Yeah I stopped trying using the search unless being desperate : I only parse through stores that used to have what I wanted... Not only is the search engine not efficent enough (maybe due to automatic translations) but more and more titles and descritions are completely useless. Furthermore if I were you I'd wait a little before ordering, if it is not available elsewhere it surely is a long shot pre sale and you don't even know if they'll have it ...

Another factor is that a "single" vendor often handles severall stores, and maybe from time to time there is a need for a cleanup/catalog inventory and one store is empty so that they can update correctly the catalog. It can also be to balance the sales from one account to another : store visibility is important, so a store with 9000 sales can be "trusted" while one with 2 is doubtfull, hence I believe some stores/accounts are emptied and then reopens with a totally different kind of products but benefits from the sales count. (Megao was probably selling electronics a while ago, and I wonder if Onego wasn't selling clothes before). About old releases apprearing new : there again it is just a catalog matter, it is listed new by the platform because they are re-listed from the seller. maybe simply because of internal factors (if you're talking of some stores that were closed for some times it might be the direct consequence of reuploading a whole catalog) or willingly for visibility purpose (if they want to boost/clear some items they have to make them visible)

I'm excited, not for this set but for what could be next : If Xinh is only relasing this 8 parts set, and since Pogo has done 12 and nothing in this one is "original", they will have difficulties selling this. But this can also mean there should be ANOTHER set with the 4 remaining known designs, and maybe up to 4 MORE "original" designs !!! I just don't known what source they get "inspiration" from : a GRRMartin from the same citizenBricks source, a thrall from brickwarriors, i'm still missing 2... And the others news keep going : there is "Gladiatius" from collectibles (maybe xinh?), there is a DrWho 8parts (maybe dlp?) ...

This week end I checked a PotC Black Pearl and is it quite good for the price : For the MF : some arms are badly molded as if the character had a huge cramp Some background torso color is not right (eg grey for Will's neck) Davy Jones is blue and not dark blue. For the set some minor complaints : - the cannon's springs are wrongly set : they are fully pulled hence you can't fire - No extra part at all, not even a hand - The strings with studs are sustibuted with regular strings and chain extremities so you have to do you own knots - instructions have cgi issues (parts appearing at front while other parts should be covering them) - trans orange parts are replaced with trans red wich I like better. - you have a sprue of modern weapons just to have the knife so my pirates now have grenades yeehaa

Maybe their board metting are "come with your child at work", they seem to simply think as a Toy manufacturer and not as a Commercial : their products are fun, not pretty (even uggly when comparing to other brands) and clearly children oriented. Most of us posting here are implying the interesting elements are those we'd like to display, JLB seems to focus on what to play with. There is no fun in another IronMan Mk<not released previously>, or a Chrome element, there is fun with smurfs or minions. It is just not what we are used to with bricks discussions : noone talks here about compatible fire trucks or police cars but plenty of the missalignment or the exact color of what the belt should have been ... It's controversial : I don't buy JLB but I'm happy they exists.

SDCC Phoenix is the only "item" I bought other than regular sets, it was a real crush at the time, and I had no knowledge of bootlegers. Now I probably won't do it again (but that money for promotional items does not go to TLG at all). That knowledge had also no impact on my Lego purchases yet, I still buy what I like, probably because of the strong band image. But about the second hand market and old official sets ... I am still considering it : half the price of the original that I couldn't buy at the time vs 4 times on BL now (like pirates ships) ... tempting. And if you kill the second hand market, you'll kill slowly the current sales, let's face it lots of people are just investing in Legos, if no one is buying second hand, then no one will buy in order to sell later.

C-3PO with a dark red arm was available from polybag wich was probably given for may the 4th 2015. Veeeery few things were innovation within SW theme, Darth Nihilus is the only I can remember. It is very difficult to find something that can be attractive AND that had not been done before : I'd so like to see a Rebels's Jedi Temple Guard but this is no big market target. Same for me.

Kopf is hard to describe... Let's say it is not a manufacturer of its own, nor a "real" brand. I think at first it was "real" factory sub-components : mainly from DLP and sold as single sales (without additionnal bricks or accessories nor packaging), maybe it is still the case for single sales But now it also seems to be just a fake rebranding for almost anything : some big sellers are putting Kopf logo on Enlightment or Jiego items for instance, and I don't think it is because Kopf copied their design nor that they all belong to the same holding, no it's simply just changing the label.

It is more complicated than that : "New Arrival" , for me, often displays some "really" new elements that does not appear at all in "Products" (This means usually the seller hadn't fully published it since he has no stock but you can still pass an order if you are willing to wait)

I have an issue with AE website : from the "New Arrival" tab (uri like <locale or www>.aliexpress.com/store/new-arrivals/<storeid>.html?tracelog=newarrivals_tab ), only the first 45 first elements are displayed, so when it says "We found 57 new arrivals for you!" that means I cannot see 12 that are likely pre-release, any suggestion on how to unlock them ?

Like Robianco said, it is similar to OLS custom, hence very similar to Pogo release. Although it refers to the same version of the Atom character (The Raymond Palmer from the Arrow TV show), the design does not look like TLG sdcc design at all (which has wider red parts, helmet as headgear, black arms and not medium blue and so on). We can expect a better quality print than Pogo, If you add the fact that the baseplate is cool and some minor color details are also better (belt button), this one is so far better. But personnally I might pass since it is too similar to what have been previously released.

They REALLY don't know : how can they made a chucky that has the same size as others figures ?? Small legs is mandatory ! What is it with the Ash (Boomstick) colors ? - If it is from ArmyOfDarkness 1992 Movie, some artwork has the shirt blue but in the movie it is regular brown leather. - If it is from AshVsEvilDead 2015 TV blue is ok but then why a teared shirt ?

Hard to define "Fake" when you are talking about clones, aren't them all fakes ;) ? Yes they are big and I thank them for that, now you can have affordable armies. But it is not pogo but sellers on AE that are using the BrickLink codes/numbers, and they do it because it talks to the customers, or at least it is a clear catalogue. Pogo has their own numbering, their regular starwnrs numbering is currenlty from 623 to 645 (plus all the previously released items that has no "real" reference number hence the use of external numbering to clarify)

There are some golden castle figs in T T Toys/Word Minifigures, but their numbering leave an emty spot for 6 MF, I want to believe it is the other 6 GoT characters cloned from CitizenBricks.

I didn't know the site, but when looking at it it has everything to be suspicious about : logo and about giving an alternate website that does not exists, phone number 00 00 00 and so on, if I were you I wouldn't use it and flee.
