Well the SSD is $400 which is just $100 below what the Falcon sold for originally and it has like 2000 parts less and the Falcon had bigger parts overall I think so definitely not $500. It would probably be $600-$700 now which is really putting it out of the ballpark for them to sell. Only 2 sets since have come close to the $500 price of 10179 - The Death Star playset $400 and the SSD $400. Everything else that has come out before or after has been $300 and below. All U.S. pricing as I know other countries pay more already.

Parting a set out will run you around $800 in the U.S. if you go full authentic and pay a lot for the set's radar dish and sticker. Read through the whole thread and it will point out what you can do about order replacement parts vs. Bricklink vs. Lego Pick-a-brick.

Probably I ordered a cheap Millenium Falcon at that time and never showed.

Well I placed an order this morning and looks like the radar dish is out of stock :( and some other elems can't remember off hand.

Yes i knew I of course would pay for them. I just wanted to make sure they were OK with order whole lots of pieces from a set through the replacement service. So i can say hey i need 40 Technic 1x16 bricks, 60 levers etc. and they would allow it. It just feels a little wrong to me as it is a replacement parts service and I'm not replacing anything just buying a lot extra. Thanks for the info. Guess I need to get busy.

So am I to understand that I can just call customer service and request a boatload of "replacement" parts and they will do that? So I could order 60 levers no problem?
