Thanks! I looked at the stores in Anaheim and orange! I’ll keep you guys updated in my searches aha Also, I think it would be great to organize an AFOL meet up if anyone else is down

anyone in southern California find the sets?
-
Has anyone been able to find the advent calendar?
-
I went to 4 targets yesterday and 2 5 belows (I found the Disney CMF early there) and no luck. my guess is that once targets gets the sets, they may have the CMF too, so keep looking and asking my friends!
-
I agree, it’s convenient to be in Orange County. There’s Disney, south coast, Ontario mills, and mission viejo ?

The LEGO store in downtown Disney is open!

JP Brickfanatics has a review up! Close look on all figures!
-
Really hoping that when I wake up tomorrow, ill be greeted with official statements/ pictures. Im so ready to see these figures and set in all its glory. Its been tooooo long especially with these unofficial releases!
-
Imagine how people felt when the $800 millennium falcon only came with like 8 figures ?? The only way I see more than 12 figures is if the count of figures is inflated with no named character such as witches/wizards/shopkeepers, which are only meant to fill the scene (like storm troopers or rebels) Or duplicates/different variants of harry/ron/hermione

I think the realistic thing to do is to be reasonable instead of getting hopes up with sooo many figs. It’s highly unlikely. The max amount of figs I think we’ll get are 12. Anything more is unrealistic. 1. Harry 2. Ron 3. Hermione 4. Hagrid 5. Ollivander 6. Ice Cream Shop Guy 7. Goblin x2 8. Lucius 9. Lockhart 10. Fred 11. George they normally don’t have figs who got recently released in other big sets this wave. I would count molly and Arthur out.

Thats not too bad when you put it that way, but I think it would be great (im sure everyone does too) if all the shops were just as detailed. I guess its just me still hoping that we'd get diagon alley sets that were like modular style (2/3 shops in each set) and released yearly that connect to each other like the Minifigure scale Hogwarts.
-
I also dont believe its microscale, I just have some doubts on the overall size of the set. with that said, if the set looks anything like the microscale hogwarts, I think it would look great and they would compliment each other, side by side. the GWP DA set in my opinion was tooooo small. it was more micro micro micro scale. But if its looks great and compliments Hogwarts well and has great figs I think I would still get it. The thing for me is, scale dont matter too much, its more on how great the build looks on display (when it comes to D2Cs). Im just excited/nervous to see what it looks like.
-
I dont think that it will be exclusively micro scaled but I thing a mixture would be interesting to see. I am all for a Minifigure scale set, but I just hope that it done justice to and isn't hallow facades. I just hope there is depth to the set, that's all. Especially when the last Diagon Alley set was $150 with only 2025 pieces (including 12 Minifigs). That was only three buildings. if that rate continued, for $400 dollars you'd only see about 5000 pieces. and for 5000 pieces I cant imagine 8/9 shops and a large assortment of Minifigs that people want. Its all just confusing.
-
I agree with that too, I love to see great Minifigures scale shops, but with the amount of shops rumored, I think that a lot of buildings at that price point may not be possible. Unless the set is 6000+ pieces like Hogwarts. The Taj Mahal at $370 had 5923 pieces. But if its around 4000 pieces, its just hard to visualize. Especially when considering if there are exclusive figs like Lockhart or skeeter included, that just adds to a higher price with a lower piece count.
-
Not to add fuel to the fire but has anyone considered that the set can be both a mix of minifig and micro scale? If it is Diagon Alley, I think It would be kind of cool if the designers did a forced perspective thing where shops and buildings looked bigger closer to the front of the alley and shops towards the back would be smaller or microscale? I keep imagining that Diagon Alley would be like the modular buildings (smaller of course) but with a 400 dollar price point, I dont see it happening. I would hate to see just facades of buildings. I would love to see depth.
-
You can confirm it because the door sticker has a notch in it. The notch in it is for a stud handle. The door sticks on the microscale Hogwarts didnt have notches.
-
I completely agree. I keep asking myself why couldn't the CMF be released early like it did in Bulgaria somewhere local to me. Its such a rare find to get sets early. Im always in shock when MandRproductions/Just2Good find sets easily and early.

LEGO Disney Minifigures & D2Cs - Rumors and Discussion
Sheesh417 replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think it wasn't a great seller because it wasn't a great value. the train looked beautiful but the price was a little to steep, especially since the station didnt have much depth. If it goes on sell, I think I would pick it up. As for the CMF, I think its a lot more accessible to other people due to its price point. I would hope we don't need to wait until 2022 to get another. Lets hope for 2021. Lets also hope they get back to the theme park builds. I am excited for the Winnie the pooh ideas set though-- lets see if Sesame Street bricks the "no new molds" rule. Maybe another CMF will coincide with it. Lets hope it opens the door for other Minifigures sets too. Its a shame ideas passed on snow whites cottage, but those are builds I would love to see. Other Disney movie castle sets or iconic locations would be a great move for D2Cs. The buildable mickey and Minnie are great to look at, but not what im looking for in my Disney lego display.- 961 replies

Hi everyone, Ive been following this forum for a while, first time contributing. I had been anticipating this CMF series for a very long time. When I saw the leaked packaging I was very excited to get those figures, but after seeing the entire lot I did feel some initial disappointment. James and Lily were a great surprise and are welcomed! I find Ron and Hermione's appearance to be quite boring, although the butter beer mugs look great! I just wished that they came with more individual looks, instead of matching simple street clothing like harry. I also agree with others about Fred and George. They look weird, and should only take up one spot, since they are identical. It is great to see them though after so long. Ginny looks slightly odd but still a great variant. Im looking forward to the DA reveal and see what figures are included to make sense of the CMF. Correct me if Im wrong but I remember there being a rumor about there being at least two figures from each house in the CMF. Its sad that didn't come true since 10/16 are Gryffindor. 2 (Bellatrix and myrtle) are Slytherin. Luna is the only Ravenclaw and Sprout is the only Hufflepuff. I would've loved to see more representation from other houses. Even though there is a minifigure accessory pack, I feel like it doesn't do justice.
