I have been interested in telerobotic games like https://www.isotopium.com/ and so on and built different LEGO camera robots to test latency and stuff like these. First I used network cameras on robots but then Google made an app called Cellbots https://www.youtube.com/@cellbots https://web.archive.org/web/20200630032332/http://www.cellbots.com/ that was open source and I was invited to USA / Chicago in IPSO Challenge with one robot prototype. Then a guy called Alexey did an amazing app better than Cellbots he called RoboCam It was not open source but it had mailboxes to send data to code and control it https://web.archive.org/web/20260308044511/http://proghouse.ru/tags/robocam Now with AI I managed to clone the android app RoboCam and I even was able to add a Huawei 360 camera option in its setup and some other amazing stuff. So I am now seriously trying to set up a first omni telerobot lego android phone huawei 360 camera robot game with on a Floor Pick-Up (FPU) system I have ordered electronics and stuff from aliexpress and are preparing the Floor Pick-Up (FPU) system floor with electric copper tejp stripes. Why. I just think it is fun and interesting if I can make it work. The best part is that I can develop the android app clone robocam just as i want it and adapt it to a online webpage queue system like at the isotopium.com that worked very well. I managed to add a huawei 360 camera option to my robocam version. I need this to get less mechanic delay as i pan and tilt camera view as I look for a direction and then I can drive direct in that direction I have the selecter pixel view direction. The android app called "RoboCam" , make the phone to a wifi network camera. So you build a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robot. Then you put your phone on the robot. The app RoboCam communicate to the EV3 with Bluetooth. RoboCam also connect to your local wifi and create a web link that any devise in your local wifi, with a browser, can log in to. So with a computer or phone, with browser, in your local wifi , you get a video stream webpage and also controls in the webpage. If you want to control your robot from another city or country you need to open a port or dmz in your router. The same can be done with raspberry pi or arduino and other circuits. Do you want to use raspberry pi , arduino or a android phone ? I use Android phone and a app called robocam https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.proghouse.robocam to show kids tey can do it with a phone and a LEGO robot. The robocam app give you a IP adress so anyone in your local router wifi network can open a browser and get video stream and control to the IP link. If you want to control from outside your local wifi you need to open port in router called port forward or open DMZ in your router. Read about robocam and see youtube videos to learn. Questions? Hi. I finally managed to build my EV3 omni/holonimic telerobot with anti collision-system. If you drive to close to anything it stop and reverse a bit, if needed. Sensitivity and reverse is adjustable. I will equippe them with laser tag weapons and laser aim system and so on. It can be remote controlled over the internet with live camera stream, so it is a internet camera robot, (that moves like a computer avatar in FPS computer game). It can be controlled over the internet from a mobile phone, ipad or computer, from a browser. I plan to build a internet game so that you can log in to robots and have a game with them like in https://www.isotopium.com/ . I did this on ADSL already 2005 and had people playing with my robots from all over the world. The mobile connects with Bluetooth to EV3 and then with wifi to the internet. It can then be remotely controlled from other countries from a mobile or computer in a browser.
