LOL! This is great! :-D You just need to build a bird or tree house on it... ;-) OT: Very nice MOCs he got there! I had a laugh at the "operation lethal duck" and his bakery with the ship hull top is great!
-
Uah that gunship looks strange. Like a discus with a head. :-D Or is it possible that we get s.th. battlepack like? Remember the discussion about the Imperial Dropship. Everyone thought that it would be that ship from the Star Wars games and ended up beeing a battlepack with parts. But another droid bp? naah don't know. Let's pray for that Tie Defender! *y*
-
I don't even know how this droid gunship looks, but I also wanted that Tie Defender! :-( The agent line maight be interesting, a 007 rip-off? Why not!? ;-) I imagine little backpacks with hidden weapons, guns with silencers and some nasty bad guys. :-D

Usually the OT collectors grew up with the OT, and might also be highly interested in their 2nd favorite movie: Indiana Jones! :-D So no: not a cheap year! ;-) But we can all see the trend that there will be less models coming from OT. IMHO they did nearly every important model from the OT movies. So except for some Endor base/battlepacks or maybe a minifig scale Blockade Runner I guess that TLC will mostly do remakes in the next years?...

This is so great! You did a nice job Mutley, can't wait to see the whole Dio! *y* btw, is the cannon or its black "gun-part" moveable in any way?
-
Thanks for the review! This is a very nice set. Definately a must buy for me!! I think that those Star Wars heiroglyphics must be the first sticker I actually really like... but what the... flick-fire missiles in an Indy set? ;-) aaah feel like ending up with an Indy clone army...

Arrgh missed a contest. :-D But looking at the entries I'm sure that 0 votes wouldn't do any good for my ego. :-D Holy *whatever* Benks entry is just awesome. I voted for Benk and Phred. *y* PS: Why didn't anyone try to build a Hinckley mech? With hat and whip, that would have been cool.

Pretty good. I've always had difficulties builiding a decent hovertank, so I know that it is not that easy. It looks pretty nice from the front and the top, I also like the opening hatch on top! But I somehow think that you could amend the cockpit slightly. IMHO the top 1/3rd of it looks too bulky from the side/back and reworking that should result in a sleeker look. Not sure about that, unfortunately I don't know how the original tank looks. PS: I love the color scheme!! :-)

It's ugly, but it's also pretty cool. ;-)

I still have mixed feelings about it. I don't like the overall design of the ship but TLCs attempt is pretty good. I like the fact that it comes with plenty of gimmicks and other moveable parts. Not sure if I will get it - might BL for Juno. *wub* :-D

Oh my god, I've been in holiday and now I see the Indy sets coming out. :-) It is really incredible how authentic Sean Connery as minifig looks!

Review: 7622 Indiana Jones - Race For the Stolen Treasure
zz-80 replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yiihaaa!! This set is so adorable!! *wub* I can't wait to get my hands on that! Thanks for the nice review!! *y* -
Voted for the 80s *y* as all sets over the whole TLC range were pretty decent.

Tough question, I'd say 1989... because Space Police I came out that year (beautifully designed ships + these cool trans red cockpits = influenced and enhanced my MOCs), some very nice castle sets were released and the city things are also wonderful and of course: Pirates! (Oh and you were still able to buy some of the cool '88 sets, like Blacktron... :-D) Best decade could be from 1983-1993... but I'm not so sure, '93 was the beginning of my dark age. WW is something I've also been waiting for... Of course as a SW lover, everything starting from '99 was great too, but I chose '89 because nearly all sets - regardless of theme - were pretty nice.
-
congrats *vader* *y* I remember that at first you didn't want to build a vig, yes? You got the dark force bonus. :-D

When are the semi-finals closed? I'm flying to China on tuesday and I want to vote in the finals... 8-|
-
6? only 6? :-D (and I thought yoda was crazy about that base...)
-
I should have taken a closer look on Sir Dillons pic. That is really a fantastic angle, it looks like the catapult is 250m away! *y* Thanks for the votes! :-)

Hehe your welcome! I liked the meteor best (the flames and the enchained skellie) from that group. Had to choose between Jockos, Nadrojs, Bricksters and yours. For the second part I had a hard time choosing between Hewkii, SlyOwl, Vaders and Aaylas. SlyOwl's is pretty gloomy and morbid. *y* Might vote for his in the finals... but I somehow favored the old-fashioned 8x8 vigs and the contrast among these two this time. :-D
-
mmmh, yummy, subways!! :-)
-
I voted for Iamded and Hewkii9. Calling a meteor is pretty cool, loud and very smashy. Sorting them is exactly the other way: Pretty calm and relaxing. :-D It was a tough choice, could have voted for at least 10 vigs. *wub* I might choose more cruel ones in the next round. ;-)

This must be my first as well. The following two Shell gas stations are definatly among the best city sets. *wub* (Is Lego the reason why I do prefer Shell when I have to get some gasoline for my car? :-D Do younger ones look out for Octan stations? :-P) From the newer lines it must be the Batman magnets - if they count as set. :-D
-
iamded, any chance that you will get a digicam for x-mas? I really like your entry, but I think that the cell phone pics don't do justice to your moc. ;-)
-
I don't know if you noticed, but I stated in my entry post which picture should be taken for the poll(s). Hope this is ok for you?...

Just bought Team Fortress 2 8-| :-D Of course I have to make a minifig or two from this game, just to fit that buy in here... ;-)
