I got another tie interceptor and another b-wing today from the TrU sale. Heading to my local lego store later to see what i can find. :-)

I agree that it seem's like a missed opportunity but i think lego are seeing the big picture as has been said. just look at some of the best selling star wars sets RGS had a great set of minifigs and so sold shed loads. Also the imperial inspection set was sold with 10 minifigs. Now also lego have changed the turbo tank to include more minifigs, so you can see they know their market. The 2 new star wars sets this year (sorry big star wars lego fan), the star destroyer and jabba's sailbarge both have 8 minifigs too. They want us to have lots of minifigs but we just have to buy the lego that goes with them too!

internet shopping is really the big cullprit here. why bother going to the shops looking for a few sets only to be dissapointed when you can't find them. click on legoshop@home and you have the full catalogue delivered to your door! every set you ever wanted, and old discontinued sets are always picked up of the shelves by ebayers to sell for a little profit. store's just can't compete with the selection you get on the net. some sellers on bricklink and ebay have a better selection than my local lego store! as some one said earlier it all comes down to shop space.

That's a really good MOC! :-) is the spider droid the right scale for minifigs? it looks like it is.

i also was a member of fbtb for a long time but a good year or more ago the forum went down for a week or more. i never really got into their forum either so went looking elsewhere. i had all ready seen eurobricks thanks to sam89 posting links to pics of the then new tie collection. which i am afraid to say i said they were fake (boy was i wrong). i never went back to fbtb because of their stupid respect the brick crap! why keep pictures of new sets to themselves i will never know, they have been scooped so many times. anyway eurobricks is a great community and i would never want to go back to fbtb.

this is such a good set. i was lucky enough to get 2 when they originally came out. they have been selling for silly money of late though.

i think they mean lul mace version. shop@home now has the tank back up for sale in europe. it still has the old description but the pics are of the set with the new figs.

Where are all the ep3 sets going? most sets have at least a 2 year run before they are pulled out of production. I have got all the sets, but there are some i wanted to get a few more copies of.

This set is more like the episode 2 sets now that also came with 4 clones. It just seems better value now. even though i only paid half price for 2 of my tank's, :-P i still want to get this one. maybe the price of clones on BL and ebay will get better now too.

it's quite a lot longer than the revenge of the brick sample. also vader is better in time conducting as are the clones in playing (my wife has played in many orchestras and she was impressed). the camara also pans round the clones which it never did in the RotB video.
