  1. http://imgur.com/PJz8K7C Here's a pic of the rebuild so far pushing it around the track so far its not slowing up around corners (although inclines are stopping it)
  2. Will get a photo once it's reassembled I had used the newest Hogwarts Express set of wheels so it uses 4 and 2 blinds in the middle Using the Hogwarts train for parts so using it's same layout (used emerald night instructions for the most part for gear system) Uses the same layout as the emerald night aside from the back wheels use mini wheels the ones you can put on minifig cars
  3. So I've been working on a black steam train using the gear system from the emerald night train design while it runs fine on straight track it slows to stops around corners It was using the same xl motor design although I did tests with a pf train motor b it the same results (removed the Pistons etc) but no luck Hoping to get some advice as this is my first moc train and I have a upcoming show this month and like it running along with my other trains (white bullet train and winter train)
  4. Hi found this place a few times for a few moc inspirations I do a few mocs and mostly collect marvel superheroes which I'm slowly merging the 2 for some ideas Finally signed up as I needed some help with a moc steam train I'm working on (I'll post in the right forum) Great to be here signed up and hope to see some cool things in the forums
