This looks great. I do feel a little concerned Kuiil is absent because this was the best chance to get him, but the exterior model looks good. The Child looks perfect, the scout trooper is good to get, and we may get a slightly updated Mando in the final version. I also cannot blame them for the high price given how in demand the set will be. Unlike the Grievous Star fighter there is clear content here that I can bare the $20-30 dollars more.

I liked all new movies, but at the same time the only one I actually committed getting most sets from was R1. I skipped the Tie and the rebel battle pack, but that was it. Honestly it all comes down to prices and timing.

Is it possible that the cancelled sets were action battle sets due to them under performing? There is no way to know, but that seems like a possibility.

Clearly a custom. Shame, but what you expect from a feed anyone can tag as a legoleak.

I mean even if the RazorCrest is not a thing, which I doubt with that :), that ship is a matter of when rather than if.

I agree with the consensus that some of the red should have been swapped with some orange. I also think trans brown tiles could have covered some of the surface, making it look more molten obsidian look.

Holiday figures aside, last year's advent had some strong choices like the Cloud Car Pilot, the Tantive Rebel redesign and exiled Luke. Would anyone say if the side figures in 2020 one is better or worse than that?

I did not notice the Mando and Child Brickhead until now, that is a really nice surprise. I have never gotten a Brickhead, but I think I will make an exception for this one. I am also glad it was a set we did not know about on the list.

One of the $30 sets being a Jedi Starfighter would not surprise me. Normally they hang around the $25 range, with exceptions to larger builds like the $40 Azure Angle from 2015 and the $20 Anakin's Jedi Starfighter from 2018, which was shockingly under priced for Lego. So a $30 fighter would be within reason. It would probably be an interceptor to be a cheap hero craft to fight the Soulless One. The only non interceptor fighter I could see is a remake of Plo Koon's due to him using it throughout the Clone Wars and even into Revenge of the Sith.

The figures will have to do some heavy lifting for the AAT if it is that small, but I may get it anyway since it would be cheap. I have held off getting any sets with the Nights of Ren until it was clear that all would be released, and The Night Buzzard basically confirms this. I will bricklink Trudgen and Vicrul, but was already tempted to get the Command Shuttle, so now two big Villain ships are on my list. The size disparity between the two is going to be fun for display though.

I seriously doubt a new Snowspeeder would happen so soon with the fact that the 4+ version just came out. Sure, different demographics, but it is not like the X-Wing and Tie fighters having overlap because the price gap would be so small between the two that it makes no sense economically. Lego loves Snowspeeders and barely changed re-releases, but they are not that oblivious. As far as what a system set for the spring wave could be, I do agree that it could be anything and will stick out no matter what. Could be ROS, FO, or an older film set. Or it could be a gimmicky set.

Yeah an AT-AT is well within the realm of possibility, but I will reserve judgement until hard evidence comes out. Well, C-3PO showed up in an AT-AT once for some reason, so who knows?

Nah man the generator has gotta have 4 spring loaded missiles and a six stud shooter to destroy the oncoming AT-ATs.

That looks very nice build wise. I wonder what it would look if the dark bley 1X2 curved slope pieces were replaced with sand green ones. I feel like it would not brighten the ship too much, but would break up the sense of grey and better resemble the UCS set.

I am going to apologize for bringing up the Arc-170 as a prospective set. My joke of an expensive starfighter set was more of a cynical criticism of Lego's current pricing that warped into a larger debate than it needed to be. However, before other people rightfully got tired of the speculation I tried remind people that we veered off topic. I am also self aware that as a new user this makes me seen in bad light. I am still sorry and will stay on target. And as far as the setting being cooler than the prequels, I genuinely have no idea, but I am open for anything.

Yeah, in hindsight $140 for the ARC-170 would not be that surprising. If it was that price point, it had better come with 3 pilots and another figure though to justify it. Also, I am going to take a step back and remind everyone that this is just speculation, so that no one only halfway reading this thread gets the idea that an ARC-170 is coming out.

Yeah the closest mold would be the dark azure and purple dragon from Fantastic beasts, but even then the frills are too short and it has horns boga lacks. Plus, using a unique mold from one licensed theme in another licensed theme sounds like a legal disaster.

That said there is a big difference from a mold being used once and it still existing now. I will say that I would still buy a Wheel Bike vs. Boga Microfighter in a heartbeat, but I just have soft spot for the creature microfighters.

I think chances for the ARC-170 skyrocket with this news. It is a prequel set that was last released a decade ago, just like the Soulless One, and it fits as a another big, overpriced starfighter. It seems the perfect combination of safe and wanted.
