  1. I think they're pretty good. I know the story is different in that it doesn't use the Ark, and I guess meteors is a good way of getting to Earth. As for the figs, although they look a bit funny you can still see some resemblances from non-movie Optimus and Starscream designs (legs on Starscream, windows on Prime). Overall, I'm pretty optimistic.
  2. I probably won't be getting many of these. Probably just Cyclone Defender.
  3. Mystery Halo 2 SE DVD song, that nobody knows what it is. It's cool though.
  4. At LEGO brand stores here in Jolly England, you can get 5 skeletons for
  5. Excellent! Thanks for the heads up Matt!
  6. Hope you both have a great day with everything you wanted! X-D
  7. This is one hell of a deal. Shame, I really can't afford to blow my cash on this set.
  8. Am I the only one noticing a slight lag between user input and the onscreen action in those WiiSports videos?
  9. I've been pretty busy lately, what with school, homework and tests.
  10. That's, like, convoy hybrid Convoy isn't it? I dunno. What I'm worried about is getting the one with the yellow marking on the head, which I don't want. But I can see the one you pointed out, Mutley, is the same as the current version I want.
  11. I've got a funny story about Pokemon games. When I was very young, I was addicted to the game on my old Gameboy Colour. I used to be able to do everything. I had the skills, apparently. Flash forward to this summer, when I slotted the game (gold version) into my Gameboy colour again for a quick play. I was bamboozeld. Confuddled. I didn't know where to begin. I'm getting too old for these kinds of games. ;-)
  12. So what you mean to say is, if I see a chance like this I should take it... Maybe for Christmas.
  13. UltraPrime, I'm wondering. Do you have Masterpiece/20th Anniversary Optimus Prime? If so, how much did you pay for it (in GBP please) and do you know of any differences between the Masterpiece and 20th Anniversary editions? (excluding the smoke stacks) Thanks.
  14. Hope you had a great day, and got some fantastic presents! :-D
  15. In answer to your question about independant contests, Xeno, it's alot of fun. You're helping to build up the community spirit, and you get to become more respected if you do it right. At least, I think that's it.
  16. I saw Spirited Away, a masterpiece of Japanese film by Miyazaki. What a movie!
  17. I wanted to get this, but now I'da rather spend
  18. I watched Taladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby at the weekend with a couple of friends. Very funny movie, but they spent too much time giving it moral values and not enough in making it funny towards the end. Yesterday when I was ill I watched one of my favourite films, Titan A.E. which features fantastic animation melded with CG effects and a storyline partly authored by Joss Whedon to create a brilliant (and highly under-rated) movie.
  19. Sadly, morons appeal to kids. :-| ;-)
  20. Happy Birthday! Hope you get some LEGO!
  21. Having seen a games montage, I have to say that alot of the games look like a waste of time, money, and skills. There's stuff that would belong on a DS, some graphics that belong on the DS... But, having said that, Wii Sports looks pretty cool as des Zelda, Battalion Wars and Red Steel. The new Mario platformer looks, um, special...
  22. Sorry I'm late. :-$ Hope you had a fantastic day, Sam!
  23. We have our leader, and thus the leader of the competition. Congratulations to Languages with his fantastic entry, The Mysterious Crab! Of course, the rest of the finalists were equally as good for many different reasons, from story to design to real superheroic feel. So, congratulations to all of you! But how can we forget all of those who took the time to enter, those who made banners to advertise and for those who spread the word elsewhere. Because without you guys, this wouldn't have been such a success. Thanks to all the support we've had from Eurobricks, and if Blind Bricks and Languages could please contact me or Joe, we'll try and send off the prizes as soon as possible. It's been great guys!
  24. Welcome to Eurobricks! I'm from the UK too.
