I wanted to upgrade the original 2000s Slave 1, so I went to work and here's the final result. I'm pretty happy with how it came out, its almost the same dimensions as the original, being only two studs taller and longer.

I used yellow for the engines on the back due to the 1 x 4 brick not coming in orange.
I also have added a handle on the back for easy swooshing.

The wings fold down via gravity just like its predecessors.

Han solo fits in the back of the ship like a good little carbonite man.

I have a little tab that lifts up to hold Han Solo in, though not perfect does the job all the same. (He likes to abadon ship when swooshing too hard).

I trimmed some stickers from the resistance bomber 75188 for the windshield

His seat is so snug in there that I was unable to find a way to make his seat rotate from gravity when you lift the ship up. :(

But that's not all folks this ship holds more than meets the eyes. It has rotatable main cannons and retractable missiles!
