that's also nice. For these canopies for example I'd first to try to make them out of all sort of greebles, light gray droid arms and maybe some flag poles might do the job. If my trials look like shit and I can't get to fix it I will probably use the TLG-piece. Bt first of all I try to be accurate and original. Same with the BURPs, I really hate those.

I'm not sure if my collection of leaves will let me. But as for the brown tubes, I was able to get 2000 of bricklink very cheap :D So I might extend, but it will be Kashyyyk instead of Endor I think, or are these trees good enough for Endor? I mean, Kashyyyk would look better right?
