  1. I never understand how he manages to build such beautifully accurate models but still have a high level of functionality. Another masterpiece. tim
  2. The videos are beautifully done! Would you mind sharing the lighting/set used for the first video? tim
  3. Very small but cute . I love how it flies to the side when doing sharp turns. tim
  4. I think you have to be a certain rank before posting in that forum... tim
  5. Looks great! Drives pretty well too. tim
  6. You will be happy with the truck then, it has both mirrors, an interior with seats, and a steering wheel . tim
  7. Actually, yes you partially inspired me. I was looking for a load for the goose-neck truck and when I saw your thread I decided on a fellerbuncher. I was originally going to make a skidder to go along with it, but I ran out of PF receivers . The base is 100% MOC- the 8043 base is made from studless and does not hold any of the motors in it. tim
  8. Thank you, although I can not take complete credit: tim
  9. I saw the bug too while filming but i was to frustrated to stop and start over . A little behind the scenes, this shot for the video was about my 7th or 8th attempt so I did not want to stop and start over again. tim
  10. Thanks guys . Yes I will post more photos and a video within the next month . tim
  11. Hello all, I finally have the time to upload my latest MOC, a completely RC Feller Buncher. Originally this MOC was made as a load for my next MOC to be uploaded, a Mack truck with goose-neck trailer(which should be published within the next month). This MOC was actually one of the easier to build. For the most part, I had enough room in the super structure to fit all of the motors and electronics. Sorry Allanp, I used LA's because of their more precise control than pneumatic cylinders. Another first in this model, I have used high power RC Truck lights int he front and back. These LED's are so bright they can light a path for the machine! One of the most fun parts of the build was creating the feller head. I wanted to include the grapple and also a spinning blade at the bottom. Unfortunately I had no space for the blade. Some of the slopes are different colors because I do not have enough in yellow. The arm is very flexible and is very fun to play around with. I used Lego trees to practice on. The drive train was a challenge. I wanted to have the most ground clearance as possible, so I had to fit the motors inside the tracks. The resulting gear train actually works pretty well. The video gives a much more in depth review of the functions as well as some outside felling! Also, you can follow me on Facebook for more WIP photos and updates as I build. Facebook Page Thank you for looking at my MOC. Any comments and critique are appreciated. Tim
  12. Your design is very compact. I am a little disappointed at the huge size of the servo motor, but I will definitely use your idea! tim
  13. I think we might have been expecting to much from a set made by TLG. Obviously a official set is not going to be made to be able to climb such steep slopes. tim
  14. Nice video. Will you please make a video with the servo motor attached to a pneumatic switch? tim
  15. Very nice skidder. I have never managed to make one so compact. tim
  16. I find when I take apart MOCs I have no space left in my containers! I am amazed at the number of pins you have. How long did it take to collect all of them? tim
  17. Looks pretty cool. I like the small amount of chrome, not too overdone. tim
  18. Yes i would love detail photos from the final MOC. tim
  19. Wow I am in love with the studs! The car has a beautiful body! tim
  20. Posting on ebay? I saw the video as well, it looks like it performs really well! The truck travels surprisingly fast but still is able to overcome obstacles pretty well. I think when I get the set I am going to adda winch on teh front. tim
  21. There is already a topic about the motors: TOPIC tim
  22. You and your German engineering . Good luck! Will you take more detailed pictures of the axles and suspension set up? tim
  23. Looks great. I meant to say I saw the video on youtube in my earlier post. tim
  24. Wow shes beautiful!! Another awesome build effe. I assume a video is coming? tim
  25. Does it hurt the servo motor to be stopped at 90 degrees or some other step along the way? For example, would it be safe to have the servo motor hold a pneumatic switch open for a period of time? tim
