I was at the Chadstone LLDC in Melbourne and they had none in stock and no idea when they would come. I am very happy that I went that day as there was only one of the Hagrid and the Golden trio brickheadz, and two of the death eaters brickheadz. Not to mention we would soon be going into lockdown in Melbourne, so I’m very thankful that I was able to pick them up. I am also worried about getting the poly bag. I found the first at the LLDC, but I haven’t been able to get last years. With the looming idea of being able to see the CFC from inside the bag, I really hope they show up.

If there was a third CMF, I really hope that they include characters that would be hard to fit in a normal set. Aunt Marge is one that comes to the mind as I think it’ll be while to get another Privet drive.

Do we have any idea on whether there will be a winter wave. Last year we had the 4 moments sets as well as an art set (if that even counts). Will we get more books, a small selection of normal sets or nothing at all. The book were very last minute and unexpected, so it does make sense that we don’t know about a winter wave yet. There was also a recent interview with Marcos Bessa where he noted that they are still some “Major players” that are missing from the golden figs and that we can take from that what we will. Assuming that the 2022 summer wave won’t be anniversary, it would make sense that they could be in the winter. Then again, there is a good change that there will be not be a wave, so I should get a head of myself. It seems that this wave suggests that the designers are transitioning the theme to be longer running by starting new groups of sets ( Maxifigs, hogsmead/ at least hogs head and shrieking shack/, buildable objects, moments, finishing the forbidden corridor). So one step of that might be having a small wave in January. I would like to hear other’s thoughts. Or a leaker that can just say that there is no winter wave.

Are they house related. As in do they feature the house objects. That would also work for minifigures. We could get updated house founders or the house ghosts.

When you said that the D2C would be good for minifigure collectors. Is that because there are none, so we don’t have to fork over all that cash. Or are there a couple of really cool minifigures or even some golden ones as well.

I just built the first 2 bags of Hogsmead and oh. It is just gorgeous. Didn’t have to many problems with stickers. But am annoyed about cards . As typing this, I realise that I am actually very lucky with my chocolate frog cards. From by first 3 sets I got PPM: Mcgonagall and Gryffindor FE: Hufflepuff and Maxine FFL: slytherin and Snape I couldn’t wait and looked through my bags to see disappointment. And I did. I got Hufflepuff, Mcgonagall, Snape and Piquery 1 new one sadly. But after reading horror stories of 5 jocunda Sykes and 4 Oliveranders, I’ve embraced my inevitable repeats and thankful that I’m 7/10.

I too am annoyed about the lack of Polly bags in Australia. I was able to get the platform cart poly bag from LLDC in chadstone. I have been trying to find last year’s for a while and gave up months ago. Now I really want to see this one in person, so I can get my missing CFCs. I’ll let you know if I find them.

Thanks, it seems like we have a lot of Aussies in the chat. I am very happy about Kmart as they always seem to have discounts. Last year they came a month late, but it is looking better his year. I have a Kmart in my 5km. I am also near chadstone, but I don’t want to have to go through the same things as last year. Although I will probably order the brick heads as soon as possible.

I just though I would ask, just in case there were any other people who lived in Melbourne (Australia not Florida). Have you seen any sightings of the new sets. I know last year they came out a couple of days before June 1st, so if anyone does see anything let me know. I was also wondering if anyone knew what the ‘select retailers’ are for Australia. I want to avoid going to chadstone at any cost, so if it K mart or Big W that would be great. thanks

As the lacking interiors were my biggest gripe with the 2018-2020 waves. This makes mine glow with happiness. That great hall set looks fantastic. It was my favourite of the preliminary picture and this just continues to delight. The teachers! Oh, the teacher. All 4 of them look amazing. I am disappointed that Lockheart doesn’t have a cape, but that’s okay. Although this is a far weaker ‘great hall’. What they include in it, is different enough for me to gloss over the repeated structure. The divination objects above the great hall are cool, although it suggests that we won’t be getting a proper divination room for a while. ( however, I though the same thing about the chamber of secrets and Tom riddle from the book. The lectern and the dueling clubs aspects are the main sellers for this room and I am fine with that. Lockheart’s classroom and office are great, they seem like better versions of the offices and classrooms from the older Hogwarts modules. The chamber itself is perfect. It fits under the castle, tick, it includes Salazar Slytherin’s head, tick, enterence from the bathroom, tick. The ninjago head stands are an incredible added bonus. Dumbledore looks more beautiful than ever, and I adore the colour scheme. Sinestra is my favourite Minifigure from the bunch. I am excited to place her in my astronomy tower. I like the look of the fluffy set, mostly because of the connectable ability. The castle section is fine and fits it’s purpose. I am happy that the devil snare is there, because otherwise I would have a lot of questions. It’s a shame that we will have no way to the winged keys or the final challenge room will come this wave. ( unless they sneak them in to the flying lesson set, although that is just be dreaming) I agree. For me it’s not all that. I would take the great hall over hogsmead everyday and twice on Sunday’s. That’s not to say it looks bad, I will buy it and enjoy it, and the minifigure selection for me is exciting, as I like obscure character. It just looks slightly boring. Maybe it will be better in person. It’s good, but not incredible.

Isn’t there usually 6 minifigures in the advent calendar. So far we only have 5. Griphook, Dudley and the golden trio. So are we expecting another figure, or are we only getting 5 today

This is so exciting, I’m actually really impressed. However, what are the weird side black builds. Rocks or fallen chess pieces?

I recon that we have just the right amount leaked figure to get excited for the set, but still a large portion to be excited for when the final leak comes. Although, still, the more minifigures leaks the better, but we have reached a point where the amount we have is decent. On a different topic, have you guys seen many of the HP series 2 minifigures around. Maybe it just the part of Melbourne I am in, but my god. There are series 20, disney series 2 and I even found a store with the original Harry Potter series. However in all the kmarts, Woolworths, toy stores and Legoland discovery centres, I can’t find series 2 of HP. I have a couple of theories. 1: Maybe they just sold well. I find it hard to believe, although in my opinion series 2 is better than series 1. I just can’t see it selling incredibly well or hound kids getting really excited about them. 2: Maybe because second series don’t sell as well, they made less stock so that they sold what they made. So that they aren’t shelve warmers forever like the Simpsons series 2 was. 3: (What I think is most likely). Maybe they phased them out really quickly along with series 21, to make room for Vidyo. Speaking of Kmarts, there are so many Vidyo blind series boxes. So maybe they phased out the series so that they could make room for Vidyo and make that a success

I feel like we are on the brink of a big leak. I can smell it . It smells like buildable objects and unprinted dresses. But seriously, we are so close. A couple more leaked figures, and I recon we are going to have a good idea of what to expect. I for one was always most excited about the COS. And these new leaks are making it better. I have two major questions about that set though. That new pixie mould has no place in any other set other than the COS, but are we certain that the pixie is coming in it. The other thing that I am not certain about is the golden Quirrill/Goldermort, the original leak said that Golden Quirrell and Hooch should come in the same set because they were packaged together when they got them. Is there anyone who can confirm whether Goldermort is the same as Golden Quirrel?

I have always been on the ‘ June wave is really awesome’ train. And these new minifigures leaks are just getting me more excited. Now that fawkes is $40, that is a lot easier purchase. If the chess set is really the rest of the forbidden corridor that is also good news. No matter what the buildable figures look like, I will not be buying them. They are just one type of set, I just don’t like. ooooooo, very mysterious. I am getting excited. What do people think this means.

2 thing I just wanted to ask about. that is a Yule-ball Dumbledore, right. Is that just part of the prototype or will that be the dumbledore coming in the set. further, what is that weird circular arch that Tom riddle is standing in. The snake door to the chamber of secret is connected to the ‘tower’ building, so what is it for.

I recon that while Ootp maybe one of the weaker films, the soundtrack gets me every time. That Umbridge theme is perfect and the music when Fred and George playing with fireworks is spot on.

Out of question, do we know what the interior of the grand staircase tower is going to be. I hope for either Dumbledore’s office or the divination classroom at the top. Maybe some moving staircases with paintings on the walls.

Good to know I am exciting for many beasts that are still to come. Fluffy, fang, Errol, werewolves and a decent basilisk. although has anyone thought how that transparent blue cylinder containing a fly included in the AT Could represent Rita skeeter in animagus form. Although I think she is a beetle, but if that was included ( with a beetle printed instead) in the cmf with a potential Rita figure That would be cool.

I know. I don’t really want a whole box. But I want a full set. Buying full sets on eBay is usually really expensive, plus they always have ridiculous postage prices to Australia. This time we can’t feel so I have no idea what I’m going to do.

How long do people think this Harry Potter line will last. As in, do you think it will be an evergreen theme or it will end in 2 years. Or 3 years. I hope it doesn’t turn into Star Wars. With 70 sets a year and repeats of every set even though they are missing so many scenes.
