  1. I am getting ready to start on Raskolnikov 's aggressor which I purchased the instructions for. I will be doing it a couple books at a time to allow me to save up for the pieces over a few months. Anyways, I have found the spread sheets for the parts per book, put them into bricklink, and have gotten to the point of being able to create carts. A few questions about using bricklink that I couldn't find after searching the forums. - After getting to the stage just before creating lots I went to check on the terms of each store but I had to regenerate the list each time. Sometimes new stores would come up. As I understand this changes if either stock or prices if the stores changes? - How much does bricklink factor in shipping costs? i.e. if it picks from a store until there are no more parts left then switches to a slightly more expensive store to fill the rest. With two stores I have to pay two sets of shipping but what if the second store has a full stock of what I need and it would be cheaper to go with that store when shipping is factored in. Is there anyway to handle that without going through each store manually and factoring shipping and costs? - Any other tips for buying large lots on bricklink?
  2. This is incredibly awesome! I was looking into picking up a new UCS Star Destroyer but I like interiors and this one is great so i just bought the instructions. Couple of questions... I see the some folks were asking about pieces per book. Did anyone ever make a piece per book list? Given my other planned project I am going to have to order this in parts and would prefer to be able to build along the way. Second question... any suggestions for ordering parts? I have never order a large amount of parts. I saw how to import to Bricklink and all but is it better to buy some of the parts from Lego? Cheaper? At least with buying from Lego I can get VIP points. Is there a way to separate new vs. used from Bricklink or does it default to one of the other? Also, Raskolnikov, did you ever do instructions for your M80 Independence? That is an incredible MOC as well.
  3. Thanks for all the help. I am pleased to see I have so many parts for a good number of Star Wars sets. I'll complete what I can and use Bricklink to pick up the missing pieces. Unfortunately, the Minifigs are missing from most of these sets but that's to be expected from a bulk lot. First thing first is to get the rest of the bricks sorted and then I will attempt to get these sets put together. I'll post pictures when I am done. In the meantime, here's a shot of my current Star Wars Lego collection.
  4. Thanks for all the help! I found the other snowspeeder wing and I think that is set 4500. Unfortunately most of the mini figs to these sets aren't present, although there are a few. I also found the leg joint caps to the AT-TE but I am not sure if the whole things is present. The Star Wars sets I am going attempt to complete, because I collect these, but I am not sure about the others. How much more value is there in partially or mostly complete sets vs a bulk lot? Trying to decide if its worth my time to complete all of the known sets.
  5. Mostly sets for me. Actually, I don't think I've built any MOCs since I was a kid. But I've got some good MOC ideas so it is time to change that.
  6. Here are the pictures. I've numbered them (in my head) one though however many there are in each picture of left to right. I think most of these are from Star Wars sets but there a few I am pretty sure aren't star wars. I know some of these are relatively small sections. Thanks for the help! http://
  7. Thanks for the offer of help. I was going to post the pictures but the file size limit is very small. Is that a post count thing?
  8. How hard is it to determine a set from partially built components? Easiest way? I recently bought a bulk lot of legos and there are a few partially built Star Wars sets. I know what a couple of them are, but the rest I am unsure. Since Star Wars Lego is what I collect I'd like to attempt to put together as many sets as I can from the lot.
  9. Greetings! New member here. I collect toys, in particular Star Wars was toys, including Legos. It has been a while since I have really gotten into Legos but having to isolate has given me more time. Anyways, I must have a case of cabin fever because I came up with a large Star Wars MOC idea and bought 100lbs of bulk lego lots to give me pieces to work with. Anyways, see y'all around.
