the buildings are great but i cant help but feel quite underwhelmed by the minifigures, they just appear quite dull and uninteresting, and lockhart just doesn't look great either in my opinion.

Does anyone know if any of the CMF have appeared in any UK stores yet?

next years CMF have been rumoured to be series 20, Harry potter (which is highly likely) and a 3rd Disney CMF. I would question the latter but the only other licensed theme i can see having a CMF series next year is the new Trolls/Minions

any idea on what is coming in this D2C? really hope it not just the train, hoping for the entrance to magical Kindgom!

i remember seeing hundreds and hundreds of those HP polybags in legoland not so long ago! what are we hoping the polybag will be this year if there is one?

Just built the hungarian Horntail set and as nice as the wings are the main body and legs are horrible to look at looks far too square :/

i think we will get an easy 5 waves possibly 6, 4 waves based of the 8 films, which is a given. Then another wave or 2 filling in the gaps that were left open in previous waves.

But then again i guess you could argue that we get a hell of alot of star wars, so it could be likely we get somethign unexpected, i think the ship and 2nd task could work really well but i think it is very unlikely

Certain as an opinion, i personally dont think theyd head in this direction. Yes PotC sets have big expensive ships but the films revolves around ships. Bare in mind the Ship itself is in the film for a few seconds

We will all get the sets at some point! Sure its a bummer for some but its better than not getting them at all!

There is 0 reason to get rid of Depp as it all turned out to be fake. If they lose him then the FB series sadly dies as he was one of if not the only good thing about CoG.

Would love to see a ministry of magic. Prehaps in the DH wave we may get one, would also be cool to have the minifigures that Harry, Ron and Hermione transform into with the double sided heads much like the old Slytherin common room set from 2002 with poly juice Harry and Ron.

Exactly my point. HP is a really good line but it would never last against Star wars because of the variety. HP does pretty much all take place in the same place for 7 of the 8 films. And you'd be right, that they'd be making sets for the sake of filling in gaps which dont really need to filled. At the moment FB is nowhere near harry potter level of popularity, if anything the films are a let down and a mess and its why it's been postponed for an extra year. I cant see there being many sets for it either considering we've only had 2 sets from 2 films which were also i believe the worst sellers out of the bunch. Also, i could deffo see the revival of Indy since the 5th film is supposed to appear next year.

As much as i love Harry Potter i find this hard to be a long lasting theme. After a couple more waves there wouldn't be much they could do that wouldn't be repeating previous years.

Yeah thats exactly what my thoughts were. I dont know if any of you are in the UK but Tesco have Quidditch and newt suitcase set for £22.50 and game have the aragog set for £5.99 if thats any help to anyone.

If we are going for CoG for the august sets, it could be possible we may get a small play-set for one of the Hogwarts scenes which could include a young Dumbledore, maybe the scene with Dumbledore and a young Newt in the DATDA classroom?
