  1. Unvote: Whitby walrus Vote: Huxley Horse Fair enough.
  2. Well done. You voted. Though I do not understand why you would need to merge it to the end rather than just write it at the start of your post. Now you just need, like, you know, a reason? Other than OMFGUS. I do not know what purpose the signalling served! That is why I chased it. As I said, I could think of no good reason for a villager to do it. There must be one. It bugs me deeply that I do not know what it was, nor that anyone else seems to care. Sigh, would you like me to go through everything I just laid out for the goat? It is my list for my reasons, with my thinking behind it. The choice of names, if you had actually read my post is not random. If you do not like my list or my reasons, make your own list. Play the ball, not the man. And yes. I assert, as a theory, that the first voters are much less likely to be scum. Disagree with that? Say why you disagree. Just saying you do not like it does not add anything to the finding of the scum. At this point in the game, four or six scum are both reasonable hypotheses. Out of ten animals, yes it's not a narrow field.
  3. Have you not been paying attention? According to various theories that have been floated, the scum teams might have started with two or three members each and may have recruited villagers. At a minimum there were likely four scum at the start. We have seen no scum lynched or night killed. At a totally paranoid count, with three scum at start, a vig and SK in play and three successful conversions, all of you all could all be scum. There are nine animals that could be scum, six scum is entirely possible. I was not providing a list and saying there is a scum on it. I was listing those a animals I think, in the balance of probability are scum. The whole list. As you point out, it is a virtual certainty there is at least one. Hopefully my list has done better than that! As for my name not being on my list of scum, are you really not paying attention. It is my list. I know I am a villiager. Of course I am not going to put my name on my scum list. If you want a scum list with my name on it, make your own damn list. Pay attention, properly hunt scum. And yes, I was picking from my list almost at random. If (as I think) there is very good chance all of those on my list are scum, I do not mind much which one of them we lynch tonight. You might mind, you may prefer someone from the other team, I get that. Just say so.
  4. Uh-huh. 'Cause I talked about myself so much, and insisted on my own non-scuminess. Or are you annoyed I did the analysis that you did not do, moving from the info which is definitely true, since you just cut and pasted it from Schafer's own posts with some added colour coding. If you disagree with my interpretation, go ahead, say so. Post your own analysis. Look into the first voters. Actually, let me, since I doubt you would. day one, at the end there were five standing first voters. two of those are town. the other three are Hadyn, Leevi and Ember. Hadyn raised his case long before voting opened and drew heat for it. He was the first person to vote when voting opened despite eight (eight!) other animals speaking before him and not voting, including Caldwell yelling Ham Sandwich! Several people have pointed fingers at Hadyn, in fact pretty much everyone on the list of non-first voters has suggested his scumminess. Hmmm. Think about that for a bit. Ember voted for Caldwell (1of1), changed to Braxton (6 of 8) , then changed to Gracie (1of1). The purpose of not voting first is to avoid detailed scrutiny. Ember as 6 on Braxton could be doing that, but his unvote? That drew heat. He was not the hammer, he was in the sweet zone. If Braxton had been lynched and flipped town, Ember would not have been in the spotlight. If he was scum it is (in my opinion) unlikely he would have unvoted. I now rate Ember as likely town given day one. Leevi calls out Myrtle (whom we now know to be town). To be fair, I had earlier pointed her out for a confusion. Leevi points to Myrtle's vote on Braxton as being something a scum would do (voting second to avoid scrutiny!). If Leevi were scum, we would have an example of a scum who thinks it is scummy to vote second on someone so here is voting first on someone in order to appear not scummy. A scum who was that meta would probably bus a fellow scum in the first round to gain cover later, if either of them were under spotlight. I am still trying to get a read on Leevi, but he is actively hunting scum. Day two first voters. Once again, by the end of the day we have five remaining first voters. Two surviving. To examine Hadyn, The vote was super late in the day and totally unlikely to end in a lynch. Essentially it was a throwaway vote. And it was a move vote from someone else who was not the majority candidate. Super scummy. Lynchworthy. To examine Brewer, her vote on Caldwell was with 12 hours on the clock (so much less scummy than only 3!), totally likely to end in a lynch. Not a throwaway vote at all. And it was a move from Ember who had no other votes on him (at the time), which is totally townie move since her vote was being wasted. Super not scummy. Not Lynchworthy. Care to look into Day three or shall I after I rest my voice for a bit?
  5. I think you have your clauses mixed up there. I totally did not understand what the parrot meant by saying some people are more anti-monster. I could not think of a town reason to say that, though clearly in hindsight there must be one. And preferring to posit his scumminess rather than my failure of imagination, I strongly called him out. His response of do not worry about it served only to make me more worried. I am not privy to any forms of external communication, and all I could see in Pierots reply was the suggestion that he was involved in some external communication. It was not me spinning it to sound scummy, it already sounded scummy. Turns out it was not, but that's how it sounded. The fact that there are animals here that assume external communication, thinking "we do it, everyone else is too" is going to be a useful indicator going forward. You really do not understand why this should be questioned? I do not know what size the scum teams are. I do know that there are animals out there that do know. Occasionally those animals may forget that we do not know and say things that reveal they have more knowledge than us. This is scum hunting 101. Occasionally those animals will try to guess what everyone is thinking so they can think the same way too and keep cover as one of us. But that covering occasionally slips as well. For me, it is perfectly reasonable for the bunny to raise this with him. It is your confusion which is either a failure of imagination (which I totally understand, see above) or is an indication that you've assumed something about how villagers think and what we know. Frustratingly, with two scum teams a handful of useful rules about scum voting might not apply. So still do. One guide that may still apply is Scum tend not to place the first vote in someone As always there will be exceptions to this rule, but because the first vote on someone will be scrutinised, they avoid such examination by following rather than leading votes. for day one, this gives us eight alive animals that did not vote first. for day two, this gives us a list of six alive animals, plus two non voters Six names occur on both lists. Gracie, Ronan, Caldwell, Whitby, Bennett and Huxley. If I were a betting animal, and I bet you I am, I would say we will find scum among that list. Eeny meeny miney mo. Given my examination of his phrasing above, I will act accordingly and Vote: Whitby Walrus Plus twice now, he has said "let's look at Hayden, anyone think he's scummy?" Dude, if you think so, vote for me. Lay out a good case. but you do not want to be the first vote on me, so you fluff and suspicionise me without actually putting your teeth into it. Damn. Cannot even spell my own name right. Sheesh. Talking too fast.
  6. I was a key vote on Myrtle? Check your facts puppy. I did not vote for her on either day. Unlike you. And I pushed the day one vote? How do you figure that? I voted first. I laid out a case. That is all. I never, not once told others to vote for Braxton. I never told anyone that their votes elsewhere were wrong. Myrtle reported she could not give you something yesterday. She was town, hence, not lying about that. Care to propose a theory? And what what are you suggesting about Pascha and Pierot? That Pascha was a vigilante and killed Pierot over his strange communication claims? Or that Pierot was a vigilante and killed Pascha for questioning him about it? Or are you just fishing for a doctor claim to explain why we only saw two kills if there are three killers? As for ridding the village of me to further your plans, I'll gently remind you you've accused me of tunnelvisioning, but happily admit to voting me day one, planning to vote me day two and now wanting to vote me day three.
  7. Well damn. I am more confused than ever. As was pointed out at the end of last day, my theory about why Braxton was killed could not have worked. Do not say stuff just after waking up. Mafia sleepy theories are not always useful. ugh. Too early in the morning for this. I will be back in 5 or so when some of you other animals have spoken.
  8. Dammit. I'm so dumb. I ignored the important questions. Why was Braxton killed rather than being the focus of today's continued talk? Why did Ember unvote Braxton? My theory: Braxton is panicking about heading toward lynch. It's especially bad because He's a power role. What can he do? Claim in thread? Too risky he thinks. Who's been speaking up for me? Who hasn't voted for me? That animal shares with his buddies, prompting an unvote just in case others know Braxton is empowered. Later that night. Bam. Killed by scum to neutralise a threat. Braxton trusted the wrong animal. I'm guessing it's way too late in the day, but unvote: Pierot Parrot vote: Ember Elephant If I die tonight, you'll know who to lynch.
  9. Bird. I'm trying to follow your thinking here, I really am. No sign of scum wagoning? How do you know? The only way to know that would be to know who the scum were. But you're town, you told us so, you don't know who the scum are. With seven votes on her, the odds that there are no scum voting for her would have to minuscule. And that's entirely forgetting there are two scum teams, who (I would hope) have not identified each other yet and so can quite happily vote for each other. Unless the teams have figured some way to signal to each other in the day thread to connect up? Surely there's been no evidence of that? It feels like you've made up a list of threats you want to eliminate and are using the votes on Braxton and Myrtle to propagate your plan. Here's the rub though. Braxton was murdered at night, not lynched. This generates two cases. either our hypothetical third party decided to just go with the towns almost lynch, not caring if Braxton was one of our villagers or a scum of either flavour or one of the scum teams decided to go with the town's almost lynch, knowing he was either town or other scum team (or hypothetical third party), but aiming to use however he flipped as a way to attack those villagers who voted for him. Surely that's not what's happening here? To suggest that votes on Braxton were a scummy putsch but votes on Myrtle are suddenly organised town runs counter to evidence. Braxton wasn't lynched, nobody really in the end cared enough to hammer. Myrtle is already convicted. If your warbling has any merit it is only this, all of what I've said does not in any way clear, exonerate or defend Myrtle. She has done odd things. Things which will see her lynched. I simply disagree about priorities. I think there are bigger scummier animals out there.
  10. I'm glad I seem alright to you. oh, you mean to lynch. Because I called out your shifty hiding messaging or because I voted for you over it?
  11. vote: Pierot Parrot Trust me I'm a villager is pretty much the scumiest thing someone can say. Villiagers don't need to ask for trust, they earn it by doing town things, like telling the truth, not hiding things and being active in hunting scum.
  12. I bet it's not nothing. I think it might be some kind of scum signalling tactic. Pierot, who was quite talkative yesterday, has gone a long time without clarifying. He would have at least been notified that I parroted his words. Maybe there's nothing unscummy he can say. There were comments on day one about the scum being distinct teams. I asked why would it ever matter. No one answered that question either.
  13. Why is it worse for me? I don't recall ever telling anyone else to vote for him. I just said I was unsatisfied with his replies. I voted clearly and early, and let others make up their own minds. Turns out I was wrong, sure. But that's because I didn't know what Braxton was. And I wanted to find out, since he wouldn't give a better response than poorly phrased threats. As for the topic of conversation between Braxton and I, what else can anyone point to here except poor phrasing? Until verifiable investigation results start coming in, I have nothing to go on except conversations here. If you're deep in private conversations all night, I'm sure you'll let us know.
  14. I am sorry. I am feeling slow this morning. What do you mean by this? Interesting to look at. So are lava flows, Tigers eyes and burning buildings. Assessing danger is the important thing. The question is did Ember think, " Gosh Braxton might possibly be town, I better not vote for him." Or "Gosh he might be town and it'd look bad for me if he was killed and I was the one who hammered." Or some other variant. I guess we'll never know.
  15. Got a better candidate? Lay out a case. Bang a drum, see who listens to you. Don't be a sheep and follow someone else's vote without explaining. Braxton isn't an easy lynch. He's an entirely avoidable lynch. You yourself say so. I laid out a case. Some others disagreed with the case (good for them!) and voted Braxton for reasons of their own. Others (like you!) agreed the original comment was odd and that his response was unsatisfactory, yet voted for other candidates. By now it's not the original case I laid out that has earned him votes, but his responses. So far, Huxley has two "talk to us votes", Cleo has a "don't lynch anyone!" vote. Pierot has made a case for Myrtle. Who do you think we should lynch? And why? what does strike you as scum behaviour? What are you certain about? What comments have pinged your radar? -Apologies its Whitby and Leevi for Myrtle, not Pierot
  16. When he first said "definitely four sides" he could have just been getting carried away. Others have offered that defence of him, but he hasn't offered it himself. I figured it was worth prodding him about, especially with his need to clarify that he was town. I would just like him to explain what the Hervi he actually meant. Is it all a fuss over nothing because all he was saying was he really wanted a four person sex romp with Brewer, Pierot and Bennett?!? If so, why not just say that? Instead he slaps me and calls me thirsty, voting for me for the sole reason that I asked a reasonable question. Sure my logic could be flawed, or just badly explained, but that does not change that he has an open question to answer. My logic flows from this observation, almost every other villager here, when discussing the possible existence of a neutral party, refers to them as a third party. I.e. 1.Town 2.Scum 3.possible Neutral. No one else seems to view the scum as seperate. So. Why does Braxton seem to do something no one else is doing, talking about a four way? Is it because he is scum or for some other reason? Before you hang someone, you need to vote, Pasha.
  17. Because, Hellion or monster, they are all scum, they all need to be lynched, they will all kill town. I do not care which group a scum comes from and I highly doubt that we will find out the allegiance of a scum before we lynch them. Can you tell me why it would matter which team a scum comes from?
  18. You will need to read that again. I am saying the exact opposite! Only scum would view the two scum factions as different groups!
  19. But that is the thing. He did not say third party, he said four. It seems like he's counting the monsters and hellions as seperate entities. Meaning that to him, a neutral party would be a fourth group. Which he (likely) would not do if town and (likely) would do if one or other of the scum teams. I take your point about "how would he know?", but why then did he not just say he overstated and that it is not definitely going to be a four way fight? Maybe I am getting tunnel vision on this, but none of his responses have really addressed the issue and have in fact made him seem more scummy, as others admit. h-hrmph! h-I will h-have h-one h-of Caldwell's chicken sandwiches. h-And make h-it snappy!
  20. Yes I am nitpicking what he said. What else should I be doing? He can assume all he likes. But that's not what he said. What he said was what earnt my vote. h-I will confine my speech h-impediment to fluffy statements to save h-your small brain. Sure. Intercouse discussion. Objection sustained. I withdraw my statement. The jury is to disregard.
  21. h-Odd, odd odd. Much h-as CLEO might have a point about not lynching on day one, since it often turns out badly, to give up the information given by voting patterns would be, as Pierot might put it, a criminal waste. Braxton did not respond to h-either of the observations about his first speech today. Granted he could just be sleeping h-off his bricklaying so we will see. h-A vote will jog his attention though, since my dad used to say, 'vote early, vote often'. vote: Braxton Bear h-If people do not like Braxton, Myrtle and Bennett are playing comedy duo. Myrtle fluffing h-it up and then seemingly commenting on the play, but mixing up the actors. That h-is if it truely is a mix up and not a scummy attempt to deflect attention and cast suspicion Then Bennett chimes h-in. Gracie has already pinged him for his faults, go and check what she said. But Mytle comes back to parrot Bennett. h-If you are worried, your one weapon is your vote. h-Use it! See how easy h-it was. h-Unless you are more worried about not being active and instead, surviving? h-As for the mechanics thing, no one had speculated because it is not essential. h-It does not matter if they are monster or hellion, we lynch them. h-Unless someone wants to drop solid hints from their mafia licence and verify the information by dying, let us stick to what Schafer told us.
  22. h-I am sorry about my speech affliction Brewer. h-I will work on toning it down. h-Oh Braxton. Now h-a dodge? Not going to h-address the comment about the neutral at all? h-And where did you get the idea thirsty from?!? Do not deflect the conversation.
  23. H-oh dear Braxton. h-You are h-a silly bear h-are h-you not? Not h-one but two missteps h-in h-only h-your second speech. First you h-are definite about the h-existence h-of h-a neutral, something suggested h-only passingly by Leevi. h-And h-you feel the need to clarify that h-you h-are town h-as h-an h-afterthought to saying h-"us". Plus, h-we know h-what day h-it h-is, reminding h-us h-is h-only the h-appearance h-of h-helpfulness.
  24. Leevi! Caldwell! h-Everyone knows we do not eat pig! Ask Whitby, h-I h-am sure he will cook h-you h-up some nice pork crackling h-or crispy bacon h-or h-even h-a h-ham sandwich.
