If we do get six, Elmo ( lives in 123 Sesame Street) Bert and Ernie ( live in 123 SS) Big Bird and Grover ( both live outside SS) Cookie Monster ( included cause of popularity)
-
He says that he’s heard this info from a source I’m taking this rumor with a grain of salt but I will keep my expectations low for the set. Six figs with possible new molds for each sounds plausible for a $120 Ideas set.
-
Even if the leak is fake Ernie is still confirmed since his buddy Bert is in the set. Both Grover and Count went back to 50/50 chance of appearing in the set. 2020 just keeps on getting better

I wonder how they will do Oscar will the use the standard trash can mold or use the large barrel one to fit him in? If he has a molded head, how will his trash lid fit on top? Will he even have a molded head? Or will he use a standard minifig head?
-
Those have been retired since the Toy Story 3 wave and haven’t returned even in the TS4 wave. I think big big bird will use regular minifig legs and have a new mold of his head and long neck.

You are in luck

Count leak on insta

120 for a set with 4 ( so far ) new molds I really hope the build isn’t compromised cause of the new molds
-
I feel like Big Bird, Grover and Oscar are the most likeliest characters (not leaked) that will appear in the set. I count count is a 50/50 I do wonder if they will include a female muppet

I’m on team real for Ernie
-
I think big bird will get a new head piece with long neck and regular minifig legs.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

Those figs are for the LEGO ideas set that is releasing soon. -
If the lack of print on Elmo was cause of budget limitations then I’m glad since he doesn’t really need it. Characters like Ernie, Bert, and Count are ones that really need torso printing. The molds while simple are better than the print on standard minifigure heads like the project had.

No new mold rule is officially broken

I don’t think so but most of the time LEGO releases two D2C sets a month.

LEGO Ideas Discussion

I’m sure that they will reject a couple as soon as the review period starts. The modulars will automatically be eliminated cause duh. Temple will be rejected cause of its possible similarities to Ninjago city Gardens. The pirate based projects will be rejected cause Barracuda Bayis still sold in stores. Tv shows/ Video game projects also have a good chance of being rejected quickly. No shade but Fall guys project will be rejected quickly as it reaches 10,000 -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

The next rumored IDEAS set is Sesame Street which includes characters that benefit from new molded heads. If LEGO Sesame Street set includes figures with molded heads then that means that no new mold rule is no longer an issue. If that’s the case then we don’t need a Disney Series 3 for Winnie the Pooh molds. -
Call your local LEGO store and ask how many they have available to purchase for tomorrow. If the amount is too low then it’s best to order online or if they have lots then buy in store.

From a leaker who saw the price in the LEGO store system

Rumored price point is $119.99

Star Wars had four GWP sets last year: Mini Droid commander, classic obi wan, Battle of Hoth and Battle of Endor I was under the impression that HP-4 was a 2021 set. Is it not?
-
I figured The year isn’t over and it’s still possible for us to get a proper HP GWP.
-
I know it’s unlikely but is it possible for us to get a small winter 2021 wave? Maybe the second small wave for 2020 was pushed back cause of covid?
-
I just hope that I’m able to purchase Diagon Alley on September 1st.
