The dawning of new beginnings I came out of my dark age in late 2018 as I caught a glimpse of my white whale. The purchase of a rebuilt (and slightly modified) complete series of the LBG Super Chief collection. Of course I needed some more track to run it on, the loop I had was from 4535, and I may as well go big. So I built the largest 9v design suggested by LEGO in their catalogues and even extended the lengths slightly. It didn't need to be 9v but I chose to build it as such purely for aesthetic reasons. Aesthetics. The track could be improved by ballasting and attaching it to baseplates, also moving it off the floor and onto tables. As one thing led to another I've now become invested in scale building researching things I could create but also theorizing a full future layout of detailed landscapes, distinct towns, and industry. I wouldn't be able to this this on my own which is why a team would need to be assembled. Builders specializing in landscape, architecture, layout designing, automobiles, locomotives and equipment.
