Aw no fun will be had then. He's always around except when we need him most. Is there really such thing as a Vengeful Scum? -

I'm not a Vengeful Scum, that's for sure. Am I a Vengeful Townie? If I am, you will have two answers instead of one tonight. I like to mess with Vincent, let's see if he freaks out. If he really thinks I'm Scum, he's in no danger. And don't worry, I still want to be lynched. Vote: Fabien -

Sorry, the role says it is commonly Town. A Vengeful Scum is such a weird thing to do. But since you're so convinced I'm Scum, you shouldn't worry too much about hammering a Vengeful Townie. Unvote: Fabien -

One last trumpet solo... Taratatatatatatatatata I'm not going to unlynch myself. Town needs validated information more than they need a kill action. -

Vincent? I know you're around. You argued for days on end that I had to be Scum, but you're not going to secure the lynch? Come on, you want to do it! -

I was the first to mention a Strong role in this game. In reply to Peter discussing claims. Yes. -

Let's see what the options are. I'm Scum, you lynch me. Where will my kill go? Vincent? He's going out of his way to justify why I'm Trooly Scum. The motive could be that he wants Town to move the Block targets. Because if he inherits the Scum kill, he will still be blocked and there won't be a Scum kill tonight. Then he's next in line for the lynch. Peter? He's also being blocked, so if he's Scum he needs Town to release him. Even if I'm lynched, the kill won't be of use with the current Town strategy. He also didn't seem to have any doubt that I was Scum. Fred? I don't think we heard much from him today. He's not in any danger of being blocked though. Aiden? He's in a good position to profit if he's Scum. A new blocker strategy wouldn't help him, yet he voted Andrew first. Emmett and Andrew? They're the more moderate players, willing to consider I'm not Scum. Not the way they should be playing if they were waiting for the kill action. On the other hand, I doubt either of then would be blocked tonight. Robin? Less vocal today, but leaning on "Scum Fabien" side like Vincent and Peter. Trenton... Who? Andrew mentioned that perhaps the real Town Vig was killed early on. If Scum knew it, they could have used the knowledge to prepare a Town Vig claim. But claiming Vig on Day 3 doesn't help as Remi, Michael, Jean were already dead. -

I can't believe the irony. I don't want to defend myself because I want to be lynched, yet if you lynch me thinking I'm Scum you will do the wrong moves tonight and waste more time. So I have to work to make sure you lynch me thinking I'm the Town Vig. First things first. I could have forced the lynch at any time by editing all my posts today. I won't do it, because 1) forcing my lynch down your throat doesn't feel like a Townie thing to do; and 2) in a recent game I was rather pissed-off when a Scum used this tactic to gain a major advantage. One shouldn't be rewarded for purposefully breaking a game rule. Anyway, on to other things... Adding to this, there seem to be sub-teams forming... We already know about Aiden and Vincent, now Peter is joining them. Andrew and Emmett seem to agree a lot. Trenton, hasn't said much in the game so far. Robin The problem is that, if you block me you will also have to deal with Peter, Aiden and Vincent. Too many suspects, too few blockers. That too. If you don't lynch me, the Scum is likely to kill off a blocker, especially if Town decides to block the "wrong" players, those who weren't already blocked last night. There's no absolute guarantee that Vincent or Peter are the Scum killer, but chances are good. Moreover, if you don't lynch me, you will have to deal with "who is the killer now" if you're lucky enough to lynch the right Scum. Only the Scum can kill me at night, but they probably won't at this point. I doubt there's another Townie with a kill action, unless we have an Inventor around. I took after Daniel and posted a clue to my role in plain view... But it was probably around Day 3 so useless in this context. Listen to the man. If it was the case, Scum Fabien wouldn't have needed a strong-arm kill to take care of Daniel. I knew I would be blocked, just send the action to my Scum chum. No, I'm pretty sure Scum would have used this strategy to clear Vincent and/or me already, but they didn't. And Scum Fabien went and killed while Vincent was blocked, only to tell everyone that he did it. Had I wanted to clear myself and/or Vincent of suspicion, I would have killed and shut my mouth about it. I'm never gonna get yeeted by Scum, because you all think I'm Scum. As long as I'm alive you're going to focus on me and use up actions to keep me under control. -

Yes it's the best option. If you block me, you run the risk of missing the actual killer. You will need to block-track Aiden, Peter and Vincent tonight, because the killer won't be moving with my lynch. Now you will think that I'm trying to get lynched in order to pass the kill action to someone you won't be watching so closely, but it isn't true. I'm trying to get lynched so that you can verify my alignment. Vote: Fabien. -

I don't think I said that scum didn't try to kill last night, only that they didn't kill. There are many possibilities why they didn't succeed, and they have been detailed already. I didn't have to claim, and I could have stayed hidden. If someone had tracked me last night they would have come up with the news before I did. The reason I told you what has happened is because the only one gaining from the confusion is Scum. You would have spent the whole day working on false premises, and when I turned up Town tomorrow you still wouldn't fully understand what actions were involved. So it was important for you to understand exactly what happened. This is not about lacking imagination, is about telling Town the truth when they need it. I also claimed because the night actions appeared to clear Vincent, which is something he would have used until the end of the game. I'm not saying he's Scum, because I don't know. But he's still on the suspect list for sure. Also, as much as I want to think one of the blockers is Scum, in this case none of them helped me with the kill. I need to reconsider all evidence as it looks like my scum radar is broken. I'm not going to spend the time accusing anyone, only analyzing what evidence we have, in the light on me being Town of course. It will prove useful when my alignment is confirmed. Fail like in trying to kill Daniel when he was already dead. See above for why I needed to claim. The point here was not to guarantee my survival, but make sure Town isn't picking the wrong track for the rest of the game. And you're wrong -- I stood a better chance of surviving by not claiming, I knew that claiming would guarantee my lynch. I'm not even fighting it. By lynching me you will validate information that cannot be validated otherwise at this time (not to my knowledge anyway). I have limited kills, so I didn't target anyone on nights 1-2. As for night 4: Aiden. Governor claim. Has never been tracked or blocked. He could be Scum, he could be the killer, he could have tried to kill and fail or hasn't tried at all. Andrew: has proven that he can block. Can't be the killer, but could still be Scum. Emmett: has a plausible tracking record, but it's easier to falsify than blocker. Could be Scum, but probably not the killer. Fred: has proven that he can block. Can't be the killer, but could still be Scum. On the other hand, Andrew and Fred can't both be Scum blockers, right? Peter: claims a role. Has been blocked by Andrew last night, and Scum didn't kill. Could be the killer. Robin: claims protector. Has been jailed on night 2, so can't be the killer. Could still be Scum though. Trenton: No claim, has been tracked by Emmett and did nothing last night. For him to be the killer, Scum must have chosen not to kill. Perhaps less likely? Vincent: claims a role. Has been jailed then blocked. Could be the killer. So from my point of view, we have 3 more likely candidates for Scum killer: Aiden, Peter and Vincent. Since I'm lynched and there's plenty of time left, is there anything I missed that would help shorten this list? I can't help you anyway, I can't kill two nights in a row. I could do it last night because I was blocked the night before. The latter. The problem is, nobody believes a claim unless proven. Aiden could be a Town Governor, or could be a Scum not-Governor. There's no proof either way. -

Okay, time to throw all the theories to the bin and start from fresh... First of all, I'm sorry for Justin. He did everything to make himself look suspicious, and Daniel trying to veer the vote away from him twice didn't help. Secondly, I'm sorry for Daniel. Had he been less pushy in a scummy way from his unconfirmed-Town pedestal, he would still be alive today. That said, from my perspective we were stuck in a trap that I had suggested myself could happen in a game with so many blockers. The Scum could just stop killing until we'd lynch each other into defeat. Plus if one of the blockers was Scum, the coordination would keep Scum aware of Town's every move. But if there really was one Scum among us three, I had to be Justin. Anyway, what happened last night must be quite a shock to Scum, and I was waiting for a slip of the tongue that would help me help Town before it's too late. I'll share my thoughts on that later. Because I'm the Town Vig, and Scum didn't kill last night. I know you will have to lynch me in order to prove it, but that's the price to pay for you to get back on track. I strong-arm killed Daniel, and no blocker helped me. It doesn't mean one can't be Scum though, we're not working together. I had targeted Justin the night before, but I was blocked so I had to use strong-arm tonight. I can only do it once. Now do keep in mind the information that Scum didn't kill last night, because you will have to adjust your actions accordingly. One less likely possibility is that Scum also tried to kill Daniel, and failed -- but what are the chances? -

What did I miss? Wow, I never thought I would need to quote 20 posts. Because claiming is overrated. Yeah, you think that at some point down the road you will catch Justin in a lie, because you will keep a tracker on him all the time. I could claim to you right now, and you wouldn't be able to find any inconsistency in my claim. Nor could you verify it, just like Justin's. There are already plenty of fingers pointed at Justin, because of his scummy actions in this game, but you're focused on me (and Vincent) because we're not telling you (and everyone else, including Scum) what you want to know? Why? Imagine for a moment Vincent is Scum. He claims he's a Jambalayzer or something (don't look it up on Mafia Wiki). You're happy with that, you think you can catch him later if he lies. Then you switch your vote me, hoping for me to tell you that I'm a 6-shot Ninja Scumbinator, at which point... what? How will you choose between three unverifiable claims? I feel unloved. Give me some attention. Daniel isn't the only one fishing today. I'm not sure I get why you thought you would be murdered last night. Night 3. Scum wouldn't have touched a scummy Townie with a pole. I assume you were afraid of being murdered by a potential Town Vig? "Low odds of being on the same team" sounds... odd. You mean low odds of being on the same Scum team, yes? Because they could both be Town. And if you're Town, your wishes aren't worth much because you're no better informed than anybody here. It's all OMGUS at this point. I do notice that there's no mention of me in your list, just like Andrew a little while before you. And this despite me leading the vote against you today, and being strongly supportive of it yesterday. Almost as if you wanted the Scum survivor(s) tomorrow to be able to say "See, he avoided naming Fabien, he must be the last Scum, lynch him!1!!" Or am I imagining things? I thought that Voyeur Justin targeting Jean was a plausible strategy, despite my disbelief in Justin's towniness. See, if Justin believed Jean was right in his suspicions of Joshua (after all Justin did hammer Joshua) then he was justified in thinking that Jean would be targeted by scum during the night, and he could have learned something about Scum roles. After all, Joshua flipping Scum = Jean pretty much proven Town. But Voyeur Justin targeting Jean because he thought Jean was scummy... doesn't make much sense at all. I'm happy to hear that you agree with the fairly logical list of someone you consider Scum. You still can't get onboard with Vincent/Aiden/Daniel being scum, but since a scummy player you are helping to lynch has opened your eyes, you might change your mind about them. Joshua didn't. I see. So you would agree to lynching Justin because his death will bring you closer to forcing info out of Vincent and I. Maybe you should rethink what you're trying to achieve here. On the other hand, it almost sounds like you're assuming that he will flip Town, because otherwise you won't need to force info out of us tomorrow, right? I find it hilarious that you would call me verbose. And why would I waste a day acting like I'm guilty and waiting for Daniel to decide whether I live or die, when I know I'm a Townie and I can still use my brains and my vote? Okay, so if we all claim, who are you going to vote for? You see this doesn't make sense. Potentially Fabien? Did you leak anything to me? I doubt it, I haven't written a single PM in this game. What are you driving at? If I claim, I know you can't prove me wrong. What then? Yeah, you made it clear already that it doesn't matter who's lynched at the end of the day, as long as you have The Information. If you're not actually Scum, then you're acting just like one. So... you thought you would be killed by Scum, after almost getting lynched during the day. Then you went claiming privately to someone you were already almost sure was Scum. Because I don't buy this whole "if you claim, then you're Town" mantra of yours. If we all claim, who will you vote for then? You will still have to lynch one of us three, because it's likely that one of us is a killer. Nothing we will claim will be verifiable, because it would have been verified already. But I'm standing my ground, because at the moment I'm pretty sure that Justin is scum and that there will be no need for this bullying tomorrow. Don't be so ungrateful to "D", he's trying to save you so that he can bully us into claiming. I disagree. So if you're Town, it's either Daniel or Vincent. But if it's not you, and not Vincent, then I should be the killer. I still don't get it why you're so focused on them two, instead of me. The two players you PMed last night with your honest claim. Yes, if you flip Scum I will trust Vincent to be Town, and the opposite is true. One of you two must be scum. So yeah, you're telling us that you wouldn't want Vincent to be trusted as Town if you flip Scum. Why? If he's Scum, and you're Scum, you would want Town to trust him after you're dead. If you're really Scum and you know he's not, then you wouldn't want him to be trusted after you're dead. Why would you not be alive? Oh I know, if we lynch Justin and he's Scum, then the kill will go to another Scum and they might kill you while you're blocking us. Because if I'm wrong about Justin, you're in no danger of dying, right? -

If there's a serious attempt at lynching me, I will claim, and people will believe me. I mean, you're believing Justin and his super fishy claim! But Town will be the worse for it. So why don't we just skip all this and lynch Justin instead? -

Justin's target is suspicious? Hell yeah, in other games I've played it's an automatic lynch, so I don't even know why you're acting as if it doesn't matter. It sucks to be Justin right now, but there's nothing to redeem him in my view. He has a suspicious voting pattern, he was one of the three blocked players last night when Scum didn't kill, and he admitted to targeting Jean on the very night he died, claiming an action that doesn't do shit to help us and that can't be easily verified. While I appreciate that you're looking to further your knowledge about PRs and that you can't live without knowing everything about everyone, I don't see how you can let Justin live with all the evidence against him. I don't see how having a claim is helping him in any way. It's not a proven claim, and by now I'd think that every Scum has prepared a claim. Voyeur isn't particularly risky, as it can't be easily verified unless someone tracks him, and what are the chances of another Townie with the same role? Moreover, we don't know if Justin was the killer on Night 1, so he could be truthful about having targeted Alex. It doesn't prove that he's not the killer now. What seems overpowered to me is Town having so many blockers. -

Let's think about this some more. The night 2 killer (Jean's killer) hasn't been lynched. We also know a few people who can't be the night 2 killer. Andrew: was blocked by Fred on night 2 Daniel: jailed Robin on night 2. Has proven that he can block, unless both Robin and Vincent are Scum. Emmett: tracked Daniel on night 2. It's possible that he lied about being a Tracker, getting his tracking information from another Scum. But still, less likely. Fred: blocked Andrew on night 2. Has proven that he can block, unless both Andrew and Justin are Scum. Robin: was jailed by Daniel on night 2. Who's left? Aiden Justin Peter Trenton Vincent Fabien One of these guys is the current Scum killer. All but Vincent could be the night 1 killer too, but that's irrelevant since we have lynched Joshua in the meantime. Did I miss any evidence? Oh yes, and three were blocked last night. Daniel. Protector + Blocker. Personally, I think that both Daniel and Vincent are played by Hinckley. And one of them is Scum, but the other doesn't know yet. Just wait until Hinckley figures out. Fixed it for you.
