  1. I appreciate it!
  2. I never owned the fawks mold, so to be fair, I could only judge it from the pictures. How did you end up modding it? The tail-feather of mine keeps on popping off. Tangent aside, I hope we get a Fluffy (non-brick built) at some point, and that they make more sets from the first film.
  3. Does anyone know the color of the baseplates? Are we getting normal black ones, or ones with some sort of logo on them, or a completely different color? I'm praying we don't get that terrible orange color again.
  4. I'm really hoping they did an actual mold of Fawks (maybe they could whip out the old one they used back in the early 2000's for Dumbledoor's office). I was not a big fan oof the brick built version that came in the Great Hall set. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the brick built figures because they can break down easily or parts pop off.
  5. I agree, but I think that Joker is one of the most classic characters, and that's most likely why they're putting him in there. I would get him for the parts, but I am not terribly thrilled with TLG's choice here. On the other hand, that new Flash looks really interesting.
  6. True, unfortunately, though bricklinking the figure usually means paying the same price as the book and the figure in my experience though... or waiting like 10 months.
  7. True, though I am stoked that DC figures are happening. In a way, they're like the continuation of the cool villains and heroes we got in TLBM
  8. Yeah, but they've done it before, like in the case of John Stewart. I tend to think it would be a variant of Harry though. That hair could work with him.
  9. If they ever did another CMF line of DC characters I could see how they might put him in. That cowl for the new Batman would work well.
  10. Thank you! My guess is it's another version of Harry wearing some sort of exclusive uniform bla-bla-bla. That seems to be the case in most of these books in the HP franchise. But I'm really hoping for someone we don't have yet, or a recreation of a character from the old HP line like Fenrir Greyback.
  11. No worries! I'm new to this too! I was just curious because I've seen several rumors in the past and I was trying to figure out if this one was legitimate or not. Agreed. Though at the risk of going off topic, I wouldn't mind if one of the unreleased CMF figures turned out to be Nite Owl from the Watchmen. If wishes were fishes...
  12. Speaking of which, did anyone see that Hothbricks says a new Harry Potter book with an exclusive figure is coming out?
  13. No I didn't. I'll have to do that. Funny enough that was my experience with Deathly Hollows Pt. 1. The first time I saw it I thought it was a load of megabl*cks, but I then rewatched it and I think it's a lot better than I thought the first time.
  14. True, and that's what I think they're gonna do (about the FB movies). But even then, the next FB film isn't even slated until 2021, and there are only so many minor characters in the HP universe. I personally don't care as much about FB to be honest considering the real nostalgia for me are the HP books/movies, and the last FB movie was a major letdown.
  15. Right, that's exactly my point. I don't think there is enough material for two waves a year at this point as much as it pains me to say it.
  16. Sure, I agree about Lucius and all of those other characters you mentioned. At the same time, I feel like what you mentioned is at the most three waves. Hardly enough to be able to keep doing this on a consistent basis, especially if there is a CMF series, which is 16-20 figures. Harry Potter isn't like Star Wars or Marvel in the sense that there is much less source material to pull from and new characters aren't constantly being created (unless you count FB, but even then, that's not the same.)
  17. At the risk of starting a war in the comments here, I feel like if Lego did two runs of HP sets, they'd be scratching their heads after a while trying to figure out what to make. After all, as is they've already covered a good amount of the HP theme, and though I want more sets, I would much rather have the theme be "evergreen" than die out like the last two times they tried to make HP sets. I'm personally really curious to see what figures they make for the new wave, because other than new versions of existing characters, maybe Bellatrix Lestrange, Lockheart, some random death eaters, a few more members of the Weasley family, and probably a character or two from Fantastic Beasts I'm not sure who else they could make. I'll be really happy if someone corrects me for being wrong here. And on a separate note, I'm really hoping they make some sets of the tasks from the Philosopher's Stone. They'd probably be brilliant.
  18. That's depressing.
  19. Given the last two sets of CMF, hopefully not.
  20. Is there any news about what the chase figure might be for CMF?
  21. Also the soft rubber one gets sticky when exposed to sun for too long. That's what happened to several of my figures, and it was gross.
  22. Eeesh I'm not a fan of that plastic.
