  1. I voted blue, because then u can use the red shoulderpads. I always look at the blue coats as navy and the reds as army, i use them both.
  2. I wonder if its possible to print it on cloth? I'm sure gonna try *sweet*
  3. After studying the real forts in the carribean, i discovered that often only the buildings on top were plastered. The walls just left in stone. Look op the battery of cartagena for instance. Tan would also be nice for authentic walls i think........ (maybe when i win the lottery eh? :-D ) I would have liked to do it in all grey, but i ran out of bricks, so maybe i'll downsize it. I want to use the white and yellow for my harbour buildings. *wacko* Love your new signature pic BTW! I'venever seen a toilet on a lego fort, however most real forts had one like this. Just a hole in the wall, with a wooden plank. Dumping immediatly into the ocean *sweet*
  4. Very usefull this library, the front sail of my BSB is missing :'-(
  5. I've put two new pictures in the folder, hope u like these better. I'm not a photografer, i'm a ship builder :-D
  6. X-D I'd like to see skeleton lims flying around!!
  7. Very nice ships captain K! I sure wouldn't wanna battle with the leopard :-$
  8. It's a headlight from the large blue hotrod, sort of a dish without a stud. You could also use a chrome 2x2 dish, looks almost as good. The top is a custom part and i hung the top part of a lever in there to ring it.
  9. Haven't you ever seen the holes in the back of the pants? Didn't you know the meaning of them?? :-D
  10. Just make the ropes tight, almost like a piano string, without pulling the bricks apart. Then you can just weave in the ratlines, with only a single knot on each side.
  11. I'm proud to say that the cannons are my design. The drawbridge is a bit of a lame copy of the one on torre de belem. A fort i really like, it's in the index to, the grey one. (though the white one's nice too) I had a week off, so a lot of time on my hands :-D What do you think of the toilet?
  12. Congratiulations Tony! U sure have the biggest boobs, wich doctor did you see? :-D
  13. Looking good so far Phred! Is this the waterline of the ship, or are you going to contstruct the underside also? I wonder if the bow shouldn't be a bit sloped forward, i like the round shape of it though. Keep it up, i'm seeing forward to the result!
  14. Hello and welcome fellow dutchman!
  15. The last brick has been layed, fort Esperance is finished. More pictures be here: Fort Esperance on Brickshelf Enjoy!
  16. I think you can add this link: http://forum.drydockmodels.com/viewtopic.php?t=9 Great for shipbuilding i think :'-)
  17. Yeah to bad it takes so long to go public..... You've noticed the tumblehome effect very good Bonaparte! But be patient, it's worth it!
  18. I think it's a nice smal ship, with nice lines. It's not too expensive and can be a nice adittion to a harbour. As u said it could use an anchor and a steering wheel. I'd add 2 mid sections too i think, and rebuild the thing completely :'-) Nice review mr. Tiber!
  19. 37d My 24 gun frigate Le Requin is finally finished *sweet* More pictures be here: Le Requin on Brickshelf Hope u like it! Check out the updated version! Edit by Phred: put in updated link.
  20. The ship looks reasonable, but you can't rebuild it to your own taste... For that i don't like it, but it's great for kids i think.
  21. I voted fat Tony's, it's very original i think and the boos are bigger=]
  22. Tony's entry looks good! This is gonnabe a tough competition!
  23. I always base my ships loosely on real ships and look a ot at pictures. I usually have enough bricks to build and do a lot of experimenting on techniqeus. The rest i get of BL, i spend somewhere around of 75 euro's per month right now.
  24. Correct me if i'm wrong, Stickers are ok, but a hidden piece of tape, wich also sticks is not??? :S (i'm confused) I love your entry sir nadroj, it's very original and fits the cartoonisch style of the ship perfect!
