I couldn't agree more. This set is simply great. They are being released in Singapore as offer items making them close to US retail, as such, I got 5 of these. Just need to have those trucks and armored car for my little army. >:-)

Pop by S@H just a while ago and guess what, the castle knight, police and fireman impulse sets are listed for $3.49 each. Also on the police page, the surveillance truck is also listed. More things to get for christmas! :'-)

Well, I play by arranging my army in formations etc. I cannot describe the joy of arranging the small buggers in formation and then looking at them in their parade glory. It is the same with the castle figures I have right now. Anyway, it is 10 clones and 10 droids for me. I know of someone who actually owns 33 sets of each.... :-P

I find the designs for the 08 sets to be more exciting than the past releases. Anyway, was highly tempted to buy through S@H but decided otherwise since they will most likely be available in Singapore in Jan 08.... just need to be patient....

Came across 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer for only $50 at a local shopping department store several years back. Did not buy it because I was in my Lego Dark ages and I feel I do not have the space. Now I am paying $299 plus shipping to buy this..... :'-( Oh, and don't get me started on the 7264 Imperial Inspection set.... :-| More recently, was waiting to consolidate some lego purchase and was holding off on getting the Dwarf mine at Lego.com... and guess what, it went to "Sold Out"!! I can only pray that this is only temporary and I will still get my castle fix next year.

Supposed to open this over the weekend with my son. But so many things happening over the weekend that I don't have a time to sit down with him to pry them open. Will do some catchup this coming weekend. Anyway, my son can be quite persistent, might end up opening the rest just to see everything. It is hard to convince a 2 year old boy why he needs to wait..... *sweet*

The minifig stickers are just...fun stickers. They are just gimmicks for customisation and you could stick them outside the plane to customise it as a "lego city themed ANA plane". It is like the same concept that ANA adopted a few years back where they have their 747s painted with pokemon figures on their plane exterior. There is no mention about using this as alternative stickers for the minifig but I believe this is not a problem. Anyway, the sticker sheet and the amount of additional details it adds to the plane sure make this set awfully interesting. *sweet*

It seems like the official name is now "Combat Crawler". At least this is what the guy at the local lego shop told me from his list of sets from Lego.

Didn't had the chance to build it (deep in castle right now) but I still feel the set is great. The box is as big as the 7707 striking venom and I suppose the build will be close to that size. Anyway, this set is being sold at a discount in Singapore (S$69.90 ~ US$46 vs SRP S$101). I was pretty excited when the set was made available here when it isn't listed elsewhere. :-D
