Well sometimes riddle end up confusing people more than giving any good information. Really? I really liked that set so it's a shame if it didn't sell well. But that's probably getting slightly off topic.
-
That wouldn't be a bad idea because Lego has never made a model of it that could sit for figures. Not sure if people would buy it though
-
That's why people being be confused about the latest "clue" is confusing.
-
It is actually slightly. The biggest difference is the the hood and lights (if I'm not mistaken).
-
Is it possible that "not one in the same" just means that the DA doesn't have the number 75978 and that they mentioned it again to make sure people knew that ?

Amazon also does discounts, and you can find sets for great prices on bricklink. With both of those options though you might have to wait a couple months so it really depends on how badly you want the sets.

Marvel Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

$90 for 645 pieces is a much better deal. Especially with the bigger pieces and new prints as you said. I looked on several different sites and didn't even think about checking stonewars so thank you. -

Ah okay. It's weird because Brickset list the same count for the tower. Do we know what the actual piece count is then? -

Does the new Avengers tower really have only 456 pieces? -

Aren't the arc reactors on the figures different from the design of the suit in the movie? Also, how many pieces are there in the Avenger's tower set? -
I don't think Lego would release a $400 DA without Olivander's. Fans of Harry Potter would be outraged, if something that expensive was missing one of the key locations.
-
That's understandable. I was just saying that they are important figures.
-
However it did come with four exclusive characters who are the foundation of Hogwarts lore. I doubt 20 since it is licensed but I would say 15 would be fairly reasonable.

I must say, these sets are beautiful and make for the best wave so far in the reboot (in my opinion of course). My favorite sets would probably have to be Private Drive ( I don't have the original but have nostalgia for it if that makes sense), the Room of Requirement ( which exemplifies just how good a $20 set can be with three exclusive figures, two exclusive molds, and references/features that really bring the set to life and make it feel whole even though there isn't much to it), and Umbridge's encounter ( Grawp is so much better then what I was expecting). This is a very unpopular opinion but the worst, to me even though it is a great set, is the Burrow. I personally prefer the original because i feels classic, however I probably will like it a lot more when I have it in hand. Besides Ginny and Mrs. Weaselly, I think that all the minifigures in this wave are great. While I understand the complaints about some of the figures, I still find them to be above average especially when you compare them to the likes of Marvel and DC figures. Speaking of figures which characters have new face prints. In my list I have: Reused: Harry (all sets), Ron (all sets), Slughorn, Draco, Bellatrix, and Lavender New: Umbridge, Centaurs, Greyback, Doby, the Training dummy, and Luna. Do the rest have new heads?

I can't believe that we've gotten four new leaks today. Hopefully that does mean that the sets will be revealed soon. The figures themselves are rather interesting: Harry potter looks great in the updated slughorn party outfit. Differently looks better than the 2011 one which was pretty good in my opinion. The hair choice they used for him isn't that surprising and makes sense. Hermionie looks alright. I love her sweater. The plain black legs is understandable since she is wearing black pants in the scene. Still not crazy about the face or hair however it is growing on me. Umbridge looks fantastic. Like many I didn't expect such detail. The new face print is great and reflects her look of horror at seeing Grawp, and being carried away by the centaurs, quite well. Also I don't know if this has been said but her smiling expression looks to be different from the one in the bricktober pack as well. I love the darker shade of pink and the fact that she has the printed heels. While I understand the preference of her 2007 hair piece this one has more texture and still works really well even though it doesn't have her signature curl. Slughorn also looks goods but the lack of excitement is understandable. Not having they lighter grey hair printed on the side is a downgrade. It also doesn't help that this outfit is so similar to the other one that we've gotten for him which is more of the fault on the in universe design then Lego's. I honestly think that having unpainted brown legs was the be best way to go. After all, he is wearing brown pants in that scene. I don't printing the robes would have turned out that well considering the problems that LEGO has been recently having with the printing. As to the hair I feel like the doctor who hair piece would look better As to the reused facial expressions, it makes sense. Neither Harry or Hermionie change that much , in regards to their facial features, between movies 3-6 although new expressions would have been nice. As to Slughorn, most of his time in HBP is spent with him either smiling or frowning with a look of concern on his face. The only scenes that I can recall him having a broader range of expression are the scenes with the tampered memory and in the night of Arago's burial. Has it been confirmed that Grawp will be built in that style. He would be too square but more importantly would be way to big.

Marvel Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

Exactly. There is a lot of demand for x-men sets. That's true. The x-men sets were surrounded by others that were based off of movies and cartoons that were just coming out and therefore just more popular. ( Also a magneto mech would be both really cool and appropriate considering his powers .) That's because of Marvel. -
At least its better then the goblet of fire that was in the Clock tower
-
I've notice that to. Why is that?

That's true but the builds were a little lack luster. Imo the figures in the set were awesome. I can't see why they would have contributed to the set selling horribly though. Plush the out fits they had in the set were kind of dual when in relation to the color palette that Lego chose. If they were to go the rout that the DC CMF did and use a brighter color palette than there is no reason that an X-men CMF could't sell well. -
That's true. I would just hope though that there would be a difference in size between the two even if it's not proportional.
-
I suppose that's true. I would much rather LEGO go with the Philospher Stone than Deathly Hallows for the sake of the number of pieces used and the fact that the Ironbelly would make a great set for next year. If they did do the Ironbelly though wouldn't be bigger than the Horntail? I thought that the Ironbelly in universe was a lot bigger.

Personally I feel like the hair piece that captain marvel used in the 2015 set would look better on this new figure ( even if it's inaccurate). Also if a Marvel cmf were to happen than (in my opinion) going with the x-men would be the best choice since those characters are so underrepresented in the marvel theme. -
I mean something like that would take at least 600 pieces. Would much rather see those pieces go to the different shops My point is that it still takes away from whatever else could be possibly be coming in the set.

Adding anything that would represent the under ground of Gringotts would take away from the rest of DA
