I only recently got into Lego with the HP sets and having kids old enough for it. So I have so far loved all the latest Hogwarts related sets for the HP line. I'm really tempted to incorporate this new set with my Hogwarts sets now. :D So maybe I'll just buy the Arendelle set and see what next year's sets are. Hopefully next year they're doing more than just churning out a last wave of all the princesses before ending this renewed line for another 5 or so years.

Although with the removable mid floor and roof it could be interesting adding to the other build and swap Princess pieces. We'll see. I prefer Elsa and Anna in this set. I'm not crazy about Anna in all the black.

I'm personally a little underwhelmed. If I want a new Olaf, I'll probably get the canoe set. His body looks much better, but they could've updated his head and given a new expression. The arendelle set, while nice, the outside doesn't wow me like the celebration set for Arendelle. It does have some interesting pieces on the interior. The outside reminded me too much of the Hogwarts castle with just a touch of color. I do like how the roof and middle floor pop off though. Not sure if I'll get it or not or try to just get extra pieces. the tree house looks nice, but i'll probably wait to see what the princess sets are for next year before purchasing anything from this wave. (the brickfan link stopped working. not sure if they got a slap on the list or what.)

I messaged Toys R Us Canada to see if Bricktober is going to happen. They said Yes! No details or anything though. I don't see how they could exclude a Harry Potter set. Last time they were all professors. Would they have characters in special yule ball costumes this time? If they do professors, I really hope they include lockhart!

Nothing with new characters have been released. Fisher Price hasn't done Frozen specific sets, only generic Disney Princess castle. It does kinda look like the First frozen sled, but they made it double the seating like the new carriage we see in the trailer. hmm.

We had Tiana this year too, but I don't see why we couldn't have her again. Her bit was tiny. Rapunzel hits 10 years, Pocahontas hits 25 (they have to do something for her!), Cinderella hits 70 yrs. Merida only hits 8 yrs and Snow White hits 83. Maybe Rapunzel and Pocahontas will get a Celebration set of their own? The Cindy Celebration is half the size of the trio Celebration set from this year. Whatever is done, just hoping they give us Aurora in Blue. Not thrilled about the carriage for her, but her in blue would be awesome. Oh and a worthy Pocahontas set. Going back to Frozen. Little People has two new frozen sets coming out. The typical ice castle with Elsa and Olaf and this double sled which we see a glimpse of in the trailer. I'm still holding out that one of the frozen sets is a double sled! :D So cute. Excuse my excitedness.

Where'd you find this? That carriage is 30 pieces less than the Cinderella carriage # 41159. Not very big at all. I don't know how these storybook adventures will go. Maybe they have some sort of correlation with the Lego Disney princess chapter books that have been coming out. Looking at their piece amounts makes me not very excited. At least there will be a new Mulan. I'm not too crazy about the other Mulan set and didn't buy it, so hopefully this will be more interesting. This is a little disappointing for me. Cinderella's celebrating the 70th anniversary next year, but I think we've gotten a lot of stuff for her in the past. The Moana one is equal in size to the Jasmine and Rapunzel towers from this year. After looking a bit, I found a game on Disneychannel.ca called Storybook Adventures. A search and find giving you points to build their castles. I did one to check it out (Snow White's ). I wonder if there's a connection with this and the new lego being some mini castle/building build.

I'm so hoping for a build and swap Beauty and the Beast castle. I kind of also wish there'd be a huge D2C version too, but I doubt that. If they do more with Aurora, I really hope they'll include Prince Philip. The fairies would be a nice touch too. Aurora in her briar rose form would be awesome and the cottage kind of like the set with Cinderella # 41146. Maybe a double outfit from forest girl to the blue dress instead of the pink. That would pretty much complete my Sleeping Beauty love unless they did a d2c castle. I hope they do a nice bigger set for Mulan. I would love a bridge and garden set. I'm expecting some set for her movie. If there were a trio set again - pocahontas with grandmother willow, rapunzel and eugene with a canoe and lanterns, and maybe some kind of city setup? (drawn sun on the floor would be cool), and with Cinderella we haven't gotten her in her rags with maybe another fairy godmother?. There's been a lot of other Cinderella sets even with part of the pink dress.

That poor little junior set was too basic for her. Cinderella and Ariel get so much attention. Aurora too. Maybe Maleficent 2 will bring another Aurora set. As mentioned before, I'd love to see them do her cottage. I have fisher price's Snow White little people cottage with all the dwarfs. It's super cute. Would love it in lego form. I'm not hopeful for it. They did a smaller house for Cinderella Really hoping for a build and swap of Belle's castle. I think it's more likely they'll do that. Haha. I think I'd somehow come across it as a random movie on regular tv as a teen in the 90's. It's got Sam Neill in it too as the father. It's definitely darker. It will be interesting to see what they do with a live action for her. Snow White doesn't get as much attention as the other princesses. The same goes for Mulan. Her set was tiny. My local TRU up here still has a big stock in Mulan's mini set. They haven't priced it down to even make it worth buying to get the minifigure. I've been undecided on getting it. They ripped us off with a tiny inclusion of Tiana in that celebration set. It at least looks cute. I'm disappointed with all the flag pedestals... Guess I'll add them to the quidditch set for fun. Love Ron and Harry in their sweaters. It would've been nice to get McGonnagal with a hairpiece at least. Here's hoping that they'll do another calendar next year as well to get more tables and who knows what else. I might modify the tables together to put the chessboard on it. Wish we could somehow have an advent calendar devoted to Halloween to dress the hall up that way. That's just wishful thinking on my part.

If you want an interesting live action of it, look up Snow White: A Tale of Terror with Sigourney Weaver as the Queen. Loved the different touches to the story that they added. I wouldn't want a straight up remake of the original. I think they've done best with the Cinderella remake and changing it up just enough while sticking to the core story.

Mulan live action will be coming out too. There should be at least one set for that since they did one for Aladdin. Really hope they'll do Pocahontas. I'll be surprised if there's not a sled/wagon set. This wagon is the one shown in the trailer. Thinking for late next year and for 2021... I wonder if they will do something special for Beauty and the Beast. It will be its 30 year anniversary in 2021. I would love to see a huge d2c castle for it. Even another swap and build type castle would be nice to get. Next year will be Rapunzel's 10 year anniversary too. I know Frozen is huge, but I'm still surprised with how many sets will be devoted to just Frozen this year.

I was wondering the same thing when I saw the official trailer. I love the Patronus, but don't feel the desire to buy that set for just the patronus. If it were in a frozen set as a horse, I'd probably buy that one instead. So we have a big ice castle coming up. I wonder if the other big Frozen set will be a new Arendelle. There's hints that Hans will be back in the movie. If so, I wonder if he'll be included in the sets.
