I know they can't update the first page as things are still rumors, but can any one save me from digging through the past 50 pages? I haven't seen many people talk about a new Hogwarts Express. Wouldn't that fit the August wave from what we know? I mean it would be a bit of a disappointment to most people here fitting what the leakers have said. It would be a good choice for an anniversary set. And Lego absolutely would want some for of Hogwarts and the Hogwarts Express on toy shelves year after year.

This thread has more pages than the first three Harry Potter books, and it's closing in on being as long as the Half Blood Prince.

I saw Astronomy Tower and Private Drive at Quincy Buckley

When were the Patils released? and the CHo in her ball gown?

The one time we've seen some thing like that was the Ultimate Millennium Falcon 75192. It had young Han, Leia, Chewie, 3PO and Finn, Rey and Old Han. But that was a $700 set aiming to be the biggest and best Lego ever made.

Just had a thought. Last year Barnes and Nobel had an exclusive window to sell the sets before anyone else in the US. Maybe there is a similar arrangement this year where the sets won't go to smaller retailers on June 1st, and that's why we aren't seeing leaks from smaller retailers. I'd be surprised how ever if a retailer had an exclusive window world wide.
-
I don't think there is any need to worry, Promobricks gets a lot of scoops, and there last word was to check back after next weekend. I know people went back and forth over which weekend that was, but no leaks yet supports the idea that it is the weekend of May 2nd and 3rd.

That site lists the Great Hall as high risk of retiring.

I'd be a bit worried. They won't make what retailers won't stock. And while it's a popular set, a store like Target isn't going to make a display with 4-5 Harry Potter lego sets around $100. So they're not going to have the Great Hall, Clock Tower, Astronomy Tower, Privat Drive, and The Burrows. They want a few sets under $50 a few mid level sets, and a few premium sets.

How can some one buy the complete set of CMF when they come out? Last time, I tried to buy about a dozen at retail stores, but after getting too many duplicates, I ended up on ebay for the rest.
-
I'd like a James Potter. With Wormtail, Lupin and Sirius out already I'd like to have all four of the marauders.
-
There was a Norman Osborne on #lego leaks that looked much like a older Weasly. I think it was a custom

What were the six best?

Whether or not we ever get a black Hermoine, I hope we end up with a few more people of color just for the pretend play options for kids. Both of my daughters have made their own minifigs and put them in our Hogwarts play set, I'd like that to be an option for most families. Which is why I hope they also give us a few more Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff students so we have some more options, I'd like to see black robes for all houses to match the ones Harry, Ron and Hermoine had in the last CMF set.

I wish I knew about that site a year ago. My kids and I got into Harry Potter Lego with the 2018 sets, I went on eBay to look for older minifigs to round out our collection, I thought I was getting official figures for old sets, but ended up with counterfeits, Now, I use Bricklink and Brickset to find out what official figures were put out and make sure I'm looking for those.

Is that a Great hall, Clock Tower and Womping WIllow X2?
-
I think I'm too new to post images in the thread, but I put some online. https://imgur.com/a/z5OTsXB Mine get played with fairly often by the kids. They're on shelves by height, so the Great Hall and Clock Tower, Then all the forest sets, Then the Smaller castle set, and quiditch field. I have picked specific mini-figs, that I've bought duplicates of that I've bagged and put away so once some get lost I can still have good displays.

Very true. It’s much like Privat Dr . The appeal of Harry Potter is leaving a normal house and home, getting a letter telling you that you’re special and going someplace magical. Privat Dr is an essential part of the fantasy. I hope it has all the classic parts like his bed under the stairs and letters from the fireplace.

I think Hedwig and Owls in general are huge in Asia. The China Market might be the target for a buildable Hedwig.

Expecto Patronum is about Harry saving that man. Overall the set focuses on the Patronus and harry defeating the Dementors. I guess the Inferi cave could work if it sets up the scene of Dumbledor defeating the Inferi, more than the part with the basin and locket.
-
I'm kinda surprised that so many people are expecting an Inferi cave, that scene is just so dark to be a good play set aimed at kids, but then I would have also thought that Umbridge paired with Centuars would be kinda dark too. I'm also surprised that after three years, most sets are castle pieces and forest scenes.

If they made a Chamber of Secrets set, would you expect it to connect the the side of the castle like the other sets? Fit under one of the sections of the castle? or be a stand alone set?
