Idk what everybody else does, but here’s what I do to find any new leaks: Google “Lego Harry Potter Reddit” Click into Reddit. Click to sort the posts by “new” Scroll until you find them. You’ll see the new figure leaks from like yesterday :)
-
Interesting. So it’s essentially a remake of the 2018 Great Hall set. Even the price point is similar. Most people really liked the 2018-2020 Hogwarts system, so this new system might end up being popular after all. Idk if I’ll collect yet another Hogwarts system simply due to lack of space and redundancy, but if it’s unique enough, I could certainly be swayed. I definitely like the price of it, and a wave of more affordable Hogwarts expansion sets would be really nice. Fingers crossed the rest of the wave gets announced soon and hopefully includes a Deathly Hallows Ron!

I could be completely off, but the way the name of the set is not very specific leads me to believe it’s more of a display piece than a play set. I’m picturing either a microscale depiction of key scenes from the first movie (which is overdone at this point), or some sort of diorama. Possibly a book nook or art set. It just seems odd to title a set “First Year at Hogwarts Castle” if it only depicts the Great Hall, you know? A name like that feels like it should be all-encompassing of all the Hogwarts events/scenes from the first movie. And if it really is the Great Hall and based on the first movie, it’ll probably be the sorting ceremony, which is weird considering a $15 sorting ceremony set is currently on shelves. As for Harry Meets Dobby, I guess we’re just getting a $15 version of Harry’s (or should I say, Dudley’s second) bedroom? That seems a bit boring. Not sure what else it could be unless it’s some sort of gimmick or diorama or art thing. If they really wanted to create a $15 set with Dobby, I feel like a remake of Dobby’s Release would have been a better choice. But for $15, I’ll probably get it anyway unless it’s really dumb. Fingers crossed we get some sets for the third movie and on (especially fifth and on) because I’m getting tired of sets mostly being from the first two movies.

Anyone remember approximately when we’ve gotten January set names in the past? It would be very exciting to get those very soon, but I don’t want to get my hopes up yet. January 2027 set names would likely give us a clue if the current Hogwarts system will continue or if it’ll get rebooted again. Unrelated, but now that we have a doe Patronus, I’m hoping they’ll finally make a DH part 1 trio tent camping set with the locket horcrux battle scene! In general, I’d just be really happy the less sets we get from the first two movies (unless it’s something new, like a unicorn in the forest set now that the unicorn from the new cmf exists).
-
Essentially 😂 Just something fresh because we’ve already seen Dumbledore’s Office so many times, so having it be the Deathly Hallows scene would be so interesting.
-
Waiting for the East Wing to leak has been agony! I’m also very curious about the Dumbledore’s Office book nook, but there would have to be something really special and unique about it to make me spend $130 on it considering I have the Main Tower set that has a good enough version of the office. Is the general consensus that May 2nd (Battle of Hogwarts day) is the official reveal date? If that’s the case, we might not even get those leaks at this point because that’s only like a week away!
-
I’m kinda thinking the doe and phoenix might both come in the book nook and nothing in the east wing. If the book nook is Dumbledore’s Office, it’s probably the scene where Snape says “Always”, and it makes sense his patronus would be there then. And since I don’t believe Dumbledore appears in the east wing set but he would appear in his office, his phoenix would probably come there with him. Though that would be a big bummer to not get a Patronus in the east wing. But since the owner of each patronus comes in the sets with the patronus, I don’t see any way for the doe or Phoenix to be in the east wing. I guess we’ll have to wait for official pictures to know for sure! but these new molds look awesome! Is the dog an existing mold, or is it new?
-
Did we ever determine which Patronuses will be included in the new sets? I think we know Harry’s stag will be in the Expecto Patronum set and Ron’s dog in the Knockturn Alley set (based on the sketches). Was there any word on what might be included in the East Wing or any other sets?
-
Hahaha true, I should have specified adult-sized Ron gets excluded. Plenty of little legged Rons in sets! To everyone who wants the golden trio and silver trio to be included, my money is on: Harry Hermione Neville Luna I just don’t see all 6 being included (would LOVE to be proven wrong), and I feel like Ron and Ginny would be the easiest to skip since Harry is a requirement, then Hermione, Neville, and Luna are probably the most popular characters. Arthur will probably be the only Weasley included, or maybe Percy too if they really want to branch out. A Battle of the Department of Mysteries set has been one of my top most wanted sets forever, and I’m just really hoping to minifigure selection is great (which for me, includes all of the golden trio and silver trio along with the Order and some death eaters).
-
Here’s my prediction for Ministry of Magic minifigures if we get 15 in the set! 1. Not Ron 2. Not Ron 3. Not Ron 4. Not Ron 5. Not Ron 6. Not Ron 7. Not Ron 8. Not Ron 9. Not Ron 10. Not Ron 11. Not Ron 12. Not Ron 13. Not Ron 14. Not Ron 15. Not Ron Lego sure loves to pretend Ron doesn’t exist :(

I know I tend to ask this periodically, but I really enjoy hearing your answers! What sets/minifigures would you guys most like to be made? For me, my top 3 sets would probably be: - A DHp1 set depicting Harry and Ron defeating the locket horcrux. Ideally, it would also include the Doe patronus and possibly even the tent they camp in. I feel like this set would be a no-brainer for Lego to make, but for some reason they still haven’t made it. - An OotP set depicting the book version of the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, which would feature multiple small rooms such as the hall of prophecies, the veil room, the brain room, the door room, the time turner room, the planets room, etc. I’d love it to include Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Neville, Luna, Lucius, Bellatrix, Dolohov, and an Order member or two, but I know that’s unrealistic. I just think it would be such a cool set with lots of playability and display ability. - A HBP Astronomy Tower battle remake that also includes elements from OotP, such as Umbridge’s office, the room of requirement, Fred and George’s fireworks, Slughorn’s class, etc. It could include Harry, Draco, Dumbledore, Snape, a death eater (Bellatrix or Greyback), Fred and George, Umbridge, a DA member or two (a Ravenclaw and a Hufflepuff), and maybe Slughorn or Lavender. Really, I’d just love to see more Year 5 and up sets because they’ve done just about every Year 1-4 set that they could, except for a few (Unicorn in the Forest, Third Task, Passageway to Hogsmeade remake, etc). As far as minifigures go, I just want a DH Ron at this point. I’d also love a version of Harry based on his appearance in the PS1/PS2 Harry Potter video games, though that’s very unlikely. What would you guys like to see in the future?
-
Wait, so the only 3 play scale sets this next wave will be Knockturn Alley, Hogwarts East Wing, and Expecto Patronum? That’s kind of a bummer. Did we determine the Dobby set is for sure a buildable Dobby and not a playset of Dobby being freed? If there really are only those 3 sets with minifigures, we can expect the Expecto Patronum set to come with Harry’s stag patronus, and then maybe like Ron’s or Snape’s in Knockturn Alley and then theirs or Dumbledore’s (or maybe Ginny’s but I doubt hers would be prioritized) in the East Wing? That is kind of a letdown to only get 3 patronuses, unless they come in the buildable things sets, but I kind of doubt that.
-
Out of curiosity, does anyone know why we haven’t migrated to a 2026 forum yet? I’m not sure how that works or who is in charge of that, but I figure it’ll happen sometime soon.

My thoughts regarding patronuses for this wave: -76462: Hogwarts House Symbol (14+, 542 pcs.) - no patronus - 76469: Dobby the Free Elf (8+, 379 pcs.) - hopefully a playset with Lucius, Harry, Dobby, and Dumbledore. In that case, the patronus could be either Harry’s stag or Dumbledore’s Phoenix. - 76471: Knockturn Alley Shops (8+, 788 pcs.) - hopefully a HBP set, meaning it could include Harry and/or Ron and therefore either of their patronuses. There’s always a SLIGHT chance they include Arthur or Kingsley as Order members patrolling or something, which could give us their patronuses. Or Snape since he’s a death eater. But it’s most likely Harry or Ron. - 76473: Hogwarts East Wing (10+, 2164 pcs.) - I’d imagine Harry, Ron, Snape, and Dumbledore are all likely candidates to be in this set, so it could be any of their patronuses. I could also see Seamus being in this set and including his patronus, but I doubt they’d prioritize including his patronus over some other ones for more important characters. If it’s the Chamber of Secrets, maybe it’s Ginny and her horse? Or a slight chance of Cho and her swan. - 76474: Hogwarts Courtyard Plants (14+, 817 pcs.) - probably not a playset, so therefore no patronuses. For the other two sets, it’s too soon to tell, but I’d imagine one or both of them will have patronuses. If one’s an advent calendar, I could see them including a patronus as one of the days or include it with a minifigure.

I just realized two sets off my wishlist are in this Jan 1st wave! My list from a few months ago: DH Locket Horcrux Battle / Tent DH Shell Cottage DH Forbidden Forest Scene DH Blowing Up the Bridge *any set with DH Ron* HBP Inferi Cave HBP Astronomy Tower HBP Slughorn Potions Class OotP Battle of the Department of Mysteries / Hall of Prophecies OotP Room of Requirement Remake GoF Third Task Maze GoF First Task Remake PoA Passageway to Honeydukes remake PoA Lupin’s Boggart Class CoS or PoA or HBP Quidditch Pitch CoS Slytherin Common Room PS/SS Unicorn in the Forbidden Forest PS/SS House Points Hourglasses I’m happy to see Lupin’s classroom and the house points hourglasses making their appearances! Based on what’s left of my list, I’m going to make a prediction on what the summer wave will be, including which patronus will be included! 76462: 14+ (545 pcs.) - probably non-minifigure scale. Maybe a buildable giant Aragog or Basilisk. 76469: 8+ (379 pcs.) - Maybe Forest of Dean with Doe patronus? Though I’m not fully convinced Snape would appear in the set, and they seem to keep the patronus with their owner. 76471: 8+ (788 pcs.) - Shell cottage maybe? Roughly the size of Luna’s house. Could include Ron and his dog patronus. OR another Diagon alley shop expansion, but still probably includes Ron and his dog patronus. 76473: 10+ (2164 pcs.) - most likely a Hogwarts expansion such as the viaduct entrance, including the chamber of secrets and Slytherin common room. Probably includes a Dumbledore figure and Phoenix patronus. If for some reason they include more than one patronus in this set since it’s the biggest one, possibly Snape’s Doe could appear here instead of the Forest of Dean. 76474: 14+ (817 pcs.) - probably non-minifigure scale. Maybe another book nook? 76475: (244 pcs.) - Probably a small classroom expansion. Maybe Divination? Will likely include Harry and his stag patronus. 76477: (480 pcs.) - maybe a new quidditch pitch or other standalone Hogwarts location (similar to the boathouse, herbology greenhouse, and Owlery). The patronus could be Ginny’s horse or Cho’s swan, depending on who is included in the set. If it’s a HBP quidditch pitch, then Ginny. If it’s POA, then Cho. I’d love to hear any of your predictions as well! -

I really hope this is true, because I’ve been wanting a Forest of Dean set for so long!! It definitely would be the perfect fit for a Doe patronus, but (to my knowledge) since a Doe mold does not already exist, I’m not sure if they would make a new one or not. My ideal forest of dean would be a build of the tent, a small build of the lake, maybe a small build to represent the dark Horcrux magic, the locket, the doe, and the sword. Minifigure-wise, ideally we’d see Harry, Ron, Hermione, and maybe a Snatcher or something (like Scabior). But Deathly Hallows Ron is a MUST. As far as Patronuses go for this upcoming wave, I feel like the Stag is practically guaranteed along with a high likelihood for a dog. If they’re willing to make a new mold, then Snape’s Doe for sure. I could also see them using a goat for Aberforth or reusing the Phoenix mold for Dumbledore. I would love to see Ginny’s horse, and it would be cool to get a new swan mold for Cho. Otherwise, that leaves Seamus’s fox, Ernie’s boar, Arthur’s weasel, and Kingsley’s lynx. Those are what I can remember off the top of my head. Realistically, probably only like 3 of the sets will have patronuses, given how in this January wave, the Escape from Privet Drive set does not have one. It seems kind of random when they include a patronus in a set or not. I guess once the set names are released, we can have a better idea as to which minifigures will be in sets and which patronuses are likely to be included. -

I mean, it is the battle of the SEVEN potters after all! The more Harrys, the merrier! And it never hurts to have a bonus Hagrid! My plan is to get 2-3 of this set to army-build my death eaters and Harrys, haha! -

The wait for the Hospital Wing images to drop is driving me crazy! In the meantime, does anyone have any guesses as to what the minifigs will look like? Do we think the trio will be in normal robes with medium legs? Will they have new robe prints? Will they be in their casual clothes from the climax of PoA? Will Lupin and the Dementor be new or existing designs? What hairpieces will the gray lady and Penelope Clearwater use? -

Any idea when we might start seeing set images leak? I can’t remember when we got the first images last year. Should be soon-ish, right? -

I could totally be wrong, but I thought anniversary bonus things didn’t count toward the set. For example, the golden minifigures in the 20th anniversary wave didn’t count toward the minifigure count / overall cost of the set. So that’s why I figure the stag would be in that set. It would make sense to have the main character’s patronus in a cheaper / easily accessible set (like how they included golden Harry in the cheap polyjuice potion set in 2021). Though if you are correct that it would count against the set, then for sure they would not include it since they’re already giving us 4 figures (one being Hagrid) in a cheaper set! Though if they wanted to include a smaller patronus instead (like Ron’s, Arthur’s, Fred/George’s, or Kingsley), I wouldn’t be mad since I already have Harry’s patronus from 2019! I would think they wouldn’t wait until the summer to give us the main character’s patronus, but who knows at this point. And you’re totally right about Aberforth’s goat! I’d honestly be surprised if we don’t see it at some point since it’s a preexisting mold and one of the few patronuses that are corporeally featured in the series. -

Just going to list some thoughts I have on this wave with what we know so far! - I’m super excited about the patronus animals being included in sets! We have confirmed Lupin’s wolf, Hermione’s otter, and Luna’s hare. If the rest of the minifigure scale sets come with animals, my money is on Harry’s stag in the Hagrid motorbike set, McGonagall’s cat in the sorting hat set (since they both already exist in older sets), and then maybe others in the summer wave? Such as Ron’s dog, Ginny’s horse, or Dumbledore’s Phoenix, since those would just need to be recolors of existing molds. - The Hagrid’s motorbike set is probably what I’m most excited for because this is the set I thought the brick built one was going to be, and I’ve been wanting what’s essentially a death eater battle pack! I’m assuming they’ll be two identical figures, but it’ll be nice to get some more death eaters regardless! - The hospital wing set intrigues me. Now that I know it’s most likely POA, I’m more excited about it, though I do have and love the previous hospital wing set. Ideally for me, it would have the clock tower exterior with a hospital wing top floor, lupin’s dada classroom and /or office below, and then somehow incorporate the one eyed witch statue with a hole underneath that leads to the tunnel to honeydukes. And ideally it would come with a Lupin figure. But I may be getting my hopes up too much. - The new Ford Anglia set sounds interesting now that we know a brick built Harry and Ron will come in it, but still going to be a pass for me. But I’m looking forward to seeing it! Same with the Cornish pixie. Not for me, but I’m sure it’ll be cool to see! - Not including Ron in the Lovegood house set is inexcusable in my opinion. There are only 4 actually characters in that scene (the trio and Xeno), so they should be guaranteed in the set. Plus Luna and two death eaters would be icing on top. But I’m really getting frustrated how Ron only gets included in year 1 or 2 sets and we barely get him with medium legs or regular legs anymore! I believe the only older Ron currently on shelves is the new Hogsmeade set, whereas every other Ron appearance currently has short legs. Not sure what Lego has against older Ron, but I really need a DH1 camping / locket horcrux battle set with Ron, as well as a set with DH2 Ron! - Sorting hat set sounds basic, but since it’s inexpensive, I’ll probably get it. I’d love Lego to continue making affordable sets with lots of minifigures! Just like the 2019 Rise of Voldemort set! - Cauldron set sounds interesting in theory, but it’s a bummer it only has two minifigures for that price. Especially since they’re nearly guaranteed to be existing figures, such as the ones in the current potions class set. Might be cool for kids to have a big brick built cauldron to add potion ingredients to if that’s what it’s going to be, but probably not a set for me. - Similarly, the Philosopher’s Stone set sounds basically like a remake of the Icons set from a few years ago, so that’s an easy pass. Even the trio figures will probably be the same as the Main Tower set or very similar, so nothing too exciting there. Okay, I think those are all my current thoughts Lol. Looking forward to hopefully getting more info and pictures soon! -

I’d be happy with Sirius! But I’m holding out hope that BrickMatit was right and it’s actually the one-eyed witch statue, which hopefully means a bit of the tunnel to honeydukes is included in the set! Despite it being small and basic, I absolutely love the 2004 version and would love to see it remade! -

I love your additions!! Your castle expansions would be so cool to see come true, particularly the OotP one and HBP one because we hardly ever get sets from those films! Also, I never considered a first task with all 4 dragons, but now that’s a must-have (though I doubt Lego will create that)! Those are super cool!! Let’s hope they are included in the sorting hat set, but if not, I might have to create some customs inspired by yours! -

Hey all! Since we’re all pondering what new sets could be in store for the future, and since LEGO does appear to be listening to our requests in some regard (Lovegood House, Malfoy Manor, a better Hagrid’s Motorbike set, Dobby’s Sock, etc.), I’m just curious what sets you all might like to see in the future! Despite some remakes, I feel there is still definitely some room for new sets or some improvement for older ones! Here are some of mine that I’d like to see: DH Locket Horcrux Battle / Tent DH Shell Cottage DH Forbidden Forest Scene DH Blowing Up the Bridge *any set with DH Ron* HBP Inferi Cave HBP Astronomy Tower HBP Slughorn Potions Class OotP Battle of the Department of Mysteries / Hall of Prophecies OotP Room of Requirement Remake GoF Third Task Maze GoF First Task Remake PoA Passageway to Honeydukes remake PoA Lupin’s Boggart Class CoS or PoA or HBP Quidditch Pitch CoS Slytherin Common Room PS/SS Library PS/SS Unicorn in the Forbidden Forest PS/SS House Points Hourglasses Some of these could easily be smaller $20-$30 ish sets, which are often some of my favorite sets, like the 2019 Expecto Patronum and the 2019 Rise of Voldemort! I would also love to see the 4 minifigure packs return to give us a Death Eater battle pack! Let us know your thoughts and if you have any other ideas to add! -

If it’s not Hermione, it’s probably Katie Bell, right? She would likely have that hair and she would make sense to include since she plays Quidditch.
