LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
HarmfulEmpire replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
What are the chances that they ever release another Darkness on Umbara Lego set? In Clone Wars that string of episodes was so impactful. I’d love to get more 501st troopers trying to arrest General Krell. The other set that I don’t think they’ve visited recently is another Siege of Mandalore. After The Mandalorian season 3 it would be timely to have a set with Darth Maul’s Mandalorian troops. We got Gar Saxon a couple of years back and almost 10 years ago a pair of elite Mandalorian troopers but that was soooooo long ago. I’d love an army builder with troops for the recent Aśoka’s troopers battle pack to fight. Also a minifig of Jesse wouldn’t go amiss. -

Okay I wrote down the individual minifig placement from my box. Top Left row back to front: Giant Man, Kate, Hawkeye, Echo, Echo, Agatha, Wolverine, Agatha, Wolverine. Top Right row back to front: Beast, Kate, Hawkeye, Storm, Storm, Storm, Echo, Agatha, Wolverine. Bottom Left row back to front: Hawkeye, Mr. Knight, She Hulk, Moon Knight, Warewolf, Warewolf, Moon Knight, Giant Man, Beast Bottom Right row back to front: Kate, Mr. Knight, She Hulk, Mr. Knight, She Hulk, Moon Knight, Warewolf, Beast, Giant Man. I hope this helps some minifig hunters find the figs you want out there in the wild. -

Got my Marvel series 2 box from Minifigure Madness today. I haven’t written down the minifigure placement yet but I can confirm I have 3 of each minifigure for 3 complete sets of 12. -

For those who ordered the Marvel Series 2 boxes from minifigure madness, can you post the distribution and numbers for your box here on the forum? I ordered one too. I’d like to see if we can get an informal census of where certain figs get placed in each box to see if there’s any consistency. Maybe we can help others by posting the figure positioning here so others can have a better chance to find the specific figs they’re looking for? I’d also like to see if each box ACTUALLY contains 3 complete sets of minifigs or if the distribution puts unequal numbers of Echos or Warewolves in there at the expense of other figs. I’ve seen a few people post that they didn’t get 3 complete sets of 12 but instead got 5 or 9 repeats of the two characters mentioned above. What do you think? -

I ordered 2 6-packs on Sept 1st and they arrived today. Both contained the same 6 figs. Both versions of Moon Knight, both Hawkeyes, Echo, and She Hulk. I figured they’d divide the Moon Knights, Hawkeyes, and X-Men between the two boxes. The figures I wanted were the 3 X-Men and my gamble was that even in a worst case scenario I’d get at least one of them in the 6-pack box. I couldn’t have imagined that they wouldn’t divide the Moon Knights, Hawkeyes, and X-Men between the two boxes to break up the similar characters and force people to go out and keep buying more to collect the ones they want. I can’t help but think that if they’d grabbed two boxes from another pile I could have had duplicate sets of the new X-Men characters!!! Anyway…I didn’t see anyone posting about the 6-pack box distribution, so hopefully this post helps someone else out there. -

I looked at the images of the Endgame Final Battle and does anyone else see the Captain America shield is black now? Am I seeing things? Lately it’s been silver or bluish grey and printed on the front. Does this one look like it’s black with print on the front? -

This is amazing news. It would be great to see images tomorrow. I really enjoyed that movie and it is understandable that Sony and Marvel kept so much of it a secret to surprise the audiences. It therefore sounds reasonable that Lego would need lead time to make a new set based on No Way Home and if they had no idea what was going to happen in the movie a 2023 release would be unusually fast for the Lego Group to develop, produce, and release a set. Spider-Man No Way Home came out in 2021 so 2023 is almost exactly 2 years. Do we know if “more info” means we get to see photos or are we just getting more descriptions? -

That new Venom suit Spider-Man would be amazing. Just different enough so that it’s not identical to the San Diego ComicCon version from 10 years ago but something I’d love to have in my collection. Is it just me, or is anyone else impatient to see some Marvel leaks? I want to see the Marvel CMF’s. I also want to know what 76226 is going to be. Honestly I’ll take anything at this point!!! -

Was there a list of the minifigures and mini builds in the upcoming 2023 Marvel Advent Calendar? I was scrolling through the history on this thread and didn’t see one. -

I'm not a huge fan of the mech subtheme but I like this. The Spiderman mech is better than the 1st one and shares similarities with thr Miles Morales Spiderman mech. Doc Ock is great too! -

I’d bet Marvel didn’t tell Lego anything about the WandaVision finale. The best idea for a WandaVision set is probably a particular scene from the finale. The set wouldn’t be accurate to the scene but it would have both a location people remember and the characters people want. Lego has done this many, many times. I can pick out a bunch of Marvel sets for examples. Look at Loki’s cosmic cube escape (I don’t remember Iron Man being there), Extremis Seaport Battle (love the figs, but it’s not accurate), Malibu Mansion Attack (Mandarin wasn’t there), Mandarin Ultimate Showdown (what happened here?), Black Panther Pursuit (truck build is wrong for the scene and Black Panther didn’t use his jet in that particular scene), and even Dr. Strange’s Sanctum Santorum. While this list isn’t intended to be comprehensive or exhaustive I think Lego would be perfectly happy to make a scene people will remember and add characters that never appeared in that part of the show. I personally would still buy it. I only fear that they would make a circus truck instead of a location based set. If Marvel makes a WandaVision set it may take 2 years or so before it’s released. Unless I’m incorrect, isn’t that a typical development cycle for Lego products to go from design to production? If Lego only saw the WandaVision finale when it aired at the same time for the rest of the world then that’s as soon as they could begin the development cycle, right? The fastest way to get the mini figures would be a minifig pack but I think other members here have mentioned that Lego limits the number of new prints for those. It seems more likely to me that a set will be made and we’ll see it in a couple of years. -

Where did you order your helicarrier from? I haven’t seen it listed for sale anywhere as of yet.
