  1. Canon is but a point of view, Anakin. The canon and the memes are similar in almost every way, including their usage in LEGO sets.
  2. Oh, absolutely! Doesn't mean we can't wish this special alternate design looked better
  3. YEAH, when I first saw the leak I did a doubletake ...Though, with this alternate purpose in mind, this head would work great if we got a Bantu Wind set with Indy and Marion's cabin ;)
  4. "Let the past die. Kill it, if you have to." - Agent Kallus, 2023
  5. Even ignoring that we already have a set list for Yavin and that ain't it, this just seems way too wishlisty. No way in heck are they including FIVE 501st troopers in any set.
  6. Hopefully. Not just for DoD, but (in the miracle we get a second wave) if the band and hair are separate, they could use this same mold for Belloq and Toht.
  7. I will take as many extra pilots as you are willing to give me, the more there are the more likely we are to get new helmets and specific face prints. (Also, Rebel Friend is a Fleet Trooper. Just saying.)
  8. Touchè. Good idea! Grant has brown hair and his hat has a brown band, so the double molding would work perfectly. ...With that said, I just realized something regarding Dial of Destiny: if this a double-molded piece where the hair and hat band are the secondary color, how would this piece work for a gray-haired Indy?
  9. I mean, if there are 15 minifgures and only 11 of them are currently accounted for, there's no telling what they could be. Unless leakers have other reason for believing the remaining figures are 100% ANH-based, more ANH background characters are just as likely as Rogue One characters are just as likely as our Lord and Savior Rebel Friend.
  10. Agreed, though hopefully this is a Kuill situation where the leak just has a subtly bad angle. I'll be honest, I'm not hot on the dark brown hair. Not only does it create an inconsistency with HF's other 80s character we have in minifig form, it's also just too dark for him regardless imo.
  11. An Indy figure with spiderweb on his face (presumably from 77015) has leaked on Instagram from the account bluebrickfr.
  12. Wait... 12-15? As in there could be FIFTEEN minifigures in Yavin IV? (Rebel Mechanic, my beloved, here we come)
  13. The Light Cruiser is fair (I just forgot it because it's the worst LSW set ever made lol), but the Justifier is a different color and shape. And in any case, I think you're missing the point, perhaps intentionally. I'm not saying that I think the Yavin IV Base and the Jedi Temple are the same set, any more than I think the ISD and the Venator are the same set. I'm saying that the amount of Star Wars playsets between $100 and $200 is a number I can count on one hand. It's rare to get two LSW big playsets on shelves at the same time regardless of what they are, so the odds of getting two that are even vaguely similar to the uninitiated is an unlikely subset of an unlikely probability. Not saying it 100% won't happen - now that we're getting Yavin, my new #1 most wanted LSW set is "literally any major location from the prequels" - but I wouldn't expect it.
  14. There literally aren't "generic pilots", every pilot from the Battle of Yavin is a named character with a unique helmet lol 2002, 2006, 2009, 2014, 2017, 2019. Always waiting until after the previous one retired.
  15. I feel like the Jedi Temple is similar enough to the Yavin Base (they're both tan pyramids) that they probably wouldn't have them on shelves at the same time. That said, if we show LEGO that big playsets can sell, then maybe we'll FINALLY get a Geonosis Arena at the $160 price tag. One of these decades...
  16. I mean, when Yavin comes out it'll have been 3 1/2 years since the last appearance of the infamous Dak head, so there's a good chance they would be introducing a new pilot design in this set. ...That is, if they don't do specific prints for specific characters. We can presume we'll get a Y-Wing pilot and an X-wing pilot. If the X-Wing pilot is Biggs or Porkins they'd require a unique face, and if it's Red Leader they could do a face with the visor and chinstrap on one side and none on the other to recreate his helmetless scene in the base (same goes with Biggs). Also, while none of the three Y-Wing pilots in Ep. IV have really unique faces, as stated by others in this forum LEGO may well decide to include Evaan Verlaine from Rogue One as the Y-Wing pilot (she's the only member of Gold Squadron to survive the Battle of Yavin, plus it would be in-character for LEGO to want more than one girl in the set), who would obviously need a new head as well. Considering that we can seemingly count on six figures to be direct reprints (seven if they don't do a torso variant for Han), I could definitely see them putting in the extra mile on the pilots, presuming they aren't just Wedge and Vander lol
  17. Getting off for... being correct that they're including one and not the other? Go back and read my post. I never said they 100% wouldn't include Fleet Troopers, just that they 100% wouldn't include Fleet Troopers IF they included Honor Guard, and likewise wouldn't include Honor Guard if they included Fleet Troopers. Not my fault everyone extrapolated in the wrong direction.
  18. ...Is that meme still funny after TRoS made it canon?
  19. Nah, but there really isn't much ground to debate on that and no notable omissions to question.
  20. You're telling me you're NOT interested in the potential of a Han minifig with a fully buttoned-up shirt?
  21. Firstly, there we go. Two Fleet Troopers and no Honor Guard. Debate solved. Moving on, I'm pretty glad with this selection. "Celebration Han" is interesting, makes me wonder if we will get a new torso variant with the correct shirt. Two pilots is also good, I'm still holding put hope they'll be the two from the Battle of Yavin we've never gotten official helmets for (Red Leader and Gold Five), but chances are if we get someone from Red Squadron it'll be Biggs or Wedge.
  22. If we get a UCS Mando N-1 before we get an actual UCS Phantom Menace N-1... I would be completely unsurprised by LEGO's poor decision-making.
  23. Thinking on it further, while I definitely understand LEGO wanting to remake a UCS X-Wing, am I the only one who would've preferred if they'd done the black Sequel Trilogy version? It would be an original set, it has a sleeker and arguably cooler design, would have better potential for an exclusive minifigure (Poe with a new head in the warm tan color and the helmet from TSS), and we are REALLY overdue for more sequel sets, it's going on three years now. I know the reason we don't get sequel sets is because a lot of people have an irrational hatred for those movies (though six years ago I could've said the same about Attack of the Clones), but it's still a shame.
  24. I have no interest in buying a UCS X-Wing, but I'm interested in seeing it. The piece count is enough of a jump from the 2013 version that I'm hoping for a much higher level of detail. That said... maybe I'm alone here, but the Luke figure really doesn't do it for me. The arm printing looks nice but isn't a first for Rebel pilots, and honestly the boots kind of clutter the design imo. They don't really add much and don't blend well with the existing print. Not impressed.
